Sabrina's focus part 1

Michael seemed worried about Sabrina's question

"you're asking me to help you escape?" Michale asked "yeah more or less, will you help me?" Sabrina said "I'm sorry Bri but I just dont have the skills to do something like that..." "the fact that I'm his only doctor isnt the only reason Ricardo keeps me around" Michale spoke as he tilted his head to the side..."if your doubting your own strength dont- I know a way we can both get out of here" Sabrina said with a grin.

the doors to Michael's office swung open and one of Ricardos men walked in

"what do ya want doc?" the man said "why dont you come a little closer and I'll show you" Michale said as the man stepped closer, when he got to Michales desk sabrina stepped behind the man and injected a syringe into his neck, the man winced and knocked her away from him, he drew his pistol but just as he was about to shoot his vision got blurry

"w-what the-" the mans speech was slurred "w- what did you do to me---?" the man could barely move a few feet without falling to the ground "when alcohol is injected directly into your veins... it can be used as a natural anesthetic" sabrina said as she tossed the syringe to the side.

Sabrina was walking through the facility, trying to find an exit

"look I get wanting to be the selfless, heroic type or whatever, but why the hell did Michael decide to stay behind?" Sabrina thought to herself.

she found herself in a wide open room, it had one door and almost no windows, it was weirdly dark. it wasn't that there wasent much light it was that the room itself gave off a dark almost menacing tone, she looked around the room for awhile before she stumbled across a mask laying on a desk, it looked like a hockey mask. she was about to pick it up when.

"you shouldn't touch things that aren't yours-" said a familiar voice from behind, Sabrina's eyes widened as she took a sharp breath in and barely managed to dodge the shadowy figure's punch as it went right through the desk leaving a large hole.

"I'm impressed that you've managed to dodge my punch so quickly" Ricardo said as he yanked his fist out of the desk and faced sabrina who was staying close to the ground after she dodged him. "I was hoping to get out of here easily but I guess that's not happening" sabrina said as she finally stood straight up.

Ricardo rushed towards sabrina going for a punch with his right hand, sabrina ducked under it and punched him in the gut

Ricardo endured the hit like it was nothing and immediately tried to counter with a left hook, Sabrina dodged again and punched him in the cheek twice, Ricardo backed up slightly and went in for a right hook, sabrina dodged it.

Ricardo rushed towards sabrina, he went for the same punch he had done before, sabrina ducked under it again and tried to go for a sucker punch to the gut but ricardo kneed her in the face as she ducked. she barely managed to block it, as ricardo punched her again, this time hitting her while her guard was up, she went sliding to the other side of the room only barely keeping her guard up at this point.

she collapsed to the ground breathing heavily.

Ricardo scoffed and grinned "is that all?" "I will admit your not a bad fighter but who ever taught you must've lost alot of fights-" Ricardo said as he crossed his arms "what the hell do you mean by that?" Sabrina said as her breathing slowly began to stabilize "your movements are predictable, when I went for the Same punch, you did the exact same counter-" Ricardo finished

Sabrina looked down, she closed her eyes as she tried to recall her past.

Sabrina spent most of her childhood with her uncle as her parents were incredibly busy, when she was 5 they went on a very long business trip and shes never seen them since, she spent the rest of her childhood with her uncle tom.

tom was a very kind man, he loved sabrina like she was his own daughter. they lived peacefully at Tom's old farm house In the northeast section of west Virginia. it was Sabrina's 7th birthday and all she really wanted was to fire a gun for the first time.

"but uncle tom- you fire guns all the time- why cant I try it" Sabrina asked

"Its very dangerous- I have alot of experience that's why I get to fire the gun and you dont" Tom spoke as he cleaned his rifle.

"b-but tom it's my birthday- you said I could have whatever I wanted on my birthday" sabrina spoke as she began to pout. Tom looked down at her- a warm smile grew on his face "alright fine-" tom said as he got up, Sabrina's pout turned into a bright smile as she followed him.

as time went on Tom taught sabrina more and more about guns

"and this is how you load the clip into the pistol-" "what do you do if you have no clips left?" Sabrina asked "well if you run out you could always throw the gun at em" Tom said as sabrina giggled. "did you ever have to throw your pistol at someone?" she asked "only once-" "a better idea would be to either run or just fight with your own two hands" Tom explained

in addition to being a loving uncle and simple farmer- tom is also ex military, he was so skilled he almost joined the delta force a highly elite force within the military- only the best of the best could get in, but after learning that Sabrina's parents were going to be gone for awhile tom had to retire and raise sabrina.

tom began teaching sabrina a few hand to hand combat tricks he picked up while he was a boxer- including a technique he made up on his own after years of experience he mastered what he called "battle focus" "battle focus?" Sabrina asked "what's a battle focus?"

"it's hard to explain- have you ever been so good at something that you can just do it naturally? like without even thinking?" "that's basically what battle focus is- you focus all your mental energy into nothing but combat- that's how I became a pro boxer" Tom explained "if you manage to gain battle focus you could become stronger then me" Tom added.

Sabrina snapped out of it- she took a deep breath in- when she exhaled, it was so intense that you could see her breath almost as if she was in a cold room. her breath looked similar to white smoke coming out of a factory almost as if her body was nothing more then a machine that was designed to battle.

she opened her eyes and stared at her opponent. Ricardo's grin faded- he noticed a difference in sabrina

"shes different- what the hell happened to her?" he thought to himself.

Sabrina's eyes dilated before constricting like the lens of a camera zooming in then zooming out rapidly. she dashed towards ricardo, her eyes almost locking onto him.
