It took Jungkook a minute to register what it just happened; Jimin walked away from a date because he was jealous and insecure about Jungkook, whereas Jungkook always believed that he was the one that loved Jimin more and he was putting his all in the relationship but apparently they needed to talk to solve their issues  

“Hey Jungkook, where is Jimin? Did I take long with your orders?” said Jinyoung carrying the tray full of food

“Well, hyung could you wrap it up for me; it seems that my boyfriend woke up from the wrong side of the bed today” said Jungkook absentminded  

“You two are dating?” exclaimed Jinyoung

“Why? Is not it obvious?” asked Jungkook back

“Well not really; you suck at showing your emotions and that’s why we broke up in the first place” said Jinyoung laughing, Jungkook glared at him but Jinyoung just shrugged and headed to the kitchen to wrap their meal

Jungkook paid for the food and left in a fast pace to his grumpy Jimin

“What took you so long? Catching up with the old flame” sneered Jimin the moment Jungkook set foot in the car

“Not really I asked them to wrap up the food for us” said Jungkook monotone; he wasn’t planning on being petty and fight him when they just started seeing each other

“The food is not the problem now” said Jimin seriously and a little upset by the indifferent attitude of Jungkook

“Well no one says no to food” reminded Jungkook smiling at Jimin who found himself in dilemma between staying upset or smile at the cheekiness of his boyfriend

“So what did you tell Jinyoung when he didn’t find me there?” asked Jimin when his boyfriend handed him his sealed container from the restaurant

“Well I told him my boyfriend woke up from the wrong side of the bed” said Jungkook nonchalant but he was stealing glances from his left side to see Jimin’s reaction

“I woke up from the wrong side my ass…” started Jimin chewing his food but then he let his Jungkook’s words sank in for a while, he dropped the container on his lap and turned to him

“Did you just say boyfriend?” asked Jimin eyes sparkling brightly that Jungkook felt like a jerk for taking that cheeriness from him

“I am sorry, if I’ve ever made you feel unimportant in my life” said Jungkook smiling reaching to place his hand on Jimin’s

“I’m sorry for overreacting; I just can’t think straight when I feel like I may lose you to someone else” said Jimin squeezing his hand

“We just got together; we are supposed to be in our lovey dovey phase not being taken away by others” chuckled Jungkook

“I’m pathetic, right?” asked Jimin

“You’re not, I love you; it was love at first sight for me; when I first served you your black coffee when you were with Hoseok hyung. I know I am not a talkative person and I’m not used to talk about emotions and feelings but know that I really l…” said Jungkook; it was surprising even to him how much he talked in one statement

“What you just said is more than enough; I love you more and I will make sure that you’re always happy with me; you don’t need to change yourself or make yourself uncomfortable just to please me; just be you” said Jimin putting their food on the back seat and hugged Jungkook tightly

“So what’s your plan for the rest of the date Mr. Park?” teased Jungkook when they were at the beach parking lot; he had an intuition that Jimin wanted to take him to the beach to enjoy the sun and the beautiful sea and had an excuse to get rid of some clothes

“Well I am thinking since you’re near to get you’re driving license, so I thought I would teach you how to drive and this wide parking lot is the suitable place for it” said Jimin pulling the car on the quietest era of the parking

“That’s new for a date” said Jungkook amazed

“You thought I would take you to the beach, right? Well I don’t feel comfortable with people seeing my hot boyfriend the same time as me, I like my privacy with you first that’s way” teased Jimin and Jungkook smiled

“So are you really going to let me drive your car?” said Jungkook changing the subject that would only made him blush hard

“Yeah, but be careful my baby is sensitive” said Jimin patting the dashboard

“Baby? What am I then?” said Jungkook teasingly

“You’re my Kookie and this could be your baby too; our baby” said Jimin

“I am not ready for this type of commitment just yet; we just start dating officially” denied Jungkook the offer

“Little brat; let’s just get to it” said Jimin climbing off the car

Only 30 min pasted and the couple were already at it; Jungkook jumped of the car closing a door a little too rough walking away from Jimin; it was funny that they managed in their first date with Jimin stormed off the restaurant and Jungkook leaving the car in the middle of his driving lesson

“Kookie wait” cried Jimin after the pouty boyfriend; Jungkook went and sat on the bench ignoring him

“Come on! I am sorry, I didn’t mean to yell at you, it’s been a while since I taught anyone driving” said Jimin sitting next him but he just ignored him

“Well I don’t appreciate that I have to hear that I am slow for wedging the car more than a normal person would do ; well it is my first time behind the wheel, I have the right to mess up hundred times, plus it was your idea to give me the  lesson” said Jungkook icily; he hated it when someone saw him failing something, it was a pride thing with him, even if that person was Jimin

“You’re right; I was wrong, soo sorry; let’s have ice cream, I am paying” said Jimin nudging him on the side

“Hey! Stop it, what? Ice cream? Are we five?” said Jungkook holding his stern face but Jimin kept tickling him

“Ice cream is for all ages Kookie” said Jimin continuing his tickling attack

“Fine fine, stop please” laughing Jungkook and trashing like crazy

“Good. Now let’s go” said Jimin standing up and putting his hand on his hip so Jungkook would lock his arm with his which Jungkook did gladly; that was the scene that made it look they were newly dating

“This is nice; why can’t we pull of the newly couple look?” said Jungkook while locking arms with Jimin and intertwining their fingers

“I told you we are one of kind; others are boring, our relationship is spicy” said Jimin

“Again with spice” mumbled Jungkook but Jimin didn’t hear him, he was happy to be that close to Jungkook that anything else seemed insignificant

They had their ice cream in the car and it was fun watching Jimin freaking out when Jungkook teased him by pretending to drop his con on the car’s seat, Jimin endured the teasing awaiting for Jungkook to finish his ice cream, and once the last bite was in Jungkook’s mouth, Jimin dragged him to him and Jungkook was so taken aback to react; he found himself sitting on Jimin’s lap

“What the?” Jungkook breath hitched

“Well not so tough now huh? You think it is funny treating my baby like this?” smirked Jimin at his boyfriend’s blank expression

“What can I do when I am jealous of her?” pouted Jungkook evilly, he was not as flustered as Jimin thought he would be; although the blush was visible in his cheeks, he still looked composed. He started moving his plump bottom stimulatingly down Jimin’s hardness

“Oh Kookie!” warned Jimin holding his hips to stop him

“Why did bring me here in the first place then?” asked Jungkook when he couldn’t move due to Jimin’s strong grip

“To kiss you, but it looks like someone is horny” said Jimin trailing kisses on Jungkook’s neck, Jungkook leaned back to give him more access but it was a mistake; he accidently press on the car horn that was located on the wheel

“Damn! We’re really nor cute or sexy like newly couples” chuckled Jimin when Jungkook jumped off his lap to his seat at the loud car horn

“Yeah, let’s just go home” said Jimin starting the engine     

“Which home?” asked Jungkook

“Mine; mom wants to see you and it is only fair that you do that since I saw yours” said Jimin

“How could you suddenly decide that? You should have asked me first” said Jungkook panicking

“Relax; it is just mom, she is cool. The only reason I hastened the meeting is because she is leaving with my younger brother to summer camp” said Jimin

“Well we could have met her when she comes back” said Jungkook

“She is staying with him; she volunteered and since she is a school teacher, it was already perfect because she is good with teens” explained Jimin

“Your dongsaeng must hate it” said Jungkook feeling still nervous

“You have no idea; he is supposed to be the man of the family since I’m in Seoul, and he took the position seriously, but she just burst his bubble, because for mom and I, he is still a kid” said Jimin laughing

“I feel him; my brother Junghyun still thinks I am six” said Jungkook empathizing with Jimin’s brother

“Well you and Jihyun will click just fine; he is a senior in high school that’s why he is leaving for camp; to choose the perfect university; he is somehow like you, cold but cute. I think it is a thing about the 97er” said Jimin and they were already next the house

“You mean cool and awesome” scoffed Jungkook

“Sure, now let’s go” said Jimin removing his key from the ignition

“What?  We are already here? You managed to distract me” said Jungkook looking at the cozy house in front of him; it looked big and homey

“Just imagine the other things I can distract you from feeling nervous or scared about” whispered Jimin suggestively

“Really Jimin? When I am in front of your door you decided to bring that up?” said Jungkook glaring at him but he just ignored him and unlocked the door

“Welcome home” announced Jimin

“Mom! Your ungrateful son is home and he brought his boyfriend” cried Jihyun not bothering to budge from his place; he was sitting on the sofa watching T.V in the living room that was located near the house entrance

“Brat! Come here” said Jimin tackling his brother with headlock, they wrestled with each other leaving Jungkook rooted in his place awkwardly

“Sometimes I wondered if he actually past puberty” said a voice near him and he jumped a little to see a short thin cute woman with a bob brown hair

“Hi, nice to meet you; I am Jeon Jungkook” said Jungkook formally bowing to Jimin’s mother

“nice to meet you too Jungkook, but please nothing formal in this house” said Jimin’s mother hugging the flustered boy

“Yeah, I heard we are the same age even though you’re my university sunbae” said Jihyun after freeing himself from Jimin walking toward Jungkook to shake his hand

“Just call me Jungkook” said Jungkook shaking his hand

“Well, I am amazed that my brother has someone like you; I mean seriously is it some kind of a bet or something for you?” said Jihyun pretending to speak in a lower voice but he knew his brother was behind him, that earned him a smack on the back of his head

“I’m being soft with you huh? You’re all arrogant and disrespectable; good thing mom is going with you” said Jimin

They sat on the living room; Jimin next to Jungkook, Jihyun in front of them and his mother couch on the side

“Well I am not the only one who needs a babysitter; Minah noona is staying with you while we’re gone” teased Jihyun

“What? Minah noona? Why?” asked Jimin his mother

“Don’t listen to him; it is not about not trusting you with the house, it is just that Minah’s mom is going to the same trip as us with her daughter Heyri so we thought one empty house is better than two lonely houses” defended Jimin’s mom glaring at her younger’s son

“But why? I am fine being lonely beside I will be with Jungkook most of the time” complained Jimin

“Well I didn’t know you’re dating him till yesterday and by then the plan was already set so quite whining” said Jimin’s mom firmly but a little uneasiness in her voice   

“Fine” huffed Jimin

“So what do you major in Jungkook?” asked Jimin’s mother trying to lighten up the awkward mood

“fine art; next year will be my third year” said Jungkook steadily; it was like he was in some sort of interview, stiff and shy; he wished he could be like Jimin was with his mother but that wasn’t him, if anyone saw him would think he was arrogant and cold hearted, he just wished Jimin told his family about him beforehand

“Oh you must be a gift student to be on the third year already” said Jihyun

“Sort of; I skip a grade in high school and I was accepted in the early program” said Jungkook shyly but friendly; like Jimin, Jihyun gave off the friendly vibe that made people comfortable

“Which takes us back to my question; what did you see in him?” asked Jihyun winking at Jungkook while Jimin was staring at his boyfriend instead of him

“Good question, I have not found the right answer yet” said Jungkook calmly that Jimin was surprised but the two boys soon broke in laughter

“You two being together isn’t a good idea” shook Jimin his head

“But in all honesty Jimin is an amazing dancer; he is blessed with a gift too” said Jungkook smiling and Jimin beamed at the statement; it was rare for Jungkook to praise him

“I don’t see how popping and locking are amazing” disagreed Jihyun but his mom knew that they were starting one of those long tiring round of their nonsensical bickering

“You’re right; locking your head and popping some of your bones is more amazing than dancing” said Jimin

“Not again you two; I thought I was already done with puberty but then again your father had his moment like this too, I guess it is a Park thing” sighed Jimin’s mom smiling her beautiful smile that Jungkook knew where her son got his killer smile from

“Anyway; when is Minah noona coming?” asked Jimin

“She will be here soon; since we leaving at dawn” informed Jimin’s mom

“I will go finish packing, you make yourself home Jungkook; and you two behave” added Jimin’s mom walking to her room to prepare her stuff for the trip

“I missed her; it’s been a while since I saw her” said Jimin thoughtfully

“She got really hot hyung; she cut her hair short and dyed it back black” said Jihyun dreamingly

“Someone has a crash” teased Jimin

“I don’t, beside she is way older than me; it is you who is into dating noonas” said Jiyun throwing his brother off the bus in front of his newly boyfriend who just looked at him with unreadable expression

“She is not my type” said Jimin defensively glaring at his brother then turned to gave Jungkook an assuring squeeze in his hand

“I wasn’t your type at first too” said Jungkook and Jimin didn’t know whether his boyfriend was joining his brother in teasing him or if he was serious; Jungkook was wearing that blank mask that Jimin still had trouble deciphering

“Wow!!! Did I start a drama?” cut in Jihyun playfully, he butt in the conversation on purpose; he didn’t want them to fight over that and he saw that Jimin was about opened his mouth and said more shit that would get him only in more trouble

“What drama? I thought we’re teasing Jimin” said Jungkook to Jihyun after giving Jimin an intense stare that Jimin had no clue what it meant

“Good, because my brother got all sappy and romantic when he is begging for mercy or apologizing; it is not a scene I’d like to witness” said Jihyun

“Jihyun you’re not getting your allowance for the camp from me this year” stated Jimin with his 'a big brother scary aura' while standing up and headed to the kitchen

“I will get us something to drink” added Jimin looking at Jungkook with that aura still lingering around him and it made Jungkook feel things, he just nodded to him affirmatively

“He really loves you; he never let us see the people he dates; even that last rapper; my mom kept bugging him to let her talk to him through the phone but he refused” said Jihyun with a lower voice because the kitchen was on the other side of the house but they could be heard if they raised their voices

“Aren't you just doing this just to get your allowance?” said Jungkook teasingly but he felt warm to the fact that Yoongi wasn’t introduced to Jimin’s family

“Nah; he will give it to me eventually; he just like to be stern and firm with me, but at the end of the day, he is the sweetest hyung there is….” Trailed Jihyun off; he felt like he said too much

“Hey if you tell him any of this you’re dead” threatened Jihyun

“Relax, I won’t tell him; it nice to know he cared about his family” said Jungkook assuring

“Well after dad died, he made it his mission that we are fine” admitted Jihyun

“You can’t beat me; I am the king of games” said Jungkook suddenly that  that made Jihyun averted his eyes from the T.V to looked at Jungkook questioningly  

“Hey no games; Kookie is mine for today” said Jimin coming back from the kitchen, Jihyun turned to find his brother holding a tray full of snacks and drinks

“Obsessive much” said Jihyun quickly then he turned to Jungkook to mouthed ‘thank you’ before his brother reached them

“Very; he is mine” said Jimin putting the tray in table and turning to give a crashing hug that Jungkook didn’t have a choice but to play along with it regardless the fact that Jihyun was there

“Your brother is here” whispered Jungkook in Jimin’s ear

“So what? I am not allow to hug you in front family or people?” said Jimin breaking the hug but he was still holding him

“It is just that I …” stuttered Jungkook

“Hyung!!! Stop with the PDA; I am still here and I forget to tell you mom or should I say noona set some rules for her to be here with you” said Jihyun and it was his turn to save Jungkook’s *** because Jimin turned aggressively toward his brother when he heard of the existence of rules

“What rules?” asked Jimin

“Easy here hyung! It is not me who set them; beside I just heard mother saying that she wished things won’t get complicated with you and Minah over them” said Jihyun

“That’s so noona” huffed Jimin going back to sit comfortably next his boyfriend

“Who missed me” cried a cute bubbly voice that sounded like a teenager; the boys were watching T.V and snacking when the bell rang so Jihyun went to open knowing that it should be Minah

“No one, just leave” cried Jimin from his place

“Oh Jiminie is here?” said Minah walking to the living room, Jimin met her half way

“Hi there, it’s been a while” said Jimin doing the jazzy hands which she did the same; Jungkook knew that it must be some of their inside jokes, but at least she didn’t hug him or kiss him so Jungkook  was fine with that weird hands wave. He had all the right to feel jealous or worried, Minah was shorter than Jimin and cute and bubbling and like Jihyun said sexy; it was like looking at Jimin doppelganger

“Oh hi there; you must be Jungkook” said Minah still with that cheerful voice that made Jungkook uneasy because he didn’t know how to react to it, he was already having hard time dealing with his bright and sunshine of boyfriend, he didn’t need another

“Hi, yes; and you must be Minah noona” said Jungkook

“Oh, you already told him about me; nothing bad I hope because I can make both of them crying for mercy from the dirt I have on them” said Minah eyeing both boys who flinched

“We weren’t; Jihyun just told me something about rules” said Jimin

“Before that, would you be a dear and bring my bags; they’re in the car’s trunk” interrupted Minah looking at Jihyun handing him the keys, Jihyun just nodded and left to get her things

“Now; what were we saying?” said Minah sitting in the couch

“Rules” repeated Jimin

“Yes rules; no boyfriends after 10p.m, same goes for me; and you’re not allow to spend a night outside” stated Minah and Jimin was boiling with every word coming out of her mouth

“Hell no!” cried Jimin out loud

“What did I miss?!” asked Jihyun entering carrying Minah’s bags

“Just the rules we are supposed to follow” said Minah calmly in comparison to Jimin

“MOM!!!” yelled Jimin

“What’s wrong? What did I tell you two about yelling?” said Jimin’s mother running toward the living room  

“I don’t agree of the rules” said Jimin shortly and firmly crossing his arms around his chest

“Hi Minah, I told you” said Jimin’s mother ignoring her fuming son and hugged Minah; raising two boys must teach her how to be patient

“Well, he will have to deal with it” said Minah laughing

“No, mom I think two lonely houses are better than this; I don’t want her here” said Jimin coldly and Minah for the first time since she entered the house had her smile fell

“Don’t listen to him, he is just rebelling, you know how the boys are” said Jimin’s mother and if stares killed Jimin would have been death by now

“I think I should leave; it is getting late anyway” said Jungkook breaking that awkward thick tension

“See what you did?” said Jimin still upset

“Stop it Jimin! Jungkook just give me a min to solve this because in way it concerns you too” said Jimin’s mom softly looking at Jungkook with pleading eyes so he just nodded at her smiling

“Compromise” said Jimin’s mother

“I can’t compromise with anything; there will be times when I want to sleep at his place or any other friend’s place and of course I am not kicking out my boyfriend just because she said so” said Jimin and man! Jungkook thought he was the only one stubborn

“what about you get Jungkook for a night a week and you’re allow another night outside home” proposed Jimin’s mother pleadingly at both parties who looked like they were at boxing ring ready to pounce

“Fine with me” started Minah after a thoughtful moment, Jimin looked still not convinced but when Jungkook squeezed his arm to look at his pleading eyes to go with it

“Fine! But I choose the days, now I’m taking Kookie home” said Jimin grabbing Jungkook’s hand and walking out the house not even giving Jungkook a chance to say goodbye properly

“Hey stop!” said Jungkook yanking his hand away from Jimin’s grip

“I can’t believe she would do that to me” mumbled Jimin heading to the car not even aware of his boyfriend who stood in front of car waiting for his attention

“Are you done yet?” asked Jungkook when Jimin finally looked at him when he was about to open the car’s door

“Sorry Kookie; she really got on my nerves sometimes” said Jimin apologetically

“It’s ok, let’s just go” said Jungkook climbing in the car

They drove in uneasy silence where Jimin didn’t know what Jungkook was thinking and same for Jungkook

“I’ll call later tonight ok” said Jungkook when he was leaving the car

“Yeah, I will be waiting” said Jimin and he didn’t do as he would always do; grabbed Jungkook’s arm and kissed him passionately and Jungkook was slightly disappointed; he acted like he didn’t like it but he always anticipated it

It had been a day since they were officially dating and so far they managed to do whatever couples did in a month of relationship; flirting, fighting, consoling, yelling at each other but somehow no one of them were surprised at that; they knew from the beginning that they weren’t like any other couples out there
