"Hey, how can mom have been involved with a guy like that?" exclaimed Luca, still not believing his sister's claims.
"How else could we look so incredibly similar to him?" argued Lucia, confident that Rayden was really their biological father.
"It could be a coincidence," Luca replied, skepticism in his tone.
"So, there's also a chance he's our dad, right?"
Lucia wouldn't give up, firmly believing that Rayden was their father.
"Ha, you're really something else!"
Luca couldn't fathom why his sister was so certain that the most feared man in the world was their father.
"Bro, do something, or should I just ask mom who our real dad is? I want a dad, bro!"
Lucia whined to Luca, knowing he could swiftly extract information by hacking into the target's data.
"No need to ask mom, it might only make her sad again. I'll try to hack into his data, just make sure mom doesn't find out about this," Luca said, returning his focus to his laptop screen.
He began typing the targeted email address, his small hands rapidly entering all kinds of strange codes.
Meanwhile, Lucia watched every keystroke made by her brother with eyes wide in amazement, feeling envious of his skills.
Elsewhere, Zhia was deeply engaged in an argument at work about that house. Now she even challenged her boss.
Because of the virus Luca sent to their company, causing a data breach – not fatal, yet still damaging – Zhia knew her son had discreetly helped her, and she used the situation to threaten her boss into agreeing to a bigger company house.
Luca was moments away from cracking the highly secure BLOUSHZE Group’s systems. Just a few more hacking codes, and he could steal all their data.
But his actions didn't slip past Rayden Cano Xavier, the CEO of BLOUSHZE Group, who noticed his email was being hacked by someone injecting viruses into his system.
Rayden flipped the situation by sending a barrage of viruses back to the intruder's email.
"Who's this little rascal daring to breach my security? Quite talented, indeed. Let's see who's best here," Rayden mused with a satisfied smile, his fingers swiftly typing on the keyboard.
Rayden was delighted; it had been ages since he'd encountered a worthy opponent.
"Bro, what's happening to the laptop?" Lucia asked as the laptop screen almost filled with 'System Error'.
"I've been detected and he's attacking me by sending more viruses," Luca said, pressed by his adversary's actions.
"What do we do now, Bro?"
Lucia bit her small finger nervously.
"Of course, I’ll keep breaking through his defenses."
Luca quickened the pace of his eyes and fingers, hacking at a level that even Lucia couldn't follow due to the speed.
Rayden, not to be outdone, speeded up his brain and fingers, making a ferocious father-and-son battle inevitable.
Yet, as Luca got increasingly pressed, his small hands struggled to fend off the attacks from Rayden.
In the nick of time, when Luca was about to penetrate BLOUSHZE Group's security, their mother casually closed his laptop.
"Mom?!" Luca and Lucia exclaimed in unison, annoyed at their mother.
"What? I should be the one who’s upset, with you two always on that laptop," Zhia said, unapologetically.
"Ah, I was so close to hacking in perfectly." Luca sighed heavily, feeling like his hard work was in vain for the first time.
"It's all because mom decided to just shut the laptop!" Luca continued, his frustrated face ironically sweet to Zhia.
"What did you say, Luca? Come here, let me pinch your ear," Zhia threatened playfully, endeared by her son's complaint, about to pinch Luca's ear. However, Lucia quickly stepped in front of her with an angry face.
"Stop it, Mom! You should be apologizing to us, but instead, you're angry." Lucia adamantly pushed her mother's hand away.
"Because of what you did, the data Luca worked hard to retrieve is gone. Isn’t it unfair to him?" she added fervently.
"Really? Then I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were doing something important! Forgive me, dear," Zhia requested with her deadliest charm.
"Let it go, Luci! We can always try again later," Luca suggested, trying to calm his sister and appease their mom.
"Bro, you promise, okay?" Lucia asked with puppy eyes.
"Yes, I promise," Luca reassured her, for him the task was trivial.
"We're good now, right? Let's go help mom with dinner," Zhia proposed to her twins.
"Okay!" Lucia grumbled, still a bit upset.
"Mom and Luci go ahead! I need to finish cleaning up here," Luca said, reopening his laptop.
"Okay, don't take too long!" Zhia advised her son before she and Lucia headed towards the kitchen to prepare dinner.
"If only I had a little more time, I could have done it," mused Luca, focusing back on his laptop.
Then, he began erasing his digital footprint to prevent being tracked. In less than ten minutes, everything was once again under Luca's control.
Rayden, baffled, noticed the attacker suddenly stopped and the viruses causing system errors vanished.
"What happened?"
"Where did that person go? They were attacking so recklessly that even I almost struggled to block them, and now all their viruses are gone?"
Rayden mumbled to himself, attempting to track down the intruder. But the digital trail was spotless.
Not even a trace remained for him to pursue, all evidence vanished like grains of sand in the wind.
"That little rascal is quite formidable! I must hold a meeting to discuss this and find ways to further secure the system," Rayden, impressed by another's hacking skills, resolved.
"Will, gather all the employees! I need an emergency meeting now," Rayden commanded over the office phone.
An urgent meeting was hastily convened, and no one was spared from Rayden's ire.
He couldn't fathom how his best employees failed to detect an external attack on their system.
Rayden urged them all to think hard, to create a security system impenetrable even to him, although that seemed impossible.
