Episode # 14
As Felix stood there watching her sleeping his mind drifted back to earlier.
Adele couldn't breathe, felt suffocated by what Felix did to her. Without a word, she stood up and quickly walked out of the room.
She heard footsteps behind her, but she didn't look back. She needed to get away.
Felix's grip on her arm tightened as he caught up with her dragging her back into the house.
But she pulled away, rushing out to the front door and into the cool night air.
Tears blurred her vision as she ran down the street, her heart pounding.
Felix didn't waste a second. He turned, heading to his car, and sped after her.
He caught up quickly, pulling over beside her. He stepped out, his face cold, his footsteps hard against the pavement.

Stop.
*he ordered, grabbing her arm and forcing her to face him*
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*she looked up at him, tears streaming down her face*

Please, tell me this is a prank.
*she pleaded, her voice shaky*

*his tone icy*

Adeline/Adele (FL)

*she whispered, trying to pulling away.
He placed his hand over her lips, silencing her.
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
Shhh...
*his voice was low and dangerous*
You only have one thing to do. Your duty.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
What... what are you mean?
*she asked, her voice barely a whisper*
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*he leaned in closer, his cold stare never leaving her face*
You duty is to be my wife. I don't need a lover, friend, mother in you. I just need a wife.
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*a tear slipped down her cheek as she whispered*
Please can I make a call then. Just one last time.
Without saying a word, he yanked her arm, pulling her toward the car.
And slammed the door shut. He got in the car, leaving her no choice but to stare out of the window, the tears never stopping.
The sunlight filters softly through the curtains. The air warm from the sun, everything is peaceful.
Adele is on the couch, still wrapped in a blanket, trying to stand up.
The bathroom door creaks open, and Felix steps out, his hair damp and his body glistening with steam from the hot bath.
He's shirtless, his muscles defined. He accidentally bumps into Adele who is startled.

*quickly looking away, flustered*
Oh! Um. You...you should really put on a shirt!
Felix De la Hoyde (ML)
*scoffing, standing there with a grin*
It's hot in here. I don't mind if you can look. I'm your man, now after all.

*slightly embarrassed, trying not to look*

She glance at him quickly, her eyes drawn to a scar on his stomach without thinking,she moves closer him curiousity getting the better of her.

*leaning in to touch the scar*

*startled, quickly steps back*
Hey, hey! What are you doing? Back off!
Adeline/Adele (FL)
*awkwardly, pulling her hand back*
Sorry, I–uh, didn't mean to–

*looking at her, a little uncomfortable*

Adeline/Adele (FL)

No, I–wait, no, we haven't. But where did you get that scar?

*turns to walk away*
Felix sits beside a hospital bed, holding a wedding photo. he hands it to the woman lying in the bed. Her hands tremble slightly as she takes the photo.

*softly, gazing at the picture*
She's so beautiful....
Felix watches her carefully, a mix of sadness and confusion on his face.
Her fingers gently trace the image of Adele's face,her eyes welling up with tears.

*whispering*
She looks so... beautiful.
Before Felix can ask another question, the door opens. The doctor enters,his face serious.
Dr. Justin (The doctor )
*to Felix*
Can I have a moment with you?

*nods and follows the doctor out into the hallway*
They walk down the corridor to the doctor's office.
Dr. Justin (The doctor )
*sitting down*
She's still deeply affected by what happened a few years ago. She's not making progress mentally.

*his face tightens with concern*

Dr. Justin (The doctor )
I believe she's letting people do things her way, trying to escape her reality. It's like she believes she's living in that moment forever...

*stares at the doctor*
Do you mean... she's mentally unstable.
Dr. Justin (The doctor )
*nodding*
