Episode # 13
The soft hum of the car engine as the car cruises down the road.
Adele sits in the backseat, still wearing the wedding, dress, her eyes are teary, her hands clutching the fabric tightly.
She glance nervously at Felix who is sitting across her, his expression cold and unreadable.
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*looking at her,his voice low and firm*
We're married now.
She didn't respond, her body tense with fear.she looks out the window, trying to calm herself, but it's impossible.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*thoughtfully*
Did I helped the thief or... mafia? He looks scary just by his tone.
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*command to the driver*
Stop by the shop.
The car slows down, and soon, they stop in front of the clothing shop.

*coldly at Adele*
Get out.
Adele hestiates but slowly gets off the car, still in the dress. She walks toward the shop with Felix following closing behind.
They enter the stop, where the shop worker greets them with a neutral smile.
Felix stands near the entrance, his eyes cold as he watches Adele.

*to Adele, without any emotion*
Find something comfortable to wear. Throw that dress away.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*her heart pounding, glances at him for a brief moment before looking down*
The shop worker gestures to the back of the shop, leading her toward the changing area.

This way, please.
Adele follows the worker, feeling small and helpless. As she walks away. Felix stands still, his arms crossed, his eyes never leaving her.

*coldly*
Hurry up.
After a few minutes, Adele comes back, now in simpler clothes.
She avoids looking at him as she approached him. He look her over, his expression still harsh.

*nods briefly*
Good. Let's go.
They head back to the car.
Adele found herself being dragged through the hallway of a massive, luxurious mansion.
Felix's grip on her arm was tight almost painful as he pulled her forward.
She could hear the voices and laughter coming from the dinning room.
The moment they entered. The laughter stopped. All eyes turned to them.
The long table was filled with people– Bianca's family, all them dressed in fancy clothes, their face full of surprise and confusion.
Adele felt small, shrinking under their gazes. She lowered her head, trying to make herself as invisible as possible.
Felix stood still for a moment, his voice cold and serious.

*looking at the family*
I'm married.
The room went silent. Bianca's father stood up from the table, his mouth hanging open in shock.
Terry Lawson (Bianca's dad)
What?
*he steps closer *

Married?
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*slightly nodding*
Yes. Now I'm married.
The family exchanged, uneasy glances, their smiles fading, they looked at Adele from head to toe, their eyes full of judgement.
Thomas Lawson (Bianca's brother)
*laughing*
What a show, your perfect soon to be son in law...outdid himself.
Tina Lawson (Bianca's mom)
*annoyed*
He called us here to tell us he's married. I made dinner for all of this shit.
Adele kept her gaze fixed on the floor, avoiding their stares.
Terry Lawson (Bianca's dad)
*leaning in close to Felix,his voice low but intense*
My daughter carried a child for you...
*pauses his words dripping with disappointment*
And this is how you repay her? Ruining her, her image...my family's reputation.
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*calmly but cold resolve, voice steady*
I'm sorry, sir, but I think you should ask your daughter why she isn't standing next to me.
*pauses, his gaze unwavering*
Maybe you'll understand.

*eyes narrowing, taken aback by Felix's coldness, steps back slightly*

*without hesitation, his voice clear and firm*
You find out from your daughter.
Terry Lawson (Bianca's dad)
*eyes flickering between Felix and Adele, his anger mounting*

*his voice tightens, more to himself than anyone else*

*his tone never wavers, his anger hidden behind an icy mask*
It's not unforgivable, sir. It's just...the reality.

*he pulls Adele closer, his grip still firm on her arm*
Now, let's eat.
Adele stayed silent, just following Felix's every move. Bianca's family feeling disrespected by him left the house.
Adele is asleep on the couch, wrapped in exhaustion. Felix enters,his footsteps barely audible. He pauses, looking at her his face unreadable.

*softly, almost to himself*
She's so fragile...
He walks over to a chair, retrieves a blanket, and drapes it over Adele with careful tenderness.
He lingers for a moment, his gaze lingering on her face.
The sound of a phone buzzing breaks the silence. He pulls it from his pocket, glancing at the screen. He answers with a calm voice.
