Episode 5

The next morning, Tripti woke up early, feeling a mix of emotions. She was still hurt from Reyansh's harsh words, but she was determined to move on and ignore him.

She got dressed in a beautiful yellow salwar kameez, her hair tied up in a neat bun. She looked stunning, but her eyes still held a hint of sadness.

As she walked downstairs, she was greeted by her family members, who were all busy in the kitchen, preparing breakfast.

"Good morning, beta!" her mother-in-law, Jaya, exclaimed, giving her a warm hug. "How are you today?"

Tripti forced a smile, not wanting to worry her family. "I'm fine, Mummy ji. Just a little tired."

Her father-in-law, Jay, looked at her with concern. "Beta, you're not eating properly, are you? You're looking a bit pale."

Tripti shook her head. "No, Papa ji. I'm eating fine. Just a bit stressed, that's all."

Her sister-in-law, Rachita, who was sitting at the breakfast table, looked at her with curiosity. "Tripti Bhabhi, what's going on? You seem a bit upset."

Tripti hesitated, not wanting to share her problems with her family. "Nothing, Rachita. Just a bit tired, that's all."

Just then, Reyansh walked into the kitchen, looking handsome in his white shirt and black pants. Tripti's eyes met his, and she felt a surge of anger and hurt.

She deliberately turned her back on him, ignoring him completely. Reyansh's eyes narrowed, and he looked at her with a mixture of anger and frustration.

"Tripti, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his voice cold and detached.

Tripti didn't even bother to turn around. "I'm busy, Reyansh. Can't you see I'm eating breakfast with my family?"

Reyansh's face darkened, and he took a step closer to her. "Tripti, I'm talking to you. You can't just ignore me like this."

Tripti finally turned around, her eyes flashing with anger. "Why not? You ignored me and hurt me yesterday. Why should I talk to you now?"

Ryan, Reyansh's brother, who was sitting at the breakfast table, looked at them with concern. "Hey, guys, what's going on?" he asked, trying to intervene.

But Tripti and Reyansh were too caught up in their argument to listen. The tension between them was palpable, and it seemed like things were about to escalate..!

"Nothing, Ryan," Reyansh snapped, his eyes still fixed on Tripti. "Just a little disagreement between me and my wife."

Tripti's eyes flashed with anger at the way Reyansh said "my wife", as if she was some kind of possession. "I'm not your possession, Reyansh," she said, her voice low and even. "I'm a person with my own thoughts and feelings. And right now, I'm feeling pretty angry with you."

Reyansh's face darkened, and he took a step closer to Tripti. "You're angry with me?" he repeated, his voice rising. "You're the one who's been ignoring me all morning. You're the one who's been acting like a child."

Tripti's eyes narrowed, and she stood up to face Reyansh. "I'm not acting like a child," she said, her voice firm. "I'm acting like a woman who's been hurt by her husband. And I deserve an apology."

The kitchen fell silent, with all eyes on Tripti and Reyansh. Jay and Jaya exchanged a worried glance, while Ryan looked on in concern. Rachita, however, looked like she was enjoying the drama.

Reyansh's face twisted in a scowl, and he looked like he was about to say something hurtful. But then he seemed to think better of it, and he turned on his heel and walked out of the kitchen.

The silence that followed was awkward, to say the least. Tripti stood there, her heart still racing from the argument. Jay and Jaya looked at each other, unsure of what to say. Ryan got up and put a hand on Tripti's shoulder.

"Hey, Tripti, are you okay?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Tripti nodded, still feeling a bit shaken. "Yeah, I'm fine, Ryan. Thanks for asking."

Rachita, who had been watching the whole scene with interest, finally spoke up. "Well, that was certainly dramatic," she said, a sly smile spreading across her face. "I do love a good fight, don't you, Tripti?"

Tripti rolled her eyes, not in the mood for Rachita's drama. "Not really, Rachita," she said dryly. "I'd rather just have a peaceful breakfast, if you don't mind."

Rachita pouted, but Tripti just ignored her and sat back down at the table. She was determined to enjoy her breakfast, no matter what drama was going on around her.
