(concerned)You should've taken another day off, Ming.

Ming

(shaking his head), Nah, I'm fine. Just need some fresh air.

They turn a corner and spot Kai and Zhi sitting on a bench.

zhi

(concerned), Hey, You okay after what happened?

Ming

(looking down), Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks.

Kai

(silent, observing Ming).

Rui

(nodding), Thanks for helping him out.

zhi

(nodding), No problem.

zhi

I'm Zhi, by the way.

Ming

(nervously) I-I'm Ming... Thanks for... helping me out.

Kai

(briefly) Kai.

Rui

I'm Rui. Thanks, guys.

Ming

(handing Kai his blazer) Y-you lent me this... yesterday...

Kai

(takes the blazer, still disinterested) Yeah.

zhi

No need to thank us. Just glad we were there.

Ming

(quietly) Thanks... again...

zhi

(Teasingly) Can't you be friendly, Kai? He's cute and you're acting so rude.

Kai

(Expressionless) Don't get involved in things that aren't your business.

zhi

(Laughs) Oh, come on.

Kai

I just don't see the point in getting friendly with someone we'll never see again.

Kai Takes out the blazer from his bag to wear it.

As he puts it on, a sweet, vanilla-like scent hits his nostrils.

Kai

(Pauses, momentarily lost in thought, his expression softening ever so slightly)

zhi

(Notices Kai's sudden pause and raised an eyebrow) What's wrong?

Kai

(Snaps back to reality, his expression returning to normal) Nothing.

zhi

(Amused) Oh, come on. You were totally zoning out there for a second. What's got you so distracted?

Kai

(Irritated) Just drop it, Zhi.

Rui

(Teasingly) I don't get why you gave him back the blazer. You could've just called him separately and thanked him.

Ming

(Sheepishly) I-I just thought to just return it...

Rui

(Nagging) you could've impressed him with your cuteness! Now you'll never see him again.

Ming

(Blushing) R-Rui, stop it...




