After barely stopping Selena from committing a crime, I had one goal:

"Oh? Just talk?" Selena said smoothly.
"Yep," my ex said, grinning. "Unless you think she’s too weak to handle a little conversation?"

Selena’s fingers twitched, like she was debating whether violence was worth it.
I panicked and jumped between them.
"OKAY! OKAY! I’LL TALK TO HER!" I yelled.
Selena’s eyes narrowed.
My ex smirked.
I turned to her. "We talk. That’s it. Then you leave me alone, right?"
She grinned. "We’ll see~"
I REGRET EVERYTHING.

She took me to the rooftop (why is it always the rooftop?!).
I crossed my arms. "Alright. Talk."
She leaned against the railing, watching me. "Man… you really don’t remember anything, huh?"
I sighed. "No. And honestly? Maybe that’s a good thing."
She chuckled. "You always were blunt."
I rolled my eyes. "Can we skip the nostalgia trip?"
She smirked. "Sure. Let’s get straight to the point, then."
She stepped closer. Too close.
I stepped back. "Personal space, please!"
She ignored me. "Selena’s dangerous, you know."
I blinked. "Uh. What?"
She leaned in, whispering, "She’s not who you think she is."

HOLD UP. WHAT?!
I stared at her. "What are you talking about?"
She shrugged. "You’ll find out soon enough."
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SAY THAT!
I grabbed her sleeve. "No, no, no! You can’t just drop creepy hints and leave!"
She chuckled. "Relax, babe. I just wanted to warn you."
She turned to leave, then paused.
"Oh, and one more thing," she added, looking over her shoulder.
"You used to love me."
Then she walked off.
Leaving me completely speechless.
