Episode 7

Mikkel left the house early in the morning, he had to get a well-paying job to support himself each month until the divorce date.

As expected, the stares from people directed at him followed him all the time.

Mikkel didn't mind and kept walking.

There were some job postings, but they didn't take him into account when he approached to ask for the details of the different jobs.

"This is ridiculous", Mikkel sat down on the bench outside a store to have some water.

He had walked too much and was tired.

The reason they ignored him was because of his husband's lover.

"Are they all his fans?", he wondered annoyed.

It was understandable, since that omega was the protagonist of the novel he was reading, but this situation was still ridiculous.

That omega's name was Andrew Collins, a rising model.

Mikkel was thinking about what to do when the screams of some young ladies rang out near him.

"It's Andrew!"

"He looks so cute!"

The girls shouted.

Mikkel looked up to where the girls were fixing their gaze, on the advertisement screens in the large buildings, the image of a young omega began to play, it was a commercial.

The handsome omega reflected his great charm through the screens.

"So it's him," Mikkel murmured.

The commercial was a collaboration with a new fragrance, Mikkel stared at the commercial until the end.

"He has a nice smile, but he is very stiff and has no expression, I would not buy that perfume," he opined after the commercial was over.

The girls who were nearby overheard him and looked at him angrily.

"What could someone like you know?"

"You're just saying that out of envy, all the products Andrew advertises sell out quickly."

They said, complaining to Mikkel.

"It must be the same people who always buy his products, I bet you buy whole packages to make sales go up, I know that method," Mikkel replied.

Several of his friends would do that when a product from one of their favorite celebrities came out.

"I bet he buys several of those products himself," Mikkel added.

The girls got angrier and tried to hit him, but Mikkel ran away when he saw them and hurried away.

He stopped when he was further away and sat down to catch his breath.

Just behind him, a young man also stopped to catch his breath.

"Did they chase you too?" Mikkel asked.

"... No, I came after you," the young man said.

Mikkel became alert, the young man looked suspicious with his face all covered.

"I have no money," Mikkel said, moving away from the young man.

The young man caught his breath, pulled out a business card and handed it to Mikkel.

"It's not that, I work at this agency, I thought you might be interested," the young man explained.

Mikkel took the card, Golden House, modeling agency.

"Do you need loaders? How much is the payment?" Mikkel inquired.

The young man smiled as he looked at Mikkel.

"You are not as everyone says, you seem nice," he smiled.

"I thought you could work as a model for the agency, and the pay is good if you do well, I don't think you'd have any problems," the young man said.

"Me? I don't think I would be able to do that, instead, I could do it if it's about carrying equipment or costumes," Mikkel expressed.

"No, I know you'd do well if you entered the modeling world, you could make good money, oh, by the way, my name is Nick, you can call me if you're interested," the young man introduced himself.

After the commercial incident, Nick looked up information about Mr. Kamprad's husband, there wasn't much information, but there were several pictures of the omega at a mall, he was good looking and photogenic.

Nick figured that if there was anyone to curb Andrew's arrogance, it would be Mr. Kamprad's husband, at first he thought about telling him everything his husband was doing for his lover, but they didn't seem like a normal couple, so the best way to annoy Andrew was by having Mikkel close, and what better way than to have him at the same modeling agency.

It was lucky to find him in this place.

"Call me if you are interested, I must go for now," Nick said goodbye.

Mikkel watched the young man leave, put away the card, and went back to the house.

At the house, another visitor awaited him, an elegant woman in a suit greeted him as he entered the living room.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Hyde, it is a pleasure to see you."

"Good afternoon," Mikkel greeted.

"There will be a company party tomorrow night, I have brought what you need to attend," explained the woman.

On the table was a large box with a pretty bow and a smaller box next to it.

"I hope you like it, they will pick you up tomorrow at eight in the evening, have a nice day", the woman said goodbye and left the house.

"Who was that?" Mikkel asked.

"Your husband's assistant," replied Mrs. Romy.

Mikkel thought for a moment and asked with displeasure.
