After Jimin dropped Jungkook at his house, Jungkook walked with heavy steps to the house; the tension he felt at Jimin’s home was intense, plus Jimin was indifferent with him even though none of that was his fault, he smiled at the fact that he wanted his boyfriend’s full attention even when the said boyfriend had stuff in his mind

“Where is your phone? I have been calling you all day and not just me” said Jungkook’s mom the moment she heard the front door unlocked

“Well how are you too mom?” said Jungkook walking to the kitchen to find his parents already on the table ready to start dinner

“Don’t be cheeky with me; I was worried, next time you have a date don’t sneak to it and tell me if I should wait or not” scolded Jungkook’s mom

“I’m sorry; I put it on silent mode and I forgot to check it” said Jungkook lowering his head while sitting on his chair facing no one for his parents sat facing each other on his both side

“So, when do I get to meet him? Or is he not special yet?” asked his father breaking the awkward silence

“huh?... well he is….” Stuttered Jungkook; he wasn’t ready for his dad’s interrogation about his private life; he wasn’t that opened to his father to talk freely about personal matters, like he was with his mother who found it ironic because both of those men were alike; cold and firm from the outside but caring and gentle in the inside, they both kept to themselves, reserved and didn’t like to talk unless it was necessary, the only reason his father asked was because Jungkook’s mom insisted that he should get more involved in his son’s life

“I will tell what; since it is still recent, don’t bring him to me unless you feel like he is someone you see yourself building a future with” stopped his father his son poor attempt to come up with an excuse

“Ok” said Jungkook lowly

“By the way Tae called” added Jungkook’s mother trying to change the subject although she was the one who proposed it in the first place

“Oh!!! I am dead” said Jungkook suddenly fetching his phone

“Actually that was his message to you, she said “tell him to call me and he is dead”” confirmed his mother

Jungkook didn’t require more from his mother, he hastily fetched his phone from his pocket to find five calls from Tae, ten calls from his mother and one call from Jimin

He started panicking when he found that only Jimin sent him a message telling him to call when he was free, but Tae didn’t send any messages he knew that only meant one thing; he was pissed off. When Tae was upset at something Jungkook did or tried to reach him for something important but found out that he ignored his calls, he wouldn’t leave him any voice messages or texts

“I am in trouble, if you excuse me I will try to tame the beast” said Jungkook running to his room

“Hello soul mate” said Jungkook the moment Tae picked up, he closed his room’s door behind him and rested on his bed

“shut up you asshole” said Tae coldly

“I’m sorry Tae, I really am; I was going to call you and tell you everything but…” started Jungkook pleading

“Save it; you could have found time if you wanted” said Tae still with an upset tone

“Trust me Tae I was busy; it’s only been two days since we started seeing each other; he came yesterday to the restaurant and we talked then mom started teasing so in order to run away from them both I went to dad’s work and I didn’t finish till late at night, then today mom dragged me to work at the restaurant_ thanks to you by the way; they want me to be as responsible as you_ so anyway I had to sneak out to meet Jimin for a date but we got into an argument then we talked our issues like adults do. He took to meet his family then some  things happened there then when I returned mom told me you called and since my phone was in silent mode I didn’t hear but I called the moment I got a chance; I even left the dinner table for you” explained Jungkook what it felt like a dramatic monologue or court plea

“Wow; you accept him in the first go!” commented Tae and Jungkook breathed in relief but also chuckled that was all that caught his attention from that long speech

“Well he explained everything and how he went to you, he said he loved me and my mother and the stuffs adored him” said Jungkook shyly and Tae was amazed how the bad boy turned this sensitive and sweet talking about the one he loved

“That’s refreshing; I thought you would drag his *** around a little bit; you’re losing your touch Kookie” teased Tae

“I was planning to but that only got us in an argument and quite frankly I don’t like playing games especially with him since he is so straightforward about what he wants” admitted Jungkook remembering all boyfriend in probation thing

“So did you do it?” asked Tae curiously

“Oh my God we just started seeing each other why would everyone assume we will jump right to it” grumbled Jungkook

“Well you’ve been undressing him with your eyes the moment you met him and he was too, even though he was too oblivious to realize it” said Tae simply

“Well we didn’t, beside it is a fussy thing apparently because he said he wants to top and there was no way in hell I’m letting him” said Jungkook

“Why not?” asked Tae

“Well because I also want to top as simple as that”

“What are you five?” asked Tae shaking his head in disapproval 

“No but he knew damn well how stubborn I am but he dared to challenge me” said Kookie

“Kookie? Would you stop for a minute and answer me this” said Tae seriously

“What?” asked Jungkook acting like the little kid he was

“So do you love him?” asked Tae

“Why are you asking this when you know the answer?” asked Jungkook back wondering where his friend was heading with that conversation

“Just answer me damn it” said Tae

“yes, I do” said Jungook sensing that he was talking to his hyung not Tae

“Does he love you?” asked Tae

“Yes” said Jungkook shortly

“Are you in serious exclusive relationship?” asked Tae

“Yes” said Jungkook quickly and confidently wishing the questions would stop or get somewhere

“So why the **** are you two focusing on who the hell top or bottom? It is not a fucking contest or a challenge; it is your life as a couple; would you stop obsessing about it and look back to how much you’ve been through to get where you are now? All the lows and ups, the laughs and the tears; you finally are together and you’re wasting the best of it arguing over something that it would matter if you were merely **** buddies” lectured Tae like the mature and hyung he was       

“hyung?” trialed off Jungkook thoughtfully; he had been feeling that whenever he was with Jimin; trying to prove the other wrong, fighting for dominance, who loved and cared for the other more, and who was in charge. He didn’t take time to enjoy them, simply them, and the fact that they were together; he knew that Jimin said that was them and their unique way but he also felt like he was not completely relaxed with him

“Look I know how each of you is prideful and so damn determined, but that is not how relationship works; no one is the winner if it is on the expense on your partner; win it together or don’t” finished Tae feeling a little calmer than when he started     

“I love you hyung” said Jungkook abruptly

“I don’t, I’m still mad at the fact that I heard my soul mate was finally taken from others” said Tae faking his exasperation 

“Who told you by the way? Did he call you or something?” asked Jungkook curiously because he knew for fact that both him and Jimin had their hands full this couple of days

“No; Hobi called to congratulate me but I felt so stupid that he ended up teasing me with the fact that his best friend informed him whereas my soul mate didn’t” said Tae the anger from Hoseok’s teasing still lingered

“The asshole; how could he find time? But again he didn’t have to work two jobs because his parents wants him to be more responsible” mumbled Jungkook and Tae only laughed

“So how are you and Hobi hyung? Have you seen each other at all” asked Jungkook trying to channeling his thoughts somewhere else or he would called and yelled at his boyfriend for making him look bad

“Not really? And I’m craving his touch, we only got a lousy video sex and trust me when I said internet lagging and video low quality is not helping or sexy at all” complained Tae naturally as if he was talking about the lack of hot water for his shower or the cables were driving him insane

“I thought you said he came to visit” asked Jungkook with the same amount or normalcy as if both of them were talking about games or movies

“he did and it was a mistake; we didn’t have a private time for us and my family hogged all his time, even Isuel got to ride him” said Tae whining

“Ride him, huh?” asked Jungkook; even he had some limit to Tae free and open minded

“Get your head out of the gutter no wonder people are asking you about doing it with him; you’re so horny and the sexual tension is to the roof. I mean he gave her a ride as her personal horse and now all she talked about was her Hobi oppa and how he was the best she even forgoes me” said Tae

“Well, only another month and you get to see him again; think of it as a training when he graduate” consoled Jungkook but he knew he sucked at it because he managed to remind Tae that Hoseok was graduating soon

“I know but it doesn’t mean I don’t miss him” said Tae

“God; doesn’t he stop” huffed Jungkook out of the context

“What?” asked Tae flabbergasted by the randomness of his friend

“Jiminie has been the second call for a while now but he won’t get a hint that I’m on the phone; I mean he can see it written” said Jungkook

“Are you doing it on purpose? I mean I can hang up so you can talk to him you know I don’t mind,” said Tae

“Nah; he knows that I am talking to you, I mean who else I would talk to” dismissed Jungkook

“You’re evil; come on, he is Hoseok’s friend and even if he is not as serious as Hobi but he also gets jealous easily” said Tae

“Let him then, so he could learn to not talk about us to others” said Jungkook

“he told his best friend because he was happy and excited that he got you to be with him” said Tae and Jungkook’s heart fluttered

“I’m out; I don’t want to be the reason to your bickering, it seems like you’re doing just fine without me adding more to it, goodnight and be nice and understanding” said Tae

“Fine, bye” said Jugnkook glowering   

He hanged up on Tae to receive the very next second the call from Jimin

“What?” asked Jungkook

“What? You said you’ll call, and when I do, I find you online for more than half an hour and you don’t even bother sending me a message then when you finally grace me with your voice you say ‘what’, really?” said Jimin upset; he hated when Jungkook acted all cold and indifferent when he knew that they were about to argue about something so Jimin would feel like a stupid person fussing about petty things

“It’s barely ten; the night is still young, beside I said I will call you, you didn’t have to call” said Jungkook impatiently

“Cool, so who were you talking to?” asked Jimin casually

“Why do you want to know? Just because it’s in the middle of the night you think I am…” accused Jungkook but he didn’t manage to finish his rant

“Damn it Jungkook; I just asked you, nothing behind it; we can’t have a casual conversation without being at each other throat?” asked Jimin upset by his boyfriend’s attitude

“ah… err… it was just Tae; I didn’t mean to start a fight” said Jungkook with a small voice; he remembered what Tae told him about not taking everything personal

“Well you didn’t, I just have to deal with the nuisance of having Minah home, the others left already; they said change of plans, so I was hoping I could find my boyfriend available to vent” said Jimin

“What did she do?” asked Jungkook trying to engage in a conversation and be more open and considerate to other’s feelings

“Her existence in the house itself is unbearable” sighed Jimin dramatically and Jungkook giggled at his Jimin; he was happy that whatever cold things he said to Jimin, Jimin always managed to brush it off, and that was even before they started dating

“Laugh at your lover’s misery; I thought you will be sad that we can’t spend more time together” said Jimin

“Well, I’ve never said I was spending the night at your house, but just be thankful Tae didn’t get to see Hoseok the whole summer” said Jungkook

“I guess you’re right; I called him and he complained about the quality of the video when he was getting hot and heavy with Tae” chuckled Jimin

“He told you that” said Jungkook

“of course” said Jimin lightly matter of factually

“by the way how dare tell him about us without telling me” said Jungkook remembering Tae’s call

“why? Were we keeping it from them to surprise them or something” asked Jimin

“No, it’s just if you told me you were going to tell him I would have called Tae and told him” said Jungkook pouting

“OH MY GOD!!! You didn’t tell him? He must have eaten you alive” said Jimin laughing

“You have no idea how he gets when he feels left out; I had to tell him that unlike some people I had two jobs to finish so there was no time” said Jungkook meaningfully

“it’s true that I called Hoseokie hyung when you left to your dad’s job but you could have told him after you returned” said Jimin

“I was home late from job and you kind of worn me off that night” said Jungkook but he soon smacked his hand on his mouth for sharing too much; he must have been getting sleepy and tired that he couldn’t control what he said

“What did I do now? All the world problems is because of me according to you” pouted Jimin faking innocent

“Don’t go there Jimin” warned Jungkook

“Go where? Here I am again trying to make a casual conversation but your head always took other places” reprimanded Jimin

“there is nothing casual about it and you know it so shut up or I’m hanging up” threatened Jungkook playfully

“You’re no fun” said Jimin

“Said the king of fun” teased Jungkook

“Still more fun than you” teased Jimin back

They talked for an hour but it pasted so fast that they didn’t believe it

“I think I should let you sleep” said Jimin when he heard Jungkook yawning more than twice in the sentence

“No don’t; I am fine” said Jungkook drowsily “Beside I want to ask you something” added Jungkook

“Yeah?” said Jimin

“What happened to Seoul crew’s competitions and auditions” asked Jungkook; he had been wondering what Jimin gave up for him to be here

“They’ll do without me, they were already well organized since it’d been a while since I dance with them, beside Hoseokie hyung saw me slacking and daydreaming about you and always wondering off when we’re practicing that he talked to me with the leader’s tone saying something along “Go fix your heart for you to fix your dance” it was cool I admit” said Jimin

“So did you fix your heart?” asked Jungkook and Jimin was amazed about how opened Jungkook was being about emotions and feelings

“I don’t know you, you’ve to ask my boyfriend because although he said I’m no longer in probation, I can’t tell” said Jimin cheekily

“Well I think he loves you” said Jungkook absentminded; it amazed him sometimes how things changed and Jimin was his  

“Really? Good, because tell him ‘you too’” said Jimin

“What does it mean?” asked Jungkook

“That’s what you told me when I said I love you last night; it was cute hearing you mumbled and talking incoherently. Maybe we can make it our thing; whenever one of us said I love you the other say ‘you too’” said Jimin

“Jimin you’re so cheesy” said Jungkook

“That’s romantic and it was you who said that our relationship wasn’t disgustingly romantic” remined Jimin

“But it doesn’t mean you’ve…” started Jungkook

“Kookie hold on a sec” said Jimin fidgeting in his bed and putting the phone on his pillow while resting his ear on it

“What do you want?” asked Jimin with a stern voice that Jungkook flinched and awakened because of it

“What are you talking about?” asked Jungkook

“Noona I don’t have all night; what’s wrong?” asked Jimin with the same tone ignoring Jungkook who understood that Minah must have entered his room

“Can I sleep here?”asked Minah with a weak low voice but she was close enough that even Jungkook heard her

“Why? I thought you liked the guest’s room” asked Jimin and for once Jungkook felt bad for Minah from the treatment she was getting from his boyfriend but when he processed her request he couldn’t help but feel uneasy

“I’m scared” admitted Minah shyly

“What? You’re scared?” asked Jimin

“there is a reason why my mom asked yours to let me stay with you; I can’t be alone; I got scared and I can even have a panic attack” said Minah with a tremble voice; who saw her then, he wouldn’t believe she was the same girl who enforced rules and talked proudly

“Fine; go get the airbed; it is in the storage room” said Jimin softly and Minah gave him a thankful smile and turned with heel to get it

“So I guess I will be having her in the room with me” announced Jimin

“I guess” said Jungkook

“What’s with the tone? Do you want me to tell her no?” asked Jimin when he sensed the uneasiness in his boyfriend

“I couldn’t ask you that especially with her condition; it just that… never mind” said Jungkook frustrating with his possessive self

Jimin couldn’t counter him for Minah came back and he had to help her set the bed

“Where were we?” asked Jimin when he was back to his bed

“You’re on the phone? I’m disturbing you, right?” said Minah lowly but Jungkook heard her

“No you’re not” said Jimin and turned his back to her facing the wall so he wouldn’t have her monitoring him

“I think we should call it tonight” said Jungkook

“Don’t run for the subject, I want to know what’s wrong” whispered Jimin extra careful so Minah wouldn’t listen to them but it was unnecessary; Jimin’s room was big and Minah was located at the other end of the room, plus she was so tired and in need of sleep that she fell asleep directly the moment she felt at ease

“Nothing; well none would be thrilled that their partner is having someone spending the night with” said Jungkook

“But you know me right?” asked Jimin

“I know but I can’t help it sometimes” whined Jungkook

“and I love it” said Jimin smiling like an idiot

“What?” asked Jungkook

“Well if you acted normal about the fact that I am having a girl sleeping in my room I would be hurt and think that you don’t care that much” admitted Jimin

“cheesy” said Jungkook

“You love it” said Jimin

“Not really ; I love you” said Jungkook flatly but it went straight to Jimin’s heart like Jungkook wanted

“You too… but be careful; you’re turning to being cheesy too” said Jimin chuckling a little

“It must be contagious” agreed Jungkook yawning

“I think you need to go to bed now” said Jimin

“Why? I am fine; I am big boy, even bigger than you” mumbled Jungkook

“And here we go... so Kookie tell me, who do you think love the other more, me or you?” asked Jimin taking advantage of the sleepy boyfriend

“Me of course me; I said it first, you just said me too; I said I love you first who said it first is the first to love more and more” said Jungkook incoherently and Jimin just cooed at his cuteness, he didn’t have to wait long before Jungkook was asleep and breathing softly on the phone, he ended the call pondering what Jungkook told him, even if it was a little bit disorganized, the thought was clear and he needed to make sure Jungkook knew that he love him too
