Chapter-10

The small boy slowly walked towards the field. His eyes were lost. He stood behind the rock.

After a few seconds he came to the front. But instead of shooting or running he just stood there.

"Why isn't he moving?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.

Jungkook saw Bruce aiming his gun towards the boy. He is gonna pull the trigger any moment now.

"RUN!"

It felt as if it happened even in a lesser time than a second. Bruce fired at the boy a few times. Hoseok covered his ears because of the loud sound. His body fell on the ground in such a manner as if it had no spine. Some guards came in not even a moment after and took the body away.

"Where are they taking it?" Taehyung got surprised by his own voice. Why is his voice so calm? Is even death not effecting him now? And why did he call him "it"?

"It" Jungkook mumbled. The person who just died is now referred as "IT". Like an object or animal. His heart fell to his stomach. Aren't they considered human anymore?

"Next are you" a guard called Hoseok.

Hoseok looked back at the line behind him and tried to say something but he found himself turning to the front and walking towards the field.

He leaned his back behind the rock and took in a long breath.

"Just breathe and it will be okay." he mumbled to himself.

"Yes you can do it. That boy died because he was scared but you aren't scared. You are only scared of snakes and this is NOT a snake." Hoseok patted his own shoulder and aimed the tip of the gun out towards Bruce while himself staying behind the rock.

"Where is the trigger again?" he looked for it cluelessly and then found something which he thought might be the trigger. He pulled it and bullets started coming out. This started Hoseok himself but he managed to run and take shelter behind the tree.

"Hahha it's not that hard at all." he felt a different kind of happiness and confidence in himself.

Hoseok reached the finishing line. After him, Taehyung and the tall guy between him and Jungkook also reached it. Although Taehyung tripped in between and almost got hit in his leg, he somehow escaped. Now it was Jungkooks turn.

"Well, if others can carry out my plan easily, I can too. Right?"

He reached the finishing line easier than he thought he could've. Hoseok, Taehyung and others were congratulating and celebrating but then Jungkook walked past them.

"Jungkook?" Hoseok caught his hand and looked at him surprised.

He freed his hand from Hoseok grip and started walking towards the place Bruce was standing. He doesn't know why he is doing this.

Bruce is also looking at him in confusion.

"Um dude don't you think that guy is kinda crazy?" the tall guy asked Taehyung.

"What?" Taehyung looked back at him.

"I mean he's always saying and doing crazy things. At first he gave us the plan. Although it worked, it was crazy. Now what the hell does he think he's doing?" he scratched his chin.

Taehyung didn't reply. Really, what is he planning to do?

Jungkook stood in front of Bruce and clutched his gun tightly. He has something big in his mind.
