Chapter 11: Help, My Life Is a Mafia Dating Sim
Lily had one rule in life: Avoid unnecessary drama.
…Okay, that was a lie.
She actively walked into drama. But this time, it wasn’t her fault!
Raphael and Gabriel were supposed to be in love with each other, not making flirty comments at her!
Nathan, ever the responsible bodyguard, was currently glaring at her from across the car. “You’re thinking something stupid, aren’t you?”
Lily crossed her arms. “I was thinking about running away to another country.”
Nathan sighed. “Good idea. Let’s go.”
Lily groaned. “I was joking!”
Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose. “You shouldn’t be. You don’t seem to understand how dangerous this situation is.”
Lily waved him off. “Pfft. I’ll be fine.”
Nathan stared at her. “They’re mafia bosses, Vanessa. They don’t just flirt for fun.”
Lily huffed. “Maybe they do! Maybe this is just how they mess with people!”
Nathan gave her a blank look. “Are you sure about that?”
Lily paused. “…No.”
Nathan groaned. “Unbelievable.”
Lily sighed. “Look, I just need to fix this. I need to force them into a romantic situation! Make them realize they love each other!”
Nathan raised an eyebrow. “And how do you plan on doing that?”
Lily grinned. “With my incredible matchmaking skills.”
Nathan gave her a look. “Your matchmaking skills suck.”
Lily gasped. “Rude!”
Nathan sighed. “Fine. What’s the plan?”
Lily leaned forward, eyes shining. “Step one: Create a romantic atmosphere. Step two: Lock them in a room together. Step three: Let the power of love do the rest.”
Nathan blinked. “…That’s kidnapping.”
Lily frowned. “…Is it?”
“Yes.”
Lily sighed. “Fine. Plan B: Accidental love confession.”
Nathan groaned. “Do I even want to know?”
Lily smirked. “Of course you do! You’re my partner in crime!”
Nathan rubbed his temples. “I need a new job.”
Lily beamed. “No, you don’t. You love this.”
Nathan muttered, “I hate this.”
Lily clapped her hands. “Okay! Step one: Set up a romantic dinner. Step two: Trick them into talking about their feelings—”
Nathan cut her off. “And if they don’t confess?”
Lily grinned. “Then I accidentally spill wine on them and force them into a compromising situation.”
Nathan stared at her. “You’re going to get yourself killed.”
Lily waved him off. “Relax! What’s the worst that could happen?”
Nathan groaned. “I swear, if you die, I’m not saving you.”
Lily smirked. “Liar.”
Nathan sighed. “Why am I still here?”
Lily grinned. “Because you love me.”
Nathan choked. “I—NO—SHUT UP.”
Lily cackled. “You totally do.”
Nathan groaned. “I hate my life.”
Lily hummed. “And yet, you never leave~”
Nathan muttered, “I should have.”
Lily ignored him and pulled out her phone. “Alright! Time to set up a date!”
Nathan sighed. “This is going to be a disaster.”
Lily smirked. “That’s what makes it fun!”
Nathan groaned. “I hate this.”
Lily laughed.
