Series Title: The Rogue Star
Episode 7: “Winds of Departure”
[Opening Scene – Red Hawk Village Cliffside, Sunset Years Later]
The sky is painted in golden hues as the wind brushes gently through the trees. Kai stands on the cliffside, watching the sea glisten. His body has grown leaner and stronger—his eyes filled with fire.
Narrator (Kai’s voice):
“Time... it changes everything. But some dreams never fade.”
[Flashback Montage – Years of Training]
Sabo (now 17) masters the staff arts. His reflexes are sharp, his movements graceful and calculated.
Ace (16) is fierce, his punches powerful, his will indomitable.
Kai (14) stretches and strikes with precision—his rubber body now a weapon of its own.
[Red Hawk Village Dock – Day of Departure]
Sabo loads a small but solid wooden boat—“The Dawn Hawk”—that he built himself years ago, now finally complete and sturdy.
Amara watches, tears in her eyes but pride on her face. She hugs Sabo tightly.
Amara (softly):
“Don’t lose yourself out there.”
Sabo (smiling):
“I won’t. I’ll find my truth… and make it mean something.”
He turns to Ace and Kai, standing nearby.
Sabo:
“When you're strong enough—come find me. The world is waiting.”
He boards his boat. As the sails rise, Sabo looks back once more, waving.
Ace (clenching fists):
“I’ll get stronger. I swear it.”
Kai (nodding):
“Wait for me, Sabo.”
Sabo disappears into the horizon, a new journey beginning.
[Mountain Clearing – Ace’s Final Training with Garros]
A quiet mountaintop. The wind howls. Garros and Ace stand facing each other.
Garros (smirking):
“One last round. Let’s see if you’ve really got what it takes.”
Ace:
“I’ve been waiting for this.”
Their spar begins:
Garros strikes low, Ace blocks and counters.
Garros leaps into the air, twisting his body mid-strike.
Ace’s fire aura begins to glow, controlled and refined.
They clash fists, a shockwave exploding through the mountain top.
Both fall back, breathing heavily.
Garros (nodding):
“You’re ready.”
[Ace’s Departure – One Day Before His 17th Birthday]
Ace walks down the beach, dragging a boat named “The Flame Drift”—handcrafted by Amara when he was young, now upgraded and sealed by him.
Kai walks beside him.
Kai (quietly):
“So this is it?”
Ace (smirking):
“Yeah. I’m gonna find Sabo… and maybe even that captain with the red coat.”
Kai:
“Don’t die, okay?”
Ace:
“You too, rubberhead.”
They fist bump. Ace boards his boat, sails rising with the morning sun.
Kai (shouting):
“I’ll be right behind you!”
Ace waves, vanishing into the horizon.
[Kai’s Solitude – Training Alone]
Now alone at 14, Kai stays in the deep jungle, far from the village.
He fights beasts, stretches his body around trees, launches himself from cliffs.
He trains under waterfalls, balancing with one leg while doing pushups with the other.
He practices dodging arrows blindfolded—Rek occasionally shows up to fire them with speed.
At night, he lights a campfire and reads old notes left by Sabo and Ace.
Kai (gritting teeth):
“I will catch up. I will surpass them.”
[Closing Scene – Cliffside Once More]
Kai stands on the same cliff he once watched Sabo from. He’s taller now. Stronger. Scars on his arms, confidence in his eyes.
He stares at the sea.
Kai (to himself):
“Just a little longer. I’ll be ready.”
