Shea stared at Zayn, who was kneeling in front of a freshly dug grave. She didn't dare to approach him, only standing near a large tree, holding a black umbrella that matched the clothes she was wearing. Not only her, everyone else at the grave was also wearing the same black clothes.
"Miss, should we go home now?" asked Shea's assistant, who was standing right next to her.
"Wait a minute, I still want to wait for him," Shea replied.
One by one, people left after offering their condolences to Zayn. Only Zayn remained, along with two women of different ages who had not yet left. The two women were none other than Mrs. Devi and Lita. They were still accompanying Zayn, who was devastated by the departure of his grandmother.
"Zayn, I'm so sorry for your loss," said Lita, stroking Zayn's shoulder.
"Thank you. You've helped me take care of Grandma all this time," Zayn replied, looking at Lita who was standing beside him.
"You're welcome, I already considered Grandma as my own grandmother," Lita replied, which was only answered with a thin smile by Zayn.
Their interaction did not escape Shea's attention. The woman frowned behind her dark glasses. Somehow, Shea felt strange about Zayn and Lita's closeness. She didn't like seeing them together, for some reason.
"Why do they look so close? Are... are they dating?" Shea thought.
Lita asked Zayn to go home because the weather was starting to get cloudy. Reluctantly, Zayn obeyed. He went home with Lita and her mother, leaving Shea still there watching him go. She didn't dare to disturb Zayn, so she chose not to approach.
"Miss, should we follow them?" Shea's assistant asked, seeing Zayn getting further away. She knew that her boss had been here all along to monitor the man's departure. Suddenly, Shea remembered Grandma Dian's words before she breathed her last.
"Don't let Zayn know who his parents are. If he finds out..."
"He'll hate his birth? What's wrong with Zayn knowing about his parents? Why should he hate his own birth?" Shea muttered.
Meanwhile, Kai was annoyed because his mommy didn't pick him up from school. So, he had to wait for the driver to pick him up. While waiting, Kai stood in front of the gate. He could only see his friends being picked up by their fathers and mothers. Of course, Kai felt jealous. He wanted to be like them, but realized he couldn't.
"Kai hasn't been picked up yet!" shouted a little girl with two pigtails who suddenly came to surprise Kai.
"Can't you see?! Why ask?!" Kai snapped.
"My mommy and daddy already picked me up. Mommy said your parents are already separated. Poor you, your parents are separated," the girl teased.
Kai clenched his fists and glared at the girl who was older than him. "You WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN?! SAY IT AGAIN AND I'LL PUNCH YOUR BROKEN TEETH!" he shouted angrily.
The girl's smile faded, she held her mouth with teary eyes. "Just you wait, I'll tell my mom." She ran away, leaving Kai trying to control his emotions.
"Go ahead and tell her! As if I have a mom! Mommy said Daddy is on a business trip," Kai grumbled in annoyance.

Zayn fell asleep in his grandmother's room, in his arms were a photo and clothes belonging to his grandmother. The man's grief lingered until he accidentally fell asleep. The clock already showed eleven o'clock at night, there was no sign of him waking up. Until suddenly, a knock on the door made Zayn slightly disturbed.
Knock!
Knock!
Zayn woke up from his sleep, his head feeling a little dizzy. He thought, maybe it was because he had been crying for too long that made his head feel heavy. Slowly, he got out of the wooden bed and walked to the door to open it. He didn't know who the guest was who came this late at night, maybe one of the residents who wanted to offer condolences?
Click!
"Mrs. Boss?!" Zayn was surprised to see Shea standing before him.
"I came to see how you were doing, for some reason I was worried about you. Are you okay?" Shea asked worriedly.
Zayn glanced around his rented house, which looked deserted. Making sure no one was watching, Zayn pulled Shea's hand into his house. Worried, someone might see Shea coming to his rented house this late at night. Indeed, the two were married. However, their marriage was still a secret.
"Mrs. Boss, what are you doing here? It's late at night, what if the residents see us?" Zayn chided.
"Let them be, we're legally married, aren't we?" Shea replied casually.
Zayn was silent because what Shea said was true. He then stepped into a room located in the corner of the room. Not long after, the man returned carrying the same bag that Shea had given him. Quickly, he handed the bag right in front of Shea.
"Mrs. Boss, I'm returning this money. We don't love each other, I agreed to this because of Grandma. Now, Grandma is gone. So, there's no reason for me to remain your husband," Zayn said, bowing his head.
"Have you forgotten the contents of our agreement? You have to pay it back twice as much. Remember Zayn, you signed it and I can sue you." Shea's words made Zayn's eyes widen, he forgot about their agreement.
Zayn looked at the bag full of money that he was going to use for his grandmother's treatment. The money was there, but his grandmother was gone. Again, Zayn cried. He hugged the bag with his tears streaming down his cheeks. His chest felt tight, the departure of his grandmother made him very devastated.
"Don't cry anymore, Grandma would be sad to see you keep crying for her," Shea said.
"You won't understand," Zayn sobbed.
"I understand, because I've lost my dad," Shea replied, which made Zayn stop crying.
Shea's gaze shifted to a plate of rice and side dishes on the table. Maybe, the food was given by a neighbor seeing Zayn's condition who must have not had time to eat all day.
"Come here." Shea pulled Zayn's hand towards a long rattan chair. Forced, Zayn followed where the beautiful woman was taking him.
"Sit down," Shea ordered.
After Zayn sat down next to her, Shea took the plate. She scooped up the rice and side dishes and handed it to Zayn. With a confused look, the man just opened his mouth hesitantly. He was still thinking about Shea's attitude towards him at the moment.
"You're hungry, aren't you? Now eat," Shea scolded.
Zayn stared intently at the beautiful woman, he admitted that Shea was very beautiful. Even though the woman's expression was mostly cold and flat, her gentle aura was still visible. According to him, Shea was a woman who had motherly qualities. Maybe because she already had a child.
Seeing Zayn's pale face, Shea reflexively put the back of her hand on the man's neck. Suddenly, Zayn's blood rushed strangely. His heart was beating very fast, his gaze locked on the woman's worried expression. Zayn swallowed hard, making his Adam's apple move up and down.
"Your body is a little hot, maybe because you've been crying too..." Shea stopped talking when her eyes met Zayn's. Their gazes locked on each other, as if the husband and wife were exploring their feelings through each other's eyes.
"Ahem!" Zayn cleared his throat softly to break the silence. Suddenly, Shea became awkward. She withdrew her hand and returned to her flat expression.
BREESS!
They were both startled when they heard the sound of heavy rain. Zayn turned to Shea, who looked worried. "You brought your car, right?" Zayn asked his wife.
"Yes, but I don't dare to drive in heavy rain like this," Shea replied with a worried look.
"In that case, just stay the night. You can go home before sunrise," Zayn suggested, which was answered with a nod of agreement by Shea. There was no way she would go home late at night and in this rain. It was her own fault for not bringing an umbrella.
"But my clothes..."
"Grandma has a muumuu, you can wear it." Zayn replied casually.
"Muumuu? What's a muumuu?"
"Eh?!"
Triple, guys 😍"
