Realization...

Yoko sat alone in her brother's old room. she was looking through his old notes and maps he made of the surrounding area.

the door opened and Sabrina walked in.

"you wanted to talk to me?" Sabrina asked

"yeah.. I assume Jacob and Brock have already informed you on what happened while you were gone... alots changed since last month..." Yoko said as she sorted through some files on her desk.

"yeah.... it pisses me off I couldnt help you or.... Jin" Sabrina said as she looked off to the side.

"Jin made alot of small notes and maps about the surrounding area... a few of which might help us alot..." Yoko said as she finished sorting the files and grabbed one paper and pushed it towards sabrina.

Sabrina looked at the paper confused

"it's all in Japanese-" Sabrina said as she couldn't make out what anything read.

"right... here I'll translate" Yoko said as she pointed to the bottom part of the map

"that's a key, it has descriptions of what every symbol means and right here it says this 'R' symbol stands for Jonetsu bases and warehouses in the area." Yoko continued

"and heres a R symbol... that's the facility Ricardo kept you in when he kidnapped you" Yoko moved her finger to the other side of the map

"and this facility is where Jonetsu and Curiosity had its first 'peaceful meeting'..." Yoko said

"you met with Ricardo?" Sabrina asked

"yeah on semi peaceful terms, surprisingly it was suggested by Ricardo himself but my guess is that he wasent trying to make peace with us but to show his strength" Yoko finished

"show his strength?" Sabrina asked

1 month ago.... exactly 1 hour before Sabrina and Brocks encounter with Ricardo....

"I'm glad you showed up on such short notice..." Ricardo spoke and he sat at his desk with his arms folded.

Jin and Yoko walked closer to his desk.

Yoko was wearing her plastic rabbit mask and Jin had a face mask covering the lower half of his face.

Jin looked around the room and of course he saw the dozens of grunts Ricardo had at his disposal but what really caught his eye were 2 others that were differnt then the rest.

the first one was about as tall as Ricardo, he had dreadlocks that were pulled back into a man bun, he wore a dark uniform that had stars all over it and he had a clown mask on.

the other one looked like he was a kid maybe 16 or so. he had long purple hair and wore a sleeveless jacket. his jacket hood was over his head and he had a hockey mask on.

"Right..." Jin said as he sat down at the one chair infront of Ricardos desk. Yoko stood by his side.

Ricardo put his feet up on the desk, slamming them down with a large THUD.

"Now I understand our little camps have had a few.. minor incidents.." Ricardo said

"but I feel as tho we need some common ground... I'd like you to understand what kind of position you're in... I'd say this room is a good metaphor for how much control I have over you..." Ricardo said as he leaned back in his chair. the top of his face being covered by the shadows.

a sudden clicking noise in the room caused Jin to quickly stand up from his seat and pull his pistol on Ricardo aiming it right for his skull.

suddenly every person in the room pulled their weapons out and aimed them at Jin.

Someone rushed at Jin with a machete but Yoko pulled her bo staff up to their throat and pushed a button on the side, causing a blade to extend forward.

Ricardo took his feet off the table and smirked...

"please do lower your weapons" he said as he walked around his desk and up to Jin.

Jin followed his every movement with his pistol- his eyes locking onto Ricardo fully.

his pupils were zoomed in so much that you almost couldnt see them.

Ricardo go closer to Jin and stared down at him.

"come on we both know you wont dare take the shot... so stop playing pretend and put the gun away, Boy" Ricardo said as he intensely stared at Jin.

Jin could feel Ricardos eyes peer right through his soul, this gripping fear slowly yanking his heart.

Yoko tilted her head to the side as she slowly took her staff away from the mans neck.

Jin put his pistol back in its holster and everyone put thier weapons down aswell.

~present day~

"as you can see in his notes Jin says that he noticed a few large portraits of Ricardo one of which was in the center of a room he passed by on his way to the meeting room" Yoko said.

"so you want us to check it out?" Sabrina asked

"yeah... but itll just be us after all this is just a suspicion I dont know if it's even the right facility..." Yoko said

1 hour later, current location- half a mile from the Jonetsu facility...

"yoko... I was wondering what exactly do you expect to gain from going to this facility?" Sabrina asked

"well for starters I wanna know why Jason had a photo of Ricardo, and what kind of connection she has to Jonetsu.."

Yoko said as she jumped onto the side of a tree before leaping off it and jumping onto the next. she got to the top of one and looked around.

"hey! over there! theres a building less then a mile from here!" Yoko said from the tree.

the two finally got to the front of the building, Yoko put her rabbit mask on and kicked the door down.

"ladies first~" yoko said as Sabrina entered the building that seemed abandoned.

after a bit of walking a room caught Sabrina's eye and she peered into it and right on the wall was the portrait of Ricardo, the very same one she remembered from before.

"here! this is the room!" Sabrina said as walked in.

Yoko looked around the room and opened one of the file cabinets. she flipped through a few files before grabbing a folder titled "Vincent"

Yoko opened the folder and looked at some of the files in it.

"hmmm who's Vincent?" Yoko asked

Sabrina looked at the folder a little bit before shrugging her shoulders.

Yoko read a bit further untill something caught her eye

"here! Sabrina look at this!" Yoko said as she pointed at the file

"it says here that Jonetsu was conducting research on the deads and found a weird 'kink' in the way they act."

Yoko read further...

"when subjects are in stable conditions using any noise at a frequency of 3085 hz seems to aggravate subjects beyond belief... it is unknown why.

continuing to monitor, see page 3 for results..." Yoko kept reading

"after placing a dead with a prototype 'sound grenade' (see page 15) in a room with other deads, detonation of the sound grenade played a frequency of 3085 hz which caused the entire room of deads to stop what they were doing and immediately brutally murder the dead with the 'sound grenade'

after even more testing we put a dead bear carcass in the room as a distraction but even that didnt distract the deads from the 'sound grenade'... continuing to monitor..."

Yoko stopped and let out a large exhale

"holy shit dude..." Sabrina said

Yoko packed the folder into her bag and looked for more files in the cabinet.

she found one titled 'magic city'

Yoko opened it and read the first page.

"a new addition to my collection of peices to play with... I added a rook to my team, someone who goes by 'Jason' shes a kid but one hell of a killer..." Yoko stopped reading

"so, Jason's one of Ricardo's?" Sabrina asked

"yeah..."

they came there for awnsers but found a chilling reminder of the deads and their unpredictable nature...

Yoko took some time to study the sound grenade....
