Episode 6

Helena goes home, heading straight to her bedroom. Helen senses a strange atmosphere and goes over there. Helena is lying on the bed, which is unusual at this time.

Helen: Sister? What happened?

Helena: Nothing.

Helen: No, tell me what happened. Did you fight with Mateo?

Helena: No.

Helen: Then what is it? Wait... is it coming back again? Are you thinking about her?

Helena: I failed.

Helen: Hey, Helena, you didn't fail.

Helena: Then why couldn't I make her continue? She could have started walking again, but I couldn't make it happen. I also couldn't make Mr. William continue.

Helen: Did he give up?

Helena: Seems like it.

Helen: My love, Evelyn was a child, and it's normal for her not to want to continue. You did everything you could. Don't blame yourself.

Helena lies down on Helen's lap.

A few months ago, Helena found out that a child needed her help. She became her physiotherapist, but after a few days, the girl no longer wanted to continue. She missed a few sessions, and one day she got sick and never returned. When she got better, she didn't want to go anymore. Helena went to her house and played with her, they talked, but the girl didn't want to continue.

After some time, Helena learned that the child's case was beyond hope; she would be paraplegic. Now the same thing is happening with William. If he doesn't go through with it, he could lose his ability to move forever.

Helena knows she is very good at what she does, but she thinks that if she were really that good, patients wouldn't give up.

Helena eventually falls asleep, and Helen lies with her, sleeping while embracing her.

William was in the garden. He couldn't work since he was in this situation, so he worked from home. A few years ago, he took over his father's company after the accident he had and hasn't been able to leave the house.

He was lost in thought, with Helena's and his parents' words echoing in his head. He remembers the accident and becomes furious.

It all happened when William went to a club with his friends. They drank a lot and enjoyed the night. When the club closed in the early morning, they left. William was in his car, and his two friends were with him. Another friend was in the other car with his girlfriend.

Eduardo, William's best friend, had been drinking excessively. He opened the car window and leaned out, shouting through the streets. The alcohol was running high through his veins, and with the music on, he became even happier, shouting and having fun.

William and his other friend were singing along. While driving, William was also having fun. He saw another car approaching and tried to save Eduardo, who had half his body outside the window, but it didn't work. The other car was speeding and crashed into William's car, hitting Eduardo. As William tried to avoid the collision, his car flipped over, trapping him in the wreckage.

The other car was damaged too but didn't flip over. They were fleeing from the police because the car was stolen. Both passengers in that car suffered injuries and fractures.

William's friend had a few fractures, but Eduardo died at the scene. The impact was strong, and he couldn't survive. Since then, when William learned what had happened, he felt devastated. He blames himself for drinking too much that day, as if he had been sober, he wouldn't have allowed Eduardo to have half his body outside the car.

William was engaged; that was the reason for the celebration at the club. However, his fiancee couldn't attend due to a family event. Once she learned about William's situation, she broke up with him because she didn't want a paralyzed or limping husband.

William was in a lot of pain. Besides the guilt, the loss of his friend, and the breakup, everything had taken a toll on him. Eduardo's mother blamed William, which added to his guilt. Going back to walking, to living, would be difficult for him. It was as if he had a life to enjoy, but his friend couldn't anymore. Now, with the words of his parents and Helena, this stirred up something within him - a doubt. Should he continue like this or not? Is Eduardo happy or sad?
