Chapter 19: The Villainess vs. Mafia Life (AKA How to Accidentally Become a Crime Boss)
Lily had come to terms with many things in her life.
✔ She had been reincarnated into a BL novel as the villainess.
✔ She had tried (and failed) to ensure the male lead and his boyfriend ended up together.
✔ Instead of fixing the story, she had somehow become the object of both their affections.
And now?
She was accidentally climbing the ranks of the mafia.
Against her will.
Lily groaned as she sprawled on the luxurious couch in the mafia mansion. She had spent the last three days being trained like some high-class assassin, and at this point, she was convinced they were preparing her for a life of crime.
“Princess,” Gabriel drawled, walking into the room with his usual amused smirk. “You look exhausted.”
Lily didn’t even lift her head. “No, really? I thought I was glowing with energy.”
Gabriel chuckled and flopped down next to her. “Raphael’s gone easy on you.”
Lily shot up. “EASY? The man made me run five miles this morning. Before breakfast.”
Gabriel tilted his head. “Huh. That’s less than usual.”
Lily wanted to cry.
Just then, Raphael entered the room, exuding his usual cold and intimidating aura. He walked over to Lily and placed a file in front of her. “Read this.”
Lily hesitated. “...Is this another ‘how to kill someone with a spoon’ manual?”
Raphael paused. “That was one time.”
Lily gawked. “I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT’S A SENTENCE I JUST HEARD.”
Nathan, who had been watching from the side while sipping a smoothie, nodded. “It was a very educational lesson.”
Lily turned to him. “YOU’RE NOT HELPING.”
Gabriel chuckled. “Just read the file, princess.”
Lily sighed dramatically and opened the folder—only to freeze.
“Uh. Why is my name on this?”
Raphael gave her a flat look. “Because it’s about you.”
Lily stared. “Okay, I don’t like where this is going.”
She started reading.
Name: Lily Sinclair
Status: Under Mafia Protection (Unwillingly)
Current Rank: Honorary Member
Specialty: Hacking (False), Evasion (Accidental), Tactical Brilliance (???), Negotiation Skills (Screaming Until They Listen)
Lily sputtered. “Tactical brilliance?! I’m literally winging it every day!”
Raphael nodded. “Exactly.”
Gabriel grinned. “That’s what makes you unpredictable.”
Lily mentally screamed.
Nathan leaned over to read the file. “Ohhh, look at this section: ‘Potential Future Role – High-Value Asset or Mafia Boss.’”
Lily threw the file. “I QUIT.”
Gabriel laughed. “You can’t quit something you never agreed to.”
Raphael sighed. “Stop complaining and come with us.”
Lily froze. “Come with you… where?”
Gabriel stood up, stretching lazily. “We have business to handle.”
Lily narrowed her eyes. “Define ‘business.’”
Nathan clapped. “Ooooh, are we going to threaten people today?”
Lily whipped her head around. “WHY DO YOU SOUND SO EXCITED?”
Nathan grinned. “Because it’s fun?”
Lily felt her soul leaving her body.

One Hour Later – Lily’s First Mafia Business Trip (AKA Ultimate Chaos)
Lily sat in the backseat of a ridiculously expensive black car, sandwiched between Gabriel and Raphael as they drove through the city.
She had so many regrets.
“So…” she started. “What exactly are we doing?”
Gabriel smirked. “Just a little negotiation.”
Lily squinted. “By negotiation, do you mean a peaceful conversation over coffee or a gunfight in an abandoned warehouse?”
Raphael answered, deadpan. “Probably both.”
Lily internally screamed.

Warehouse Meeting – The Moment Lily Realized She Was Doomed
When they arrived, the atmosphere was tense. Several suited men stood in a circle, their expressions serious.
Lily peeked from behind Raphael. “Uhhh, I think I’ll wait in the car.”
Gabriel grabbed her wrist. “Nope. You’re with us.”
Lily whimpered.
As they approached, a burly man with a scar across his cheek sneered. “So you finally showed up, Blackfang.”
Lily whispered to Raphael, “Wait, your mafia name is BLACKFANG? That’s so edgy.”
Raphael ignored her.
The man’s gaze then landed on Lily. “And who’s this? A new recruit?”
Gabriel grinned, throwing an arm around Lily’s shoulders. “Something like that.”
Lily froze. “I AM NOT A RECRUIT.”
The man laughed. “Cute. You bring your girlfriend to business meetings now?”
Lily’s soul left her body.
EXCUSE ME?!
Raphael’s expression turned dangerously cold. “Watch your words.”
Lily gulped. Oh. He’s mad.
Gabriel just smiled. Oh no. He’s worse.
The scarred man didn’t back down. “You’re slipping, Blackfang. Bringing in outsiders? That’s a weakness.”
Lily panicked.
Before Raphael could respond, she blurted out the first thing that came to mind.
“Yeah, and you’re bringing in outdated threats like a low-budget villain.”
Silence.
Nathan, who had snuck in just to watch the drama, wheezed.
Gabriel grinned proudly.
Raphael tilted his head.
The scarred man looked offended. “Excuse me?”
Lily mentally facepalmed. “I—I mean, come on, dude. If you’re going to try intimidating us, at least use something original. ‘You’re slipping, Blackfang’? Really? That’s some 90s action movie dialogue.”
Gabriel laughed. “She’s got a point.”
Raphael gave her a look.
Lily silently pleaded for her life.
The scarred man gritted his teeth. “You think this is a joke?”
Lily immediately nodded. “Yes, actually.”
Gabriel snorted. “God, I love her.”
Raphael just sighed. “Enough.”
In the span of two seconds, he pulled out a gun and aimed it at the man’s head.
Lily screamed. “WAITWAITWAIT, VIOLENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER.”
Gabriel grinned. “In the mafia, it is.”
Lily groaned. “WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?”
---
Somehow, This Ends in a Promotion
By some miracle, Lily managed to talk their way out of a shootout.
(Translation: She accidentally confused the enemy so much that they just gave up.)
And the result?
✔ Lily was now ‘officially’ part of the mafia.
✔ She had gained a reputation as Raphael’s ‘fearless strategist’ (even though she was terrified 24/7).
✔ Gabriel and Raphael were now even more possessive of her.
Lily groaned as she flopped onto her bed that night.
She was DOOMED.
Nathan peeked into her room. “Soooo… how’s mafia life treating you?”
Lily grabbed a pillow and screamed into it.
Nathan nodded. “That good, huh?”
Gabriel’s voice called from the hallway. “Get some rest, princess. You’ve got another mission tomorrow.”
Lily died inside.
This was her life now.
And she wasn’t sure if she loved it or hated it.
