Chapter 4: First Day as a “Girl” – Help?!
I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, my mind still reeling from everything that just happened.
Let’s summarize:
I died and got reborn as a girl.
My name is now Lilian Summers.
I have a girlfriend, Selena—the cold, gorgeous beauty who apparently never dates anyone but somehow ended up with me.
My best friend Emily thinks this whole situation is “romantic.”
I have no idea how to act like a girl.
“How the hell am I supposed to survive this?!” I groaned, pulling a pillow over my face.
Unfortunately, sleep didn’t bring me any answers.
The Next Morning
The next disaster came in the form of my own reflection.
I stood in front of the mirror, completely shocked.
Long, silky brown hair. Bright golden eyes. Fair skin, soft lips, and delicate features.
Holy crap, I’m actually pretty.
But then I looked down and—yep. I was definitely a girl.
I swallowed hard. “Okay, don’t panic. It’s just a body. You can do this.”
Unfortunately, my past self never prepared me for things like putting on a bra.
“HOW DO GIRLS DEAL WITH THIS?!” I growled, struggling with the damn straps for five whole minutes.
By the time I finally got dressed in the school uniform—a white blouse and a short skirt—I felt exhausted.
And then came another nightmare.
“Lilian, hurry up! You’re going to be late for class!” Emily called from outside my room.
I turned back to the mirror, my eyes narrowing.
I have to go out... like THIS?!
I took a deep breath. Alright. Let’s just act normal. No one will know I was a guy in my past life. Just pretend.
I opened the door.
Emily gasped. “Oh my gosh! You look adorable today!”
Mission failed.
“L-Let’s just go!” I stammered, pushing past her before she could keep complimenting me.
Emily laughed. “Still as shy as ever! Come on, Selena’s waiting for us!”
My stomach dropped. Oh, right. My ‘girlfriend.’
At the School Gates
I spotted her immediately.
Selena stood near the school entrance, looking effortlessly stunning as usual. She wore the school uniform like a queen, her long black hair cascading over her shoulders. Her sharp blue eyes landed on me, and for a moment, I froze.
Why is she looking at me like that?!
Selena walked up to me, her gaze cool and unreadable. “You’re late.”
Emily laughed. “She had some trouble getting ready!”
Selena’s eyes flickered over my appearance. Slowly, she leaned in close. Too close.
I tensed. “W-What?”
Her lips curled into the tiniest smirk. “You forgot to button the top of your blouse.”
I blinked. “Huh?”
She reached forward and—buttoned it for me.
My brain shut down.
Emily squealed. “So sweet! Selena, you’re such a good girlfriend!”
I, on the other hand, was trying not to combust on the spot.
Selena stepped back, her expression unreadable. “Let’s go.”
And just like that, she turned and walked off, leaving me standing there with a completely red face.
OH GOD. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE THIS?!
