It was the first day of academic year; there would be the opening ceremony in the morning and the rest of the day was free from any classes

Jungkook considered the ceremony one of the most boring event the university organized; it was a place for long speeches that probably no one would pay attention to and it would also be an event for annoying gossiping and get introduced to the newbie. Jungkook used to make sure he skipped it altogether but this year was special; Jimin loved the event and Jungkook loved Jimin, therefore he was sitting in the middle of a filled room, in the front row looking around trying to locate Jimin or anyone he knew; the Fine Art and Acting students were seated in the main floor whereas the dance and singing majors were on the first floor surrounding them, Jungkook was lucky enough to have Tae sitting with him to ease the pain

“Is it me or the principal is getting better at his lame jokes?” asked Tae whispering like most of the students around

“You’re actually listening to him??” asked Jungkook cursing under his breath; he once again confirmed why he hated those kinds of events

“Stop being grumpy, you could have forgo it but since you’re here try to enjoy it” said Tae    

“Easy for you to say; I’ve a tolerance of a toddler. But since you’re a veteran in these kind events; could you tell me what do you usually do?” said Jungkook resting his head on Tae’s shoulder

“Loads of things; the main course is soon to be seen but for now you just let your ears enjoy the latest news and updates, you never know you can make new friends” whispered Tae

“Doubtful” scoffed Jungkook

“Thanks to this I manage to get the job at the café; it useful to have a good social life, smiling won’t kill you and your ego” said Tae nudging him

“Again with smiling!! Unless I’m not amused I don’t give fake smile” said Jungkook lowly glaring at a girl who was in front of him smiling to him

“Shush” said Tae secretly pointing over his shoulder at a group of two girls and boy whispering loud enough for Jungkook and Tae to hear them

“I’m telling you Jung Hoseok was epic at the party; he proudly and gracefully gave his boyfriend a sexy dance” whispered a girl, Tae was smiling and Jungkook just rolled his eyes; he wondered how long it would take everyone to get over that party that caused him more pain than joy

“Too bad he is taken; he was such a catch! Both of them were. Now what am I supposed to do now?” asked the other girl bitterly

“Well Park Jimin is still available; he is Jung Hoseok’s right arm after all and you know what they say about dancers, right?” said the boy who had a soft and thin voice, 

“Good dancers are good in bed, I know but Nina unnie told me that he has a “some” going on” said the first girl; Jungkook fisted his shirt in frustration, he never thought that he would get that possessive over Jimin; he hated the way the girls back at the café were talking to him about Yoongi and he hated even more the fact that he had to listen to the sophomores discussing him like he was a free agent; then he started to feel what Jimin was talking about when he saw him with his sunbae and Jinyoung 

“Well it is just a “some”, beside, I’m not looking for anything serious” said the boy lazily

“Good because I heard he is still not over Min Yoongi, he is probably his “some”, beside he won’t just forget about him that easy; he loved him a lot” said the second girl

“Well if you’re looking for a quick and great sex, you can always go to Jungkook sunbae, he is good” said the first girl

“I heard but I prefer Park Jimin” said the boy and Jungkook was close to turn and cursed at them but the hand resting on his thigh prevented him; Tae was giving him those puppy eyes to just let it go

“Why? It is the same result; you won’t have anything serious with Park Jimin too” asked the second girl

“Park Jimin is romantic and mature; although I know it is not a lasting thing, I still get to experience what it is felt like to be cherished” admitted the boy shyly

“Sneaky; but the pain is still the same, still you’re right; dealing with cold Jungkook sunbae isn’t that fun even when the sex is great” agreed the girl

“Well if you’re lucky enough, he will notice you, they’ll be here soon, look the speech is finally over” said the girl and Jungkook turned to Tae giving him a questioning look but Tae just winked at him and pointed toward the stage

The headmaster was done with talk and he looked around to the sudden silence that prevailed the room; they knew what it was next, they anticipated what it was next

“And like every year, let’s welcome our boys and girls that always brought pride to our university, the Bangtan dance crew” announced the headmaster and the room went crazy looking around because the Bangtan always managed to pull off the best show

The music started and Tae cries was louder with every second

“He actually did it!!! Oh God, I love that man” yelled Tae in Jungkook’s ear; the song was Mirotic by DBSK one of Tae’s favorite

“Where are they?” asked Jungkook curiously still seated looking around

“I don’t know but they’re here” said Tae excitedly jumping from his seat

The room’s lights were dim and the crew started gathering to the front of the stage smoothly getting up from their seats that they were just among the Acting and the Fine Art students

“Hi guys!!! Long time no see!!! This year the Rap team got you the crew caps and if you wanted it just raised your hand; I hope you’re lucky to get it” cried Jimin through the headmaster’s podium’s mic

They danced perfectly till the break-dance part; Jungkook felt nervous and weird looking at his boyfriend dancing amazingly but those feelings were not from that but it was from when he knew that they reached the part where they gave the caps, funny enough; he again didn’t like the idea of someone having Jimin putting the cap on his/her head, he stayed seated on his place while everyone else Tae included were bouncing and cheering

He was sitting in the first row in the second part of the main floor; he had the wide corridor between him and the first part of seniors students in front of him; it was an easy spot for the Bangtan to reach them; Jungkook assumed that that was the reason Tae insisted that they sat there

Hoseok didn’t have many caps like the other dancers, he only carried one black and white cap (Tae’s fav color) to his special one and everyone expected that. He ran to Tae putting the cap on his head, the latter tilted his head for the cap then he gave his boyfriend two thumbs up and his boxy smile to which Hoseok winked and ran back to the stage for his solo part

Park Jimin felt more charitable than Hoseokie for he had few caps in his hands; Jungkook was fuming on the fact that Jimin seemed to enjoy the cries of the students while they were desperately raising their hands for him. He placed recklessly the caps on some students’ heads without really even noticing who he was giving it to; since Hoseok decided to be romantic and pulled that event, there were more caps that needed to be distributed before the end of the song   

He was left with one cap; one red cap, he placed on his head and went to dance his solo part quickly and taking that opportunity to look for where Jungkook was sitting, he easily spotted him for he was the only one seated and he was in the center of the room, he ran to him while the song was soon to be over, students cried louder; it was the last cap and the bonus that came with it, was that Park Jimin wore it and even danced with it

Jimin stood next Tae so he wouldn’t make Jungkook uncomfortable but he eyes were on his boyfriend who gave him a small smile then he slowly raised his hand but not higher as the rest of the students who went crazy and he soon retrieved it back

It was enough for Jimin to walked to him and put the cap on his head resting his hands there for a while before he sprinted back to his crew

“Who was that?” asked some girl loudly and Jungkook dunked his head down and hid his face with the cap; he wasn’t trying to hide who he was as much as he was trying to cool off; he was blushing hard at Jimin’s gesture that he knew that it would only bring him more unnecessary gossips and gasps

“I still can’t believe that you actually danced to it” said Tae who was straddling Hoseok and his arms around his neck; Hobie and Tae were in Tae’s room for a movie date, it was the next day of the event, 4p.m but the couple managed to make out through most of the movie,

“I told you I would do it” said Hobi smiling while rubbing Tae’s nape with one hand and the other on rested on his hip

“Still, that was” kiss on the cheek “the best” another kiss on the other cheek “event anyone” a kiss on the forehead “did for me,” a kiss on his temple  “I love it” finished Tae his kissing shower with a peck on Hoseok’s lips

“Glad you like it” said Hoseok diving for a long kiss that was brutally interrupted by the door slammed opened

“When I said get a room, I wasn’t talking about this room” said Jungkook annoyed while throwing his bag on his desk; he finished his classes earlier than scheduled

“I thought you had Art history” said Tae still on Hoseok’s lap

“canceled, now what are you doing here?” said Jungkook lying on his bed looking at the snuggled couple

“Watching a movie” stated Tae simply

“Is it called ‘Hoseok’s face’ because that all what it looks like you’re watching” said Jungkook looking at his blushing Tae

“I wish, but the movie cut to commercials so” said Tae unfazed but he moved away from Hoseok to sit next to him to find that the movie had started; the T.V was placed in front of his bed on the closet (I try drawing the boys’ room for you)

“Cool, now you’re only planning a movie date right?” asked Jungkook

“yes, why?” asked Hoseok

“Well I want to stay in my room so I don’t want to be considered a cock blocker or something” said Jungkook

“Nah, it is fine, you can stay” said Tae hugging Hoseok from the side and focusing on the screen

Jungkook took a small nap to be awaken by phone ringing, he opened his eyes finding Hoseok struggling to quickly pick up so he wouldn’t wake Jungkook but he failed

“Oh Jiminie!!” said Hoseok and Jungkook was wide awake

“I forget the room’s keys on the gym’s lockers” said Jimin whining; he had just finished working out and he was tired

“So come here and get them” said Hoseok simply

“Hyung!!! I’m beat, sweaty and stinky; please” said Jimin still whining

“Well I’m on a date, but let me see if your Kookie is willing to get them for you” said Hoseok playfully earning a glare from Jungkook and a giggle from Tae who had his ear pressed on the phone to hear Jimin

“Kookie? I thought he had Art History” said Jimin

“Oh you know his classes’ planning, cute” teased Hoseok and Jungkook felt hot and uncomfortable

“Yeah of course; he texted me earlier today” said Jimin simply

“So you’re not fighting anymore, just come and stay with us then” said Hoseok

“Hey!! I’m right here you know” said Jungkook annoyed

“I told I’m sweaty and stinky” said Jimin

“Don’t worry he loves so much to care about that” said Tae to which Jungkook threw his pillow at him and Hoseok just laughed heartily

“I’m not sure” said Jimin

“hang up on him” said Jungkook when he saw that the phone call was going nowhere and Jimin was still arguing, which meant more teasing from the weird couple   

“What?” asked Hoseok

“Just do it” said Jungkook and surprisingly Hoseok complied; he saw Jungkook grabbing his phone from the desk

“So why don’t you want to come over?” asked Jungkook the moment Jimin picked up the phone

“I need to take a shower and I just…. Don’t know” said Jimin; he was avoiding talking to Jungkook that was a fact, he kept in touch through texts but that was it; he didn’t meet him in public because unlike Jungkook jimin couldn’t fake their relationship and the distance between them, so texting was the only reassuring thing for him that they still had hope for them

“Come over and take a shower here, I can lend you some of my clothes; they would be big on you but they will do” said Jungkook monotone and coolly that it was irritating for whoever witnessed it, and it was sure as hell infuriating for Jimin who was baffled by the attitude; Jimin was convinced that Jungkook was on his way to admit the relationship especially after that timid gesture at the ceremony event, but as always Jungkook turned to be as cold as ice in just a sec

The truth to be told about Jungkook’s attitude was that he wasn’t as comfortable as Tae in expressing himself and his true real feelings, so he tended to sound hurtful when he was trying to be casual or playful

“Never mind; I will head to the headquarter; I’m sure I left some sweatpants there” said Jimin coldly

“Why would you go there???? Just come here” said Jungkook impatiently

“Bye Kookie” said Jimin hanging up before he could hear a reply or worse an insult

“What the hell with the attitude” yelled Tae the sec Jungkook threw his phone on the bed

“What? I asked to come but he declined” said Jungkook

“You called that asking??? You just called him short then you carelessly asked him to come over, yeah anyone could see how excited you were for him to be here” said Tae boring stares on Jungkook’s face

“I was merely stating facts” said Jungkook

“Sometimes you don’t need your own boyfriend to state facts for you but rather makes you feel good and considerate; you’re still walking on the thin ice here Jungkook; he might be playing along with your stupidity but he is not the type to hold on into lost causes” said Tae gently looking like he was about to cry, he rested his head back on Hoseok’s chest; Hoseok didn’t want to butt in but he felt refreshed by Tae’s lecturing

Kookie: I am so sorry, I love you, come over, I want you here. PS: I got a new game ;)

Jiminie: are you sure? U sounded tired

Kookie: I’m fine, or r u scared that I would beat you in the new game?

Jiminie: u wish…. I’m on my way…. U r going down

Kookie: it is on baby

Jiminie: we will see BABY      

Getting Jimin on his good side was sometimes an easy task for Jungkook; he was grateful that he had someone who could put up with his personality, but like Tae told him, anyone had a certain amount of patient toward topics and persons. He had been thinking a lot after the event about him and Jimin and the way people would look at their exclusivity and he was close to make a decision if not he had already done

“Hi!” said Tae perky and happily; he really loved Jimin and he found him the most reliable person that he could considered as a friend

“Hi Tae Tae” said Jimin smiling

“Hey that’s my pet name for him” pouted Hoseok

“he has a lot of people who love him so get use to it” said Jungkook walking to Jimin; he didn’t know what it should be his next move, they hadn’t met face to face since their fight at the café, although they texted each other a lot after, it was still awkward for them

“So where are the oversize clothes that I can borrow from you” said Jimin before the silent killed one of them

“er… yeah… wait a sec” stuttered Jungkook; he was thankful that Jimin didn’t pull him for a kiss or something but he also deep down he wished he just did

“Here…. And the baggy clothes always make you look sexy” whispered Jungkook into Jimin’s ear while handing him his black sweatpants and a white t-shirt

Jimin beamed at Jungkook’s attempt to sound natural with his compliment and flirting given the fact there was a creepy couple following them with their eyes like a hawk, he took the clothes, shower’s kit and the towel from Jungkook and headed to the floor’s showers

“I really doubt people will believe or give you any attention if you they learn about your relationship” sighed Hoseok and the coldness that shivered his spine

“Agree; I feel bad for Jimin” said Tae

“Hey!!! I’m supposed to be your soul mate, how could you take his side” whined Jungkook

“You’re taken now; and I’m taking your side by taking his side” said Tae

“Never mind, if I try to understand your logic, I will risk losing mine” said Jungkook

“Yeah because your logic gets you rainbows and flowery love life” scoffed Tae but Jungkook just winced at that then ignored his best friend to place the game on; like Tae, Jungkook had the same T.V placed on the side of the closet I front of his bed

It’d been an hour since the boys were playing the game; Jungkook was winning all the way and Jimin didn’t seem to mind or his head was somewhere else,

As for the weird couple; the movie was over but they found the scene on the side more interesting; if an outsider came in the room he would assume that Hobi and Tae Tae were dating from their posture, but the same couldn’t be said about Jungkook and Jimin; although they were both lying on the bed in sitting position with their heads on the headboard, they looked chummy to be close friends or brothers, nothing could lead anyone to think that they were a couple 

“Seriously, do you actually believe that both of them used to be players??? They looked so in love with the game than with the person beside them” whispered Tae to Hoseok but it was a small room and anything could be heard clearly in it

“I know!!! And to think that Jiminie used to have hot makeout sessions in front of the crew when we were taking breaks” said Hoseok with a low voice but like always it was clearly heard

Jungkook gave the game’s console unnecessary harsh treatment in an attempt to kill Jimin and Jimin winced at Hoseok’s statement more than the fact that Jungkook was close to end him in the game

“you don’t say, well Kookie is not that innocent; once he had sex with a girl while I was cramming for my test in our room” said Tae and both Jimin and Jungkook froze at the bold statement but then again that was Tae

Jimin raised an eyebrow at Jungkook who refused to meet his stares focusing solely on the game,

“You do know that we can hear you” said Jungkook still not looking at anyone but the T.V

“That’s the point! God! Would you just hold hands so I can be sure that you’re actually dating? If I can’t buy it how you are even worried about others!” exclaimed Tae  

“We call it even?” said Jungkook whispering at Jimin who knew they weren’t talking about the game anymore

“I think you’ve already won” said Jimin not looking at him which got Jungkook to put his hand on his forearm and squeezed it

“It’s the past you know that?” said Jungkook whispering, he was a little alarmed by the sudden turn the conversation was taking

“I know, I don’t have a bright one either but sometimes you make wish that I was one of your floozies; they got to be intimate with you in shorter time than me” sighed Jimin turning to look at him

“You’re actually fighting right? That wasn’t the purpose of the comments Hobie and I made” cut in Tae when he could no longer hear them but he still could sensed the tension created

“Well I told you; your logic isn’t to be trusted” said Jungkook standing up from the bed and headed to his desk to fetch his wallet and phone

“Want to come with me to get us food?” asked Jungkook looking at Jimin

“With these clothes??? They’re not suitable and people may suspect something” said Jimin

“Fuck them, beside I think you look hot” said Jungkook and he mentally slammed his mouth; he shared way too much in the presence of Tae

“That’s more like my Kookie” clapped Tae apporoving the attitude

“He is my Kookie, your Hobie is enough” scoffed Jimin geting up to put on his timberlands

“What do you want to eat?” asked Jungkook the weird couple

“You have to ask???” said Tae raising his eyebrow

“I have what he has” said Hoseok meaningfully high fiving his Tae laughing (It was a similar line from an old American movie ‘I have what she has’)

“Weird indeed” said Jimin walking out of the room

“So where are we getting our dinner? Your acquaintance from the dorm’s party last year?” said Jimin

“He is expinsive; I’ve not got my allwence yet neither start my job at the café” said Jungkook

“it’s fine; I’m paying” said Jimin

“No, invite me for a proper dinner date not when those clowns are with us,” declined Jungkook

“When should I take you then? Where is it safe for us to be?” asked Jimin and Jungkook knew that he was implying something more than just food

“I’ll tell you, not today though” said Jungkook

“It’s within this month I hope” asked Jimin stopped walking

“Jiminie, I love you a lot and now I really don’t care about anyone else, just give till the end of this week, please” pleaded Jungkook with those puppy big eyes that made Jimin’s legs buckled

“Fine” said Jimin resuming his walking

“You know, I’m still mad of the fact that you gave those girls and boys caps” said Jungkook trying to change the subject

“Well, it is not my fault that the leader’s dance crew decided to be sappy with his boyfriend and leave to his right arm dancer the task of distributing those caps” defended Jimin

“Still, it is not only you” pouted Jungkook unaware how cute he was that Jimin had to conjure all his self control not to kiss that pout

“Well, I’m sorry next time, I would only gave it to you” promised Jimin smiling loving witnessing that side of his boyfriend

“No, don’t! please,” said Jungkook panicking

“Well, you never know what could happen next year; we could be broken up by then and you have found yourself another person to love or we would still be pretending that we are nothing to each other” said Jimin nonchalance to get the right reaction from Jungkook

“Glad to know you’ve faith in continuance of our relationship, plus how could you only include me to finding someone after you, you’re no different I saw how the students were eyeing you in the ceremony” said Jungkook trying to include sarcasm and nonchalance so Jimin wouldn’t point out what it made him blushed

“So you’ve been watching me” teased Jimin happily; he was always blissful when he learnt that he affected the youngest just as much

“I was, now I want to ask you something about it” admitted Jungkook easily and Jimin was flustered by his forwardness

“Had anyone asked you out after the event yesterday?” asked Jungkook thanking the sky for being dark so Jimin couldn’t see his pink blush, and Jimin really didn’t need to see it he could tell from Jungkook’s tone

“Yes” said Jimin shortly; honesty was the best policy for them especially both of them had baggage from their past life

“how many? Who? Do I know them?” fired Jungkook all the unwanted feared questions

“Do I really need to say it?” asked Jimin hating that type of obessession from Jungkook; obessession that only led to hurt him

“Please” said Jungkook and Jimin sighed in defeat; there was no one he had spot soft for like he had for his boyfriend even before he started dating him, it had always been like that with him, not even Yoongi reached that part of his heart

“Well it is your fault; you left right after the show, so there was this dance freshman girl and a boy who I think is your hoobea” stated Jimin

Jungkookk had a wild guess who the hoobea might be but he tried to focus on what he was planning to ask Jimin for

“I love you Jungkook and I told them I have someone who they could never compared to” said Jimin grabbing his arm to stop him from crossing the street; he knew that he wasn’t thinking straight and the traffic wasn’t that light given it was night and most of people were out or comoing back from work

“I’ve no right to be mad, right? I brought it to myself” said Jungkook looking at Jimin, they were in front the shop where they planned to get their dinner

“No, you’ve the right to have your fears and doubts about us and how we should consider the relationship and you are entitled to give your own…” assured Jimin but he was surprised by Jungkook’s sudden hug

“I never had any doubts or fears when it comes to you or us, I’m delaying the inviteble because eventually everyone is going to know about us; we are epic, right?” said Jungkook muffled by Jimin’s Jungkook’s hoodie

“I have the best boyfriend there is so of course we are going to be epic” said Jimin laughing then he broke the hug going in the shop to buy the weird couple dinner because they were scary when they were hungry

The air between Jungkook and Jimin wasn’t completely clear but they were getting there
