The sky is calm. The wind blows softly. On the deck of the ship, Kai leans against the rail, arms folded, while Koby walks toward him slowly.
Koby:
“Kai... I’ve made up my mind.”
Kai (without looking):
“Yeah?”
Koby (serious):
“I want to become a Marine. A real one. The kind that protects people. I’m done hiding.”
Kai turns, slightly surprised.
Kai:
“Heh… not all Marines are scum. But most are. If you’re gonna do that… be different.”
Koby (nods):
“I will. I swear.”
Kai begins to walk away toward Ronan, who’s prepping the ship.
Koby suddenly shouts with teary eyes:
Koby:
“One day… we’ll meet again, bastard!”
Then without hesitation, he jumps off the side of the ship, plunging into the water. Kai watches quietly, smirking a little.
Kai (softly):
“Take care, pinky.”
[Cut Scene – A Hidden Marine Training Base]
Koby trains day and night, throwing punches, doing push-ups, and learning swordplay. A mysterious man wearing a cheetah-pattern mask stands over him, yelling instructions. Another young boy, Hibana, trains alongside Koby—a calm, focused fighter.
Masked Trainer (shouting):
“Again! Koby! Ten thousand punches! And no whining!”
Koby’s eyes burn with purpose.
[Cut Scene – Kai and Ronan Sailing]
Kai and Ronan are laughing aboard their ship.
Kai:
“So what now?”
Ronan (grinning):
“The Grand Line. Let’s go!”
They steer toward Reverse Mountain, struggling against the waves and sea pressure. But before they can cross—
BOOM!!!
A massive whirlpool, created by a Warlord's nearby ship, sucks them in. After a dizzy storm of currents, they’re spit out onto the shore of a mysterious island.
[Scene – Island of Mira]
They walk through the town, exhausted and broke.
Kai:
“We need a navigator.”
Ronan:
“And we need food.”
They ask around, but people avoid them, wary of pirates. Eventually, they walk past a busy outdoor bar where a beautiful woman with red hair, tanned skin, and a sly smile is serving drinks.
As Ronan adjusts his coat—
Ronan:
“…Wait… My berries…”
He checks his pocket—empty.
Ronan:
“SHIT! My money’s gone!”
Kai (spinning around):
“That lady—SHE TOOK IT!”
They sprint after her down the street.
[Scene – Town Streets, Chase Begins]
The lady weaves through alleyways effortlessly.
Woman (smirking, yelling back):
“Oi! Why are you guys following me? You wanna sleep with me or something?!”
Kai (annoyed):
“Shut up! You stole from us!”
Woman (laughs):
“Tch. My name’s Luna. Learn it well.”
She flips over a fruit stand, kicks crates, and even drops a bag of flour to blind them. They still keep chasing her through winding streets.
Finally, they corner her near a dead-end.
Luna (grinning):
“Uh oh…”
She fake pouts, then suddenly delivers a brutal kick straight to Ronan’s nuts.
Ronan (falling):
“GAHHHH—MY FUTURE KIDS!!!”
As he groans on the ground, Luna bolts again, laughing.
