Later that night, Elisyan quietly stepped into Kian’s room. The soft glow of the night lamp.

Illuminated his small frame, his steady breathing a comforting rhythm. She sat beside him, gently brushing his hair back as she stared at his sleeping face.

She laid down beside him, wrapping a protective arm around his small body. Within moments, exhaustion claimed her, and she fell into a deep sleep.
