As the Roy family accepted Tripti with open arms, Reyansh's anger and frustration simmered just below the surface. He couldn't believe that his parents had accepted this sudden change without consulting him. He had been mentally prepared to marry Rhea, and now he was stuck with a stranger.
Tripti, on the other hand, was trying to wrap her head around the sudden turn of events. She had never imagined that she would end up marrying Reyansh Roy, and now she was faced with the daunting task of adjusting to her new life.
As the family returned to the Roy mansion, Reyansh's anger boiled over. He confronted his parents, demanding to know why they had accepted Tripti without consulting him.
"Reyansh, beta, please understand," Jaya Roy said, trying to calm him down. "We didn't have a choice. The Chauhans were in a difficult situation, and we couldn't just leave them hanging."
"But why did you accept Tripti without asking me?" Reyansh demanded. "I was supposed to marry Rhea, not some stranger."
"Tripti is not a stranger, Reyansh," Jay Roy said firmly. "She is your wife now, and you need to accept her."
Reyansh's face darkened, and he turned to Tripti, who was watching the scene unfold with a mixture of fear and curiosity.
"Let's get one thing straight," Reyansh said, his voice cold and detached. "I didn't choose you, Tripti. You were thrust upon me, and I will do my duty as your husband. But don't expect me to be all lovey-dovey with you. I'm not interested in playing games or pretending to be something I'm not."
Tripti felt a sting from Reyansh's words, but she refused to back down. She stood tall, looking him straight in the eye.
"I'm not interested in playing games either, Reyansh," she said, her voice firm and confident. "I'm here because of circumstances beyond my control. But I'm not going to let you bully me or make me feel like I'm some kind of consolation prize. I deserve respect, and I expect it from you."
Reyansh's eyes narrowed, and he felt a spark of surprise at Tripti's boldness. He hadn't expected her to stand up to him like that. But he was determined not to let her get the better of him.
"We'll see about that," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Welcome to the family, Tripti. I'm sure you'll fit right in."
And with that, Reyansh turned and walked away, leaving Tripti feeling both relieved and intimidated. She knew that she had a long and difficult road ahead of her, but she was determined to prove herself and earn the respect of her new husband and his family.
Reyansh came back in the hall.
" I'm not going to share room with you.Go and sleep in Guest Room" he said firmly to Tripti.
"Shut up, Reyansh! She is your wife and our daughter more than daughter-in-law! Did I taught you to disrespect women?? Don't make me doubt my upbringing, Reyansh!" Jaya shouted aloud.
"Listen, Mom and Dad! I said you beforehand only that I don't want to marry! At that time I was clear as hell! I even don't wanted to marry that Rhea nor her!
In fact, I never wanted to marry! But , I did just for you! And , now you are even forcing me to share my room? That's not fair!" said Reyansh while sending Tripti angry glares.
Tripti sensed a sense of disrespect against her sister and herself.
" Shut up! Even I wasn't longing to marry you and nor was my sister! She never wanted to marry someone like you. I won't hear a word of disrespect against me or my family! Don't consider me a geek! I can take stand for myself!" said Tripti in rage.
Reyansh got fumed.
Jaya calmed them down and sent them for their room!
◇~IN ROOM~◇
In room:-
Reyansh:- I will sleep on bed! You can sleep on couch!
Tripti:- OH you! Shut up! This room is also mine , now!
I'll sleep on bed, and of you, idk!
Reyansh:- Alright! You can, I respect women!
Tripti (while mimicking) :- " I respect women!"
She sat in front of dressing and started to take her jewelry out.
Tripti opened her suitcase and took out a pair of cord set and went in bathroom to get changed.
She came out while wearing pant, but with blouse at upper body.
" Uh! Young lady! Aren't you ashamed? I know we are married, but we aren't supposed to do ' IT'!" said Reyansh hesitantly.
" Shut up, grumpy man! Call mother in the room, I'm not able to untie my blouse laces!" said Tripti while covering herself with towel.
" oh,uh! Sure!" Said Reyansh turning his head in opposite side.
He went out to check for his mother.
" Mother isn't there nor rachita! She might be sleeping, wait! I'll wake her up!" said reyansh.
" No,No,no! She might be in deep sleep! It's almost 2.am! She is exhausted! Let her sleep!" said Tripti.
"Then how would you deal with it??" Asked Reyansh.
" I'll try!" said Tripti.
She was struggling with the laces. Watching her struggling with laces, reyansh passed a smile.
" If you don't mind, may I help you out? see, I'm not having any bad intentions, I'm just trying to help you!" said reyansh hesitantly.
"We'll, ya! There is no other option left!" She was embarrassed as hell.
Reyansh walked over to Tripti, his hands reaching out to help her with the laces. Tripti felt a surge of embarrassment as Reyansh's fingers brushed against her skin. She tried to pull away, but Reyansh's hands were gentle, yet firm.
"It's okay, I've got it," he said softly, his breath whispering against her ear.
Tripti felt a shiver run down her spine as Reyansh's fingers worked to untie the laces. She couldn't help but notice the way his eyes crinkled at the corners as he concentrated, or the way his hair curled slightly at the nape of his neck.
As the laces came undone, Tripti felt a sense of relief wash over her. She quickly pulled the blouse off, holding it against her chest as she turned to face Reyansh.
"Thank you," she said softly, her eyes meeting his.
Reyansh smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Anytime," he said, his voice low and husky.
For a moment, they just stood there, looking at each other. Tripti felt a sense of awkwardness wash over her, but Reyansh just smiled and turned away.
"I'll let you get changed," he said, his voice soft. "I'll be outside."
Tripti nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She quickly changed into cord set, feeling a sense of exhaustion wash over her.
As she climbed into bed, she couldn't help but think about Reyansh. He had been kind and gentle, helping her with the laces. But there was still a sense of tension between them, a sense of unease that Tripti couldn't quite explain.
As she drifted off to sleep, Tripti couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her and Reyansh. Would they be able to overcome their differences and find happiness together? Or would their marriage be a disaster, a mistake that they would both regret?
Only time would tell.
