Jungkook couldn’t help it sometimes and Jimin had enough; Jimin started to have doubt about the relationship. He didn’t doubt the love that Jungkook had for him or the one he had for Jungkook but sometimes love wasn’t everything in the relationship; Jimin was frustrated that whenever he had a peaceful moment with his boyfriend, something came and ruined it for him, he was supposed to be the mature one in the relationship but he often wanted to be childish and got mad too; he wanted his man to trust him, he had never done anything that would lead him to doubt his faithfulness, the tattoo wasn’t something that it could be his fault

Jungkook couldn’t help it; he loved Jimin, he was someone that did things to their extreme; he loved deeply and madly and he also hated furiously. He walked to the café to put the application that he could have done without; he had been working those past two years, it was a sure job for him, but he was running from that situation; he wasn’t expecting Jimin to say that the tattoo was meant for his ex and not any ex; it was Yoongi

The rest of the day Jungkook avoided people as much as possible; they kept congratulating and cheering him and he didn’t feel right about it, as for Jimin, he stayed in his room sore and hurt; Hoseok called him and he didn’t hide what it happened; he told him about the tattoo and how Jungkook just stormed out of the room, Hoseok told Tae who went straight to Jungkook scolding him for doing that but Jungkoook just took the scolding calmly and he didn’t even defend himself or talk about it and that only drove Tae crazy

Tae went to Jimin to comfort him that night and told him that Jungkook could be a coward when faced with challenges about the heart but he cared and he would beat himself about it after

Jimin didn’t know what he should do next; he couldn’t apologize because he didn’t see the need to it; the tattoo was before anything and it wasn’t even a romantic thing with his ex, he knew that Jungkook was stubborn *** and he wouldn’t just come to him, he knew that but at that moment he cared less about it; he was going to be as stubborn as him if not more, he would be childlike and avoid the whole thing…..like someone he knew

The rest of the week was dull and uneventful; Jungkook and Tae got back to their café job, and normal classes and the same went for Jimin; he didn’t try to contact Jungkook whatsoever, he didn’t even call or text him since that day, he was having hard time restraining himself from doing that but that was all for the long run, for a better and healthy relationship if Jungkook still wanted one

“So what are you now?” asked Tae

“I don’t know,” said Jungkook shortly avoiding looking at his friend; he had been so harsh on him about what he did and he knew that he partially deserved it, but whenever the subject of Jimin was brought in, he dodged it

“Who is supposed to know then, if both of you are acting like this??” asked Tae irritated; both of those boys were giving him a headache with their attitude, and there he was at the café serving people with a fake smile for the first time; their relationship seemed to affect him more that Hoseok was starting to get worried,

Tae somehow felt responsible about that; he believed that all those fuckup relationships that he had been through had created an unsecure, scared of love and defensive ***-hole best friend; Jungkook stopped believing in the true love after all those unsuccessful love relationships that Tae went through that he started considering anything romantic as fake, corny and straight out of a Disney movie and had nothing to do with real life

“Drop it hyung” said Jungkook putting the tray on the counter; whenever he called Tae hyung it only meant that the issue in hands was serious

“None of your business” said Jungkook coldly trying to get away from her but she followed him holding her drink

“All the sunbaes said that you’re fighting; they have not seen you two together after that stunt you did at the Dance dept” said the girl not bothered by the cold treatment; knowing her sunbae’s reputation, she came to get use to it

“Again, thanks for being a great client, visit often” said Jungkook formally

“I heard that Min Yoongi was hanging out with him all this week” whispered the girl to him when he gave her his back; he tensed but she was so engrossed in herself to notice

“Kookie!!!!” cried a voice that Jungkook missed a lot that he didn’t even mind the use of the pet name in public, he turned quickly to find Jimin giving him his dazzling smile that Jungkook couldn’t help but beamed at it

“I’m soo sooorry; I know I’m a bad boyfriend” said Jimin cutely while hugging Jungkook tightly for someone who wasn’t just friends with the man hugging; he saw how Jungkook was struggling to shake off that girl and he decided to save his *** even though he was still mad at him;  the truth to be told, he missed him so damn much

“Oh, hi” stuttered Jungkook not catching up to the act; he was flustered when suddenly things escaladed quickly, he could hear that girl squealed near them

“From now on, I’m yours” said Jimin raising his pinky to give a pinky promise

“Oh hi there!” said Jimin pretending that he had just see her

“Oh hi!!!” said the girl shyly retreating away from them but she still observed them as if she sensed the tension

“That week of practicing was a living hell; I saw my reflection in the studio more than I wished for” whined Jimin continuing with the act

“The pressure of FaceOff must be hard” commented Jungkook after recovering from the shock

“Yeah; I mean I know it’s still a month away but you how we the Bangtan tend to get things perfect” said Jimin then he dragged Jungkook to the corridor where the staff’s room was; anyone would assume that they were heading for a hot make out session but the couple knew better

“Thanks” said Jungkook resting on the wall facing Jimin who was doing the same on the other wall

“I need to talk to you” said Jimin seriously that Jungkook wished that perky Jimin was there; he wouldn’t even care if he called him babe or Kookie, as long as he smiled at him; serious Jimin was no fun and scary

“I’m tired of waiting for what next so tell me; I know that if I had to wait for your stubborn *** I might never get to be with you in the same place; so tell me: what do you want me to do so we can pass this?” said Jimin looking at Jungkook who was just lost of words

“You have to say something Jungkook” added Jimin curtly

“I don’t know” said Jungkook honestly and he wasn’t lying; at least he knew that much, seeing the tattoo wasn’t something he wanted but at the same time he didn’t know how he should make Jimin feel what he was feeling about the whole thing

“Then who should know then? I love you and I only want to be with you, no Yoongi not some hot girl or boy. I love you and I want you; that tattoo had nothing to do with any romantic notion; I was trying to help a friend who was in distress” said Jimin softly

“Who happened to be someone you loved and dated” added Jungkook

“Well I loved him; I am not denying that, but I am not with him anymore; him being in my life has nothing to do with you or us. You have Yura noona and I’m fine with it; she once used to be intimate with you too” said Jimin still softly, he wanted to be as calm as he could afford

“Well I have Yura in my life but I never loved her or have a tattoo for her even if we were close and …” said Jungkook aggressively

“Well what am I supposed to do? Huh? Apologize for doing the whole thing the right way??? Should I say I’m sorry for actually dating the one that I loved and not just use him as a **** buddy?” said Jimin with the same amount of aggression

“Don’t talk about her like that!!! She has nothing to do with this” said Jungkook

“and neither does Yoongi hyung; you’re the one that degraded her by using her like that; she must really cares for you to be around after all what you’ve done; I loved Yoongi hyung; LOVED….  Now I love you; only you” said Jimin closing the distance between him and Jungkook who just abruptly snapped and grabbed Jimin by the his collar

“Don’t ever fucking say something like that about Yura and I; you don’t know shit. And I never loved before, so excuse me if the first one I love can’t see what I feel” said Jungkook spitting venom while still holding to Jimin’s collar which only caused Jimin to grab his wrists and pushing him on the wall

“And how that supposed to make me feel? Huh? You talking about the shit I don’t know about you two??? Why is it only ok when you voiced your worries? I am scared too you know” said Jimin his face so close to Jungkook who was just frozen; Jimin never used that kind rough treatment toward him

“I’m out of here; call me when you figure that the world doesn’t only revolve around your fears” said Jimin fixing his shirt and passing the stunned Tae who could see that Jimin was fuming and he knew why soon enough when Jungkook appeared looking equally upset

“Kookie? What happened?” whispered Tae closing the distance between them

“Can I leave?” asked Jungkook weakly

“Only if you talk to Jin hyung about it” said Tae

“Fine” said Jungkook throwing his apron and heading out
