Rayden had just finished cleaning himself, and he was really looking forward to some rest. However, the conversation with his parents earlier was still nagging at his thoughts.
His eyes refused to close, and his mind was wandering restlessly, which led him to decide to head to his office.
Turning on his computer to check several files in his email, Rayden instead discovered that the security system he had reinforced had almost been breached by someone.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Rayden mused, visibly shocked to see his security system nearly compromised.
"How could someone breach the security system I've strengthened?"
With super-fast finger movements, Rayden set about reconstructing his security system. Not only that, but he also retaliated by sending a barrage of viruses back at the person trying to hack into his email.
"I'm sure it's you, you little scoundrel! I'll show you who Rayden Cano Xavier really is. Get ready, you little villain!"
Rayden continued to furiously type out hacking codes and send them, pressuring the intruder to retreat.
But Rayden's actions didn’t deter the intruder. Instead, the attacker kept repelling the viruses sent by Rayden, refusing to back down.
Again and again, the attacker sent numerous viruses with new hacking codes, impressing Rayden with their skill.
The only person daring enough to hack into the BLOUSHZE Group's system was Luca. Driven by curiosity about his biological father, Luca had secretly penetrated the security.
Luca's intent was simply to steal some of Rayden's personal data from his private email to confirm his younger sibling's words.
All he wanted was to take some childhood photos of Rayden from the personal data, looking for accurate proof.
However, he hadn’t anticipated that Rayden would have so fortified the security system that it would take a considerable time to hack.
"Sorry, Mom! I'm doing this only for Lucia, who desperately wants to have a father," murmured Luca, feeling guilty for pretending to sleep.
"Haah, what's this?"
Luca was shocked as his email began to be assaulted by viruses.
He was even more astonished to realize that he had been detected hacking data for the second time—neither NASA nor the UN, entities he had previously hacked, ever knew he was breaching their data.
"Am I caught again?"
Luca speculated to himself, but his nimble fingers immediately went into action trying to defend his position to avoid being decisively repelled.
"It seems so! But this time, I won't give up so easily. Let's see whose skills are superior in this field, Dad Or Me?"
Without realizing it, Luca had acknowledged Rayden as his father. Fired up, Luca returned Rayden's viruses with ones he had crafted himself.
All the while, time flew by, with both Luca and Rayden relentlessly attacking each other.
Eventually, Rayden overpowered Luca with a decisive blow, sending a massive number of viruses that shut down and smoked Luca's computer.
"This time, I'll end it with one assault," Rayden declared with a demonic grin.
"Face it if you can, but don't blame me if your computer starts smoking! Hahahahaa..."
In the quiet of the night, Rayden laughed triumphantly in his office, the bothersome thoughts about marriage fading instantly.
"Oh my goodness, what's this?" Luca wondered aloud, alone in his room.
"Argh, smoke! Smoke!" Luca panicked as he saw black smoke seeping out of his computer.
"Luca, what's happening!"
Zhia, who was still awake, rushed to her son's room upon hearing his shouts.
Her face betrayed deep concern, and she didn’t even realize she was running barefoot.
"Mom, there's smoke coming from Luca's computer," Luca said, having moved away from his computer.
Zhia, seeing the black smoke, quickly disconnected all the cables linked to the computer.
Then, she turned her attention to Luca to check for any injuries; Luca's well-being was her utmost priority.
"Are you alright?" Zhia asked again, needing confirmation.
Luca just nodded his head, still a bit shaken.
"Thank goodness you're safe! But what were you doing to cause this?"
Zhia shifted from a kind, loving mother to one of stern concern.
"Luca woke up accidentally, smelling smoke, Mom!" Luca lied to avoid his mother's anger.
"My goodness, really? Maybe there was an electrical fault that caused the computer to smoke," Zhia mused, believing Luca's words.
"It's all okay now. Go back to sleep; it's very late," Zhia said gently, kissing Luca's forehead with love.
"Yes, Mom! Good night," Luca agreed, now lying in his bed.
"Good night, dear! Sweet dreams!" Zhia returned, kissing Luca's forehead tenderly.
