Episode 06
The town’s central park was blanketed in a thick layer of pristine snow, the branches of trees heavy with icicles that glittered in the winter sun. The air was crisp and cold, but the laughter and chatter of Jungkook’s friends filled the park with warmth.

Alright, listen up!
Jin called out, his voice carrying over the playful chaos.
Kim Seokjin
We’re splitting into two teams—Alphas versus Omegas! No mercy!
Taehyung echoed, raising an eyebrow as a playful smirk tugged at his lips. He glanced at Jungkook, who was bundling himself up tighter in his oversized scarf, his rosy cheeks puffed out in determination.
Kim Taehyung
I don’t think your team stands a chance, bunny.
Jungkook huffed, narrowing his eyes at the alpha.
Jeon Jungkook
We’ll see about that, H-Y-U-N-G.
Tae chuckles at Kook’s silly behaviour of teasing him.
The teams were quickly decided. On the Alpha side were Taehyung, Namjoon, and Yoongi. The Omegas consisted of Jungkook, Jimin, and Jin. Hoseok, declaring himself the neutral referee, stood off to the side, blowing a whistle he’d brought specifically for the occasion.
Jung Hoseok
Let the battle begin!
He announced dramatically, stepping back as snowballs began to fly.
Jungkook wasted no time scooping up a handful of snow and forming it into a ball.
he shouted to Jimin and Jin, who immediately started hurling snowballs toward the Alphas to distract them.
Taehyung dodged gracefully, his movements almost too smooth for the chaos of the snowball fight.

Is that all you’ve got?
he teased, his deep voice carrying easily over the field.
Jungkook’s pout deepened. He crouched behind a makeshift fort of piled snow, peeking out just enough to spot Taehyung. The alpha was standing confidently, a smirk on his face, completely unaware of the snowball Jungkook was preparing.
Jungkook thought, biting his lip as he aimed.
He hurled the snowball with all his might, watching as it sailed through the air in slow motion. To his surprise—and slight disbelief—it landed squarely on Taehyung’s chest.
Taehyung gasped dramatically, clutching his chest as though he’d been mortally wounded.
Kim Taehyung
You got me, Jungkook-ah!
The alpha staggered backward, falling to the ground in an exaggerated collapse.
Kim Taehyung
Tell my pack… I fought bravely.
he groaned, peeking through one eye to gauge Jungkook’s reaction.
Jungkook stared for a moment before bursting into soft giggles, the sound bright and musical.
Jeon Jungkook
You’re so ridiculous, Hyung!
he said, his earlier pout disappearing entirely.
Kim Taehyung
Ridiculous, but effective.
Taehyung replied, grinning as he quickly sat up and tossed a snowball in Jungkook’s direction. It missed by a mile, but the gesture made Jungkook laugh even harder.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group was in their own snowball chaos. Namjoon tripped over a branch and went down with a loud thud, causing Jimin and Jin to double over in laughter.
Yoongi, ever the strategist, had built a sturdy snow fort and was calmly launching perfectly shaped snowballs at anyone who dared come near.
Kim Taehyung
Namjoon-hyung, you’re supposed to be leading us!
Taehyung called out, dodging another snowball from Jin.
Namjoon groaned, brushing snow off his coat.
As the battle raged on, Taehyung found himself gravitating toward Jungkook. The omega was glowing with happiness, his eyes sparkling as he ducked and dodged, his cheeks flushed from the cold.
Jungkook shouted triumphantly as another snowball hit Taehyung’s arm.
Taehyung chuckled, pretending to wipe imaginary tears.
Kim Taehyung
I admit defeat, Jungkook-ah. You’re too good. 🥲
Jungkook’s giggles filled the air, and for the first time, Taehyung saw him truly relaxed, without the guarded pout or shy hesitance. It was a sight that warmed him more than any winter coat ever could.
The game finally ended with Jin blowing his whistle, declaring the Omegas the victors.
Jung Hoseok
Good job, everyone!
Hoseok said, clapping his hands.
Jimin cheered, high-fiving Jin and Jungkook.
Jungkook turned to Taehyung, his eyes sparkling.
Jeon Jungkook
Better luck next time, hyung.
Taehyung smirked, leaning down slightly to meet Jungkook’s gaze.
Kim Taehyung
I let you win, bunny. You know that, right?
Jungkook’s pout returned, but it was softer this time, more playful.
Jeon Jungkook
Sure you did.
he mumbled, trying to suppress a grin.
Taehyung chuckled, ruffling Jungkook’s hair before stepping back.
Kim Taehyung
Come on, let’s get some cocoa. I’ll even buy you a marshmallow.
Jeon Jungkook
Two marshmallows. 😃
As the group made their way to the nearby café, their laughter echoing through the snowy park, Taehyung couldn’t help but smile to himself.
Slowly but surely, Jungkook was warming up to him—and Taehyung was determined to keep that precious smile on Jungkook’s face.
