As the hours pass, Helena, tired, dozes off in the armchair, while William is still sleeping. Otavio and Juliana go to the room, Otavio picks up Helena and lays her on the bed next to William, Juliana covers her with a blanket and they leave.
Already outside the room.
Juliana: Would it be crazy to say that she would be really good for him? I think they would make a great couple.
Otavio: It's not just you, I think the same. Have you noticed that William is changing his behavior around her? His face has color, his eyes shine, he speaks in a more playful tone rather than his usual arrogance.
Juliana: I hope he falls in love, he doesn't deserve to suffer. Steffany hurt him a lot.
Otavio: Don't worry, we won't interfere, but we won't hesitate to give them a little push.
Juliana: Haha, sure.
They go to the living room, a few hours pass and William wakes up. He looks to the side and sees Helena sleeping, she looked like an angel. He touches her hair, feeling its softness, and smells a strand. The smell of her shampoo is delicious. He gently caresses her face when his father enters the room and he retreats.
Otavio: Hi son, glad you're awake.
William: Why is she in my bed?
Otavio: She fell asleep in the armchair, so I put her here.
William: You know that nobody lies in my bed.
Otavio: Then I'll wake her up.
William: No, leave her, just speak softly.
Otavio: Feeling better?
William: Yes.
Otavio: I'll bring your dinner.
William: Okay.
He leaves, and William continues to watch Helena. He shifts, sitting on the bed, and Helena stirs but doesn't wake up. She pouts cutely, making William laugh at her sleeping expression. Otavio enters, placing the tray on William's lap. He eats, feeling much better, and Otavio waits for him to finish in silence so as not to wake up Helena. After he finishes eating, Otavio takes the tray, and William sits there, watching her. Suddenly, her phone rings, he quickly grabs it from her pocket with a little effort. It's Mateo calling, and he hangs up and switches off the phone.
Helena continues sleeping, making a cute pout. It's funny and adorable at the same time, she's in a deep sleep. William takes a picture of her sleeping with his phone and saves it in a secure folder. The minutes pass, the hours pass, it's already late at night. William had gone to the bathroom with his father's help, and when he lies back down, Helena starts to wake up. She looks around the room and then at him. Otavio leaves the room, and upon seeing William by her side, she looks scared and confused.
Helena: What...
William: Relax, you fell asleep in the armchair, and my dad put you here in bed. Don't worry, I didn't do anything.
Helena: How are you? I'm sorry for this.
William: I had three seizures, very high fever...
Helena: Don't say that, not even joking around, for God's sake.
William: You don't want me to die, Doctor?
Helena: No, of course not.
William: I won't leave you alone anytime soon, Doctor.
Helena: I prefer it that way.
William: Did you manage to rest?
Helena: Yes.
William: I know, everyone who comes here rests a lot.
Helena becomes serious and gets up. William observes her as she goes to the bathroom but quickly comes out. Helena is still serious, she picks up her bag to leave and her cell phone from the table next to him. William grabs her arm, looking at her.
William: What are you doing?
Helena: I'm leaving, you're already better, great by the way.
William: Have you seen the time? It's 2:00 in the morning, Doctor.
Helena: My car is here, so I'll be fine.
William: You're not leaving here.
Helena: Let go of me.
William: Why are you acting like this?
Helena: Let me go, I'm leaving.
William: Jealousy, Doctor?
Helena: What? Are you crazy?
William: I wish I were. You're stressed, Doctor, and that's not good for the heart... repeating her words.
Helena: Let me go.
William: Don't think you're leaving, I need you here, and it's dangerous for you to go out at this hour.
Helena: You're already fine.
William: I made some effort to go to the bathroom, so my legs are hurting. My fever could come back, Doctor. Do you want me to stay delirious here by myself? If you do, I'll stop the physical therapy and choose another one.
He lets her go, Helena leaves her bag on the armchair, she leaves the room, and as she closes the door, Juliana appears.
Juliana: Hi, darling, I'm glad you woke up. I was going to wake you up, so you could have dinner with us, but William wouldn't let me, no matter what.
Helena: He wouldn't let you?
Juliana: He said you needed rest, I couldn't even touch you. He was the one arranging your blanket, haha.
Helena: Oh my god...feels embarrassed
Juliana: Come on, let's go to the kitchen, you need to eat something.
Helena: I won't refuse, I only had lunch today.
Juliana: Poor thing, let's fill up that little belly, haha.
Helena: Thank you.
They go down to the kitchen.
