Great! Let's dive into the next episode where we shift the focus to Sabo — the revolutionary brother of Ace and Luffy. But in this version of the story, Sabo does not have a Devil Fruit. Instead, he’s a master of martial arts, Haki, and stealth, making him one of the most dangerous fighters without needing powers.
Series: The Rogue Star
Episode 17: “Brother of Fire – Sabo’s Warpath”
[Scene – Revolutionary Army Base: Baltigo]
The camera pans over a massive stone stronghold hidden deep in the white desert of Baltigo. We enter a dim war room, filled with maps, commanders, and wanted posters.
At the center stands Sabo, now in his early 20s, in his long coat and goggles, arms crossed, intense.
Posters on the wall:
“Kai the Rogue Star – 88 Million”
“Ace – 750 Million”
“Koby – Marine Iron Fist”
Koala (walking in):
“There’s been another Celestial Dragon shipment… slaves, again.”
Sabo (clenched fists):
“They never stop, do they? Then neither will I.”
[Flashback – Young Sabo Watching the Grey Terminal Burn]
Sabo’s memory flashes:
The fire.
The Celestial Dragon’s ship.
The helpless screams.
Sabo (voice-over):
“I don’t need a Devil Fruit. I need my hands. These hands… are for breaking chains.”
[Scene – Night Operation: Dressrosa]
A slave convoy is moving through a forested path near Dressrosa — protected by CP-2 agents and a Warlord-affiliated mercenary group called The Iron Chain Fangs.
Mission: Intercept the convoy, rescue the slaves, vanish without a trace.
Revolutionary Squad:
Sabo
Koala
Hack (fishman martial artist)
⚔️ STEALTH COMBAT: SABO VS. THE CHAIN FANGS ⚔️
In the dark, a convoy moves silently... until:
WHAM!
A masked mercenary gets grabbed from the shadows — KO instantly by a chop to the neck.
Sabo moves like a ghost:
No sound.
No fruit.
Just raw martial arts and Observation Haki.
Fight Highlights:
Sabo grabs a spiked chain mid-swing and pulls the enemy in, kneeing him in the chest so hard he spits blood.
Armament Haki covers Sabo’s arms — he punches through steel shields, disabling CP-2 agents.
A CP-2 assassin uses shave (soru) to appear behind Sabo. He’s blocked instantly.
Sabo (calm):
“I saw that coming five seconds ago.”
Elbow strike. KO.
[Scene – The Warlord Mercenary Appears]
A towering beast of a man steps from the shadows — Kruge the Shackler, bounty: 490 million. He’s a Devil Fruit user, controlling liquid steel, and can form chains and blades at will.
Kruge:
“You’re not even a Devil Fruit user. You think fists can beat a god?”
Sabo (cracking knuckles):
“I’ve broken gods before.”
⚔️ FULL FIGHT: SABO VS. KRUUGE ⚔️
Kruge launches liquid steel chains, trying to bind Sabo.
Sabo flips over, sliding beneath them, then jumps off a tree, spinning kick enhanced with Haki.
Steel blades form a dome of death, but Sabo rips through with twin Armament punches, shattering metal.
Kruge:
“What are you?!”
Sabo:
“A Revolutionary.”
Final Blow:
Sabo launches into the air with a Fishman Karate palm assist from Hack.
“DRAGON CLAW BARRAGE!”
He drops a rapid flurry of Haki-enhanced claw strikes, denting Kruge’s steel armor and smashing him into the ground.
[Scene – Aftermath]
Slaves are freed. Koala hugs the children. Sabo looks up at the stars.
Koala (quietly):
“You okay?”
Sabo:
“I saw Ace’s new bounty. He’s burning a trail across the seas…”
(He grips his pipe weapon tightly.)
Sabo:
“…and one day, I’ll stand beside him again. But first, we tear this world down.”
[Final Scene – World Government War Room]
Five elders look at a live image of Sabo from a hidden Den Den Mushi.
Elder 1:
“Still no Devil Fruit, but he’s more dangerous than ever.”
Elder 2:
“Prepare Cipher Pol 0. Next time he shows up… eliminate him.”
