Episode 13

Tripti's heart was racing as she showed the message to Reyansh. "What does this mean?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Reyansh's face was grim. "I don't know," he said. "But I think we're about to find out."

Just then, the TV in the living room flickered to life, and a news anchor's voice filled the room.

"Breaking news, we have just received word that a shocking video has been released, allegedly showing Reyansh, the husband of Tripti, in a compromising position with Naina, the woman who claims to be carrying his child."

Tripti's eyes widened in horror as she watched the video play on the TV screen. It was a grainy, poorly lit video, but there was no mistaking the figures on the screen. Reyansh and Naina were embracing, their lips locked in a passionate kiss.

Tripti felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Reyansh, her husband, the man she loved and trusted, was kissing another woman.

Reyansh's face was ashen as he turned to Tripti. "I can explain," he said, his voice shaking.

But Tripti just shook her head. "No," she said, her voice cold. "I don't want to hear it. I need some time to process this."

Reyansh nodded, looking defeated. "I understand," he said. "But please, Tripti, don't jump to conclusions. There's more to this story than you think."

But Tripti just turned and walked away, leaving Reyansh standing alone in the living room, the TV still blaring in the background.

Tripti walked into the bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her. She felt like she was going to explode. How could Reyansh do this to her? How could he betray her trust like this?

She paced back and forth across the room, trying to process her emotions. She felt angry, hurt, and betrayed. She didn't know if she could ever forgive Reyansh for this.

As she paced, she heard a knock at the door. "Tripti, please let me in," Reyansh said, his voice pleading. "I need to explain what's going on."

Tripti hesitated for a moment, then opened the door. Reyansh stood in the doorway, looking contrite.

"Please, Tripti, just listen to me," he said. "I know what you saw on the video, but it's not what it looks like. Naina and I...we were just friends, okay? We were just friends, and that video was taken out of context."

Tripti raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Friends?" she repeated. "You expect me to believe that you and Naina were just friends?"

Reyansh nodded, his eyes locked on hers. "Yes, Tripti, I do. I know it's hard to believe, but it's the truth. Naina and I...we have a past, okay? We used to date, but it was a long time ago. And that video...it was taken when we were still together."

Tripti's eyes narrowed, her mind racing. She wasn't sure if she believed Reyansh's story, but a part of her wanted to. She wanted to believe that he was telling the truth, that he wasn't cheating on her.

But just as she was starting to feel a glimmer of hope, Tripti's phone rang. She hesitated for a moment, then answered it.

"Hello?" she said, her voice cautious.

"Tripti, it's Lyra," said the voice on the other end of the line. "I just saw the video of Reyansh and Naina. I'm so sorry, Tripti. I had no idea."

Tripti sighed, feeling a sense of frustration. "Thanks, Lyra," she said. "But I need to figure out what's going on. I need to talk to Reyansh and get to the bottom of this."

Lyra nodded, even though Tripti couldn't see her. "I understand, Tripti. But be careful, okay? Naina seems like a really manipulative person. I don't trust her."

Tripti nodded, feeling a sense of unease. "I'll be careful, Lyra" she said. "Thanks for looking out for me."

As she hung up the phone, Tripti turned to Reyansh, her eyes locked on his. "I need to know the truth, Reyansh," she said. "I need to know what's going on with you and Naina."

Reyansh took a deep breath, his eyes locked on hers. "I'll tell you everything, Tripti," he said. "I promise. Just please, don't jump to conclusions. Let me explain."

Tripti nodded, her eyes never leaving Reyansh's face. "I'll listen," she said. "But you need to tell me the truth. No more lies, no more secrets. I deserve to know what's going on."

Reyansh took a deep breath, his eyes locked on hers. "I know," he said. "And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not being honest with you from the start. But I was trying to protect you, Tripti. I was trying to protect you from Naina's games."

Tripti raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "What do you mean?" she asked.

Reyansh hesitated, looking uncertain. "Naina and I...we have a past, Tripti. We used to date, but it was a long time ago. And even though we broke up, Naina never really got over me. She's been trying to win me back ever since."

Tripti's eyes widened in shock. "And the video?" she asked.

Reyansh's face darkened. "The video was taken out of context," he said. "Naina and I were just friends at the time, and we were just joking around. But Naina...she's been using that video to blackmail me. She's been threatening to release it to the press unless I do what she wants."

Tripti's eyes narrowed, her mind racing. She wasn't sure if she believed Reyansh's story, but a part of her wanted to. She wanted to believe that he was telling the truth, that he wasn't cheating on her.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. "That must be the press," Reyansh said, his face grim. "They're going to want a statement from us."

Tripti nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. She knew that the press was going to be relentless, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for it.

But as she looked at Reyansh, she knew that she had to stand by him. She had to support him, no matter what.

"Let's do this," she said, her voice firm.

Reyansh nodded, his eyes locked on hers. "Together," he said.

And with that, they walked out of the bedroom, ready to face the press and whatever lay ahead.

As they walked into the living room, Tripti was immediately struck by the number of reporters and camera crews that had gathered outside their home. The room was filled with the sound of shouting and camera clicks, and Tripti felt a sense of overwhelm wash over her.

Reyansh took her hand, his eyes locked on hers. "We can do this," he said. "We just need to be honest and tell the truth."

Tripti nodded, taking a deep breath. She knew that she had to be strong, not just for herself, but for Reyansh and their marriage.

The reporters began to shout out questions, asking about the video and Naina's claims. Reyansh held up his hands, asking for silence.

"We'll answer your questions," he said. "But first, we need to set the record straight. The video that was released was taken out of context. Naina and I were just friends at the time, and we were just joking around."

The reporters began to shout out more questions, but Reyansh held firm. "We'll answer your questions," he repeated. "But we need to do it in a way that is respectful and honest."

Tripti felt a sense of pride and admiration for Reyansh. He was handling the situation with grace and dignity, and she knew that she could always count on him to do the right thing.

As the press conference continued, Tripti and Reyansh answered question after question, telling the truth and setting the record straight. It wasn't easy, but they did it together, as a team.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the press conference came to an end. The reporters and camera crews packed up their equipment and left, leaving Tripti and Reyansh alone in their living room.

Tripti turned to Reyansh, her eyes locked on his. "Thank you," she said. "Thank you for being honest and telling the truth."

Reyansh smiled, his eyes filled with love and admiration. "I'll always be honest with you, Tripti," he said. "I promise."

Tripti turned to Reyansh, her eyes locked on his. "Thank you for being honest," she said. "I appreciate it.

Reyansh nodded, his eyes serious. "I'm sorry again for not being honest with you from the start," he said. "I know I hurt you, and for that, I'm truly sorry."

Tripti nodded, feeling a sense of closure. She knew that she and Reyansh still had a long way to go, but she was willing to work on their marriage and rebuild their trust.

But then she remembered the pregnancy. "What about the pregnancy?" she asked Reyansh, her voice firm. "Is it true? Is Naina really carrying your child?"

Reyansh's face darkened, and he looked away. "I don't know," he said. "I mean, it's possible. We did have a relationship in the past, and..."

Tripti felt a surge of anger and hurt. "So you're saying that you might be the father of Naina's child?" she asked, her voice cold.

Reyansh nodded, his eyes locked on hers. "I'm saying that it's possible," he said. "But I need to take a paternity test to be sure."

Tripti felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Reyansh might be the father of Naina's child? It was too much to bear.
