Luca and Lucia embarked on a new chapter of their lives as they began attending their new school. They were introduced to their classmates by their teacher, a typical ritual for new students, until a few teachers paid a visit to personally check in on them.
To their surprise, several educators recognized Luca for his striking resemblance to a young Rayden Cano Xavier, the CEO of BLOUSHZE Group. Lucia, his twin sister, shared this recognition.
"Luca! Lucia, may I inquire who your father is?" asked Meetha, a teacher who also served as the twins' homeroom instructor.
Both Luca and Lucia innocently shook their heads. They genuinely did not know the identity of their biological father.
And it wasn't just them who were in the dark – not even their mother knew the true identity of their father.
"Could it be that your mother has forbidden you to share this with others?" Meetha probed further, driven by curiosity about the twins' origins.
Once again, the response from Luca and Lucia was a head shake. This revelation was quite astonishing to her.
"So, you have never been told who your real father is?" Meetha exclaimed, unable to comprehend why the twins' mother would conceal their father's identity.
This time the twins nodded. Indeed, they understood what was going through their teacher's mind but chose to act as typical 6-year-olds to avoid drawing too much attention.
Feigning ignorance was already garnering them attention because they resembled the prominent CEO. If their abilities were to become public knowledge, they might end up as experimental subjects.
"How about this: would you like it if I helped you find your biological father?" offered Meetha, genuinely wishing to assist the seemingly unfortunate twins.
"Really? You would help us find our dad?" Lucia asked, feigning naivety in front of her teacher.
"Yes, I will help you find a complete family, so you can have a happy life," Meetha continued, her intentions pure.
"Then please, we'd appreciate your help, ma'am!" Lucia replied with a sweet smile, bowing gracefully in gratitude.
Easily accepting her sincere offer, Luca also felt compelled to bow alongside Lucia out of respect for their teacher.
Inwardly, however, Luca objected to others meddling in their family matters, foreseeing only complication.
"If that settles it, you may return to your studies," Meetha said, allowing Luca and Lucia to rejoin their friends.
Afterward, Meetha left the room, unaware another teacher was waiting outside, sneakily capturing the twins' playful classroom moments.
"Meetha, is it true? Are they the children of Mr. Rayden Cano Xavier?" another teacher whispered, the first to notice the resemblance in Luca's face.
"If so, that would be excellent for our school!" the principal chimed in, thrilled by the mere thought.
"Absolutely! Your career might just take off," another educator joined in.
Though grateful for the potential opportunity, Meetha hesitated to post their pictures on social media, aware that the twins' mother deliberately hid their father's identity.
"If you're unsure, why not use a fake account to publish it?" suggested one teacher among the group.
"Excellent idea, Tari! Use a pseudonym," the principal concurred, endorsing the proposal.
"I'll consider it," Meetha resolved, still unsure.
Meanwhile, Luca, disturbed by his teacher's words, whispered his concerns to Lucia, who was engrossed in playing with a paper airplane.
"Luci, is it alright to let our teacher interfere with our family matters?" he inquired softly.
"I see no issue, really," Lucia replied nonchalantly.
"The main thing is how mom will take it. That's what's important, bro!" she added.
"You're right! Mom's had only us. How would she feel if dad appeared and took us away from her?" Luca murmured, saddened by the mere thought.
"Don't worry, I'll give dad a thrashing if he tries anything," Lucia declared with fiery determination.
"Uhh, you're always the most reliable, Luci!" Luca commended, affectionately stroking his sister's long hair.
As school concluded, Zhia arrived to pick up her twins in the newly repaired car, customary of their routine.
Throughout the drive home, Zhia asked about the twins' first day at their new school.
Lucia enthusiastically shared her experiences, omitting the conversation with Meetha, while Luca unusually kept to himself, prompting Zhia's curiosity.
"Luca, has anyone bothered you at school?" Zhia inquired, perceiving her son's preoccupation.
"With Luci by my side, who would dare?" Lucia boasted confidently.
"Ah, I forgot about our strong and dependable Lucia," Zhia praised her dauntless daughter, who blushed in modesty.
"How was your day, mom? Did everything go smoothly?" Lucia asked as she typically did.
"And what about your research? Was it well-received?" Luca eagerly discussed the IT research, strongly linked to his own interests.
"Hmm, all rather smooth," Zhia attempted to mask the truth from her children.
"The opposite is true, judging by mom's demeanor," Luca astutely guessed from his mother's behavior.
"Forgive me, my loves," Zhia responded, bowed in embarrassment before her children.
"There's always tomorrow, mom! We can try again," Lucia reassured her mother.
"Yes, mom! We'll get another chance," Luca sympathized with his mother's mishap.
"Thanks, my dears! Tonight, I'll cook your favorite large helping. Do you like that idea?"
"Yay, we love you, mom!" Luca and Lucia cried out joyously.
