As Tripti sat back down at the table, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The argument with Reyansh had left her feeling shaken, and she couldn't help but wonder what would happen next.
Ryan, sensing her unease, put a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, Tripti, don't let Reyansh get to you," he said softly. "He's just stressed out with work and stuff. He didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
Tripti smiled weakly, appreciating Ryan's attempt to defend his brother. But deep down, she knew that Reyansh's words had cut her deep. She couldn't just forget about it and move on.
Just then, Jaya got up from the table and came over to Tripti. "Beta, come with me," she said softly. "I want to talk to you about something."
Tripti nodded, getting up from the table and following Jaya out of the kitchen. As they walked, Tripti couldn't help but wonder what Jaya wanted to talk to her about. Was it about Reyansh? Or was it something else entirely?
As they reached the living room, Jaya sat down on the couch and motioned for Tripti to sit down next to her. "Beta, I know what happened between you and Reyansh this morning," she said softly. "And I want you to know that I'm here for you. If you need to talk or just need someone to listen, I'm here."
Tripti felt a lump form in her throat as she looked at Jaya. She was touched by Jaya's kindness and concern. "Thank you, Mummy ji," she said softly. "That means a lot to me."
Jaya smiled and put a hand on Tripti's shoulder. "I know Reyansh can be difficult sometimes," she said. "But he's a good person deep down. And I know he loves you, beta."
Tripti raised an eyebrow, surprised by Jaya's words. Did Reyansh really love her? Or was Jaya just trying to make her feel better?
Tripti looked at Jaya, searching for answers. "Mummy ji, are you sure Reyansh loves me?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jaya nodded, a gentle smile on her face. "Yes, beta, I'm sure. Reyansh can be stubborn and proud, but he's a good person. And I've seen the way he looks at you, the way he cares for you. He loves you, Tripti."
Tripti's heart skipped a beat as she heard Jaya's words. Could it be true? Did Reyansh really love her? She thought back to their argument earlier, to the hurtful things he had said. But she also remembered the way he had looked at her, the way he had touched her.
Just then, Ryan walked into the living room, a concerned look on his face. "Mummy ji, is everything okay?" he asked, noticing the serious expressions on their faces.
Jaya nodded, smiling. "Yes, beta, everything is fine. Tripti and I were just having a little chat."
Ryan nodded, looking relieved. "Okay, good. I was worried something was wrong."
Tripti smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Ryan. He was always so kind and caring, always looking out for her.
Just then, the doorbell rang, breaking the silence. "I'll get it," Ryan said, getting up from the couch.
As Ryan walked out of the living room, Tripti couldn't help but wonder who it could be. Was it someone from Reyansh's office? Or maybe a friend or family member?
As she waited for Ryan to return, Tripti's mind wandered back to her conversation with Jaya. Did Reyansh really love her? And if so, why did he treat her so badly?
