Felix's jewelry company, Lumineux is one of the most prestigious in the city.
Been known for designing intricate timeless pieces.
But lately, his attention had been elsewhere. (Note this)
Felix sat at his desk, his fingers hovered over his keyboard as he shifted through the search results on his screen.
He had spent hours last night going through everything he could find on Adeline–her past, her rise to fame, and then the sudden disappearance from the public eye.
Once the most adored Miss world, was now a shadow of the woman she used to be.
Felix couldn't stop staring at the photos from her glory days, those smiling pictures of a confident young woman.

If There was look alike competition... Adele would definitely take this one. She looks like her.
His thoughts were interrupted when the door to his office open.
Mark stepped in with concerned look on his face.

*he asked quickly, his tone tightening*

*stood up abruptly, grabbing his jacket off the chair*

I don't trust her.
Mark didn't have time to respond before Felix rushed out of the office.
Felix is driving desperately with a thought that Adele may have it as an opportunity to escape.
Felix rushed into the mansion. He hears voices from his daughter's room.
Inside, his daughter was sitting on the bed with a small cat in her hands

*was sitting next to her, smiling*

Daddy, look! I have a kitty!

*eyes hardening, voice tense*

*confused*
What's wrong, Felix? I found it in yard. She liked it, so I thought...she should have it as her pet.

*furious, voice rising*
I don't like cats!

*standing up on the bed, holding out the cat*
Daddy, why? It's cute!

*moving back, shaking his head*

*trying to calm him down*

*still refusing, his voice sharp*

Felix suddenly stops talking,his breath coming quicker. He looks like he's struggling to breathe. Adele notices.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*worried, reaching out*
Felix...are you okay?
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*shoving her head away, his voice stained*
Don't. Please... I'm fine.
Felix stumbled backward, clutching his chest, and collapsed on the floor.

*breathing heavily, his face pale*
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*rushes to him, terrified*
Felix!
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*kneels beside him, trying to help.*
Adele sat beside the bed, gently checking his temperature.
She holds a damp cloth to Felix's forehead. He is still unconscious, breathing heavily.
She notices his high temperature was getting worse. Hesitating for a moment, she looks at his shirt.

*softly to herself*
You need some air...
She unbuttons his shirt slowly, careful not to disturb him too much.
As the shirt opens, her eyes fall on his muscular chest.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*her hand hovers over a large, jagged scar on his abdomen.*
The scar is old but prominent, a mark that tells a story of something painful.
The scene flashes into Adele's mind, blurry and disorienting.
She hears the frantic shouts of a nurse in a hospital corridor, the rush of hurried footsteps.
Nurse
*voice, yelling*
Young boy, involved in a car accident! Deep cut on the stomach! We need surgery now!
Images of a young boy, pale and unconscious, being wheeled down the hospital hallway in a stretcher.
The scar on his stomach was a fresh, raw wound.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*she blinks, coming back to the present. Her fingers lightly graze the scar on Felix's abdomen*
As if trying to understand, the pain he must have gone through.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
It can't be him...right?
*muttered to herself*
Suddenly, she hears a sharp voice, behind her.
Bianca Lawson (ML's girlfriend)
*angrily*
What are you doing?
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*she quickly pulls her hand back, looking at the door*
Where Bianca stands, her face flushed with anger.
