"I am really so sorry, I promise this won't happen again." Vincent, whose name Jamie had copied, pasted and stamped firmly and deeply in his mind apologized again for the tenth time that hour.
Yeah, Jamie had counted that too.
"It's okay, you have your reasons for coming late." Jamie replied lowly as he watched the boy tucked Chanel's into his car-latest BMW-X5 backseat, making sure he puts on the child safety strap lock before closing the door and turning to Jamie who finds himself embarrassed from watching the boy stupidly while he does his thing.
Looking down at his feet in embarrassment, Jamie looked up once again at the boy when he heard him talked. "You are Chanel's teacher?"
Giving a short nods, "Y-yes, I-I teach-her-I-yea I am her teacher" Jamie mentally smacked his head for making a fool of himself, why is he stuttering?
"Thank you for staying with her till I arrive."
"It's okay, that's my job as her teacher." Jamie replied taking a glance at Vincent.
He has a long hair-about the shoulder length, which is tied up in a lose ponytail. Coupled with the eyebrow piercing. Jamie did finds him really handsome.
Jamie looked away immediately he found the guy had caught him staring. He could feel his heart racing. He was embarrassed.
"Okay then, I will leave" Vincent smile lowly making to enter his car.
"Y-yeah, see you later."
Vincent stopped as he turned to Jamie on hearing what he said making Jamie to flushed as he stubbled with what to say. "I-I mean C-chanel, yeah Chanel, I will see her in school tomorrow-later-you know..."
Jamie sucked down on his lower lip as he looks down trying his best not to break down in tears for being such a whimp.
What's wrong with me? Why am I trying so hard to make conversation with this boy and yet ending up embarrassing myself.?
He had followed Vincent out of the school towards where he parked his car at the school front. This is not something he normally does as he only give the kids to their parents and walk back inside but here he is. Having no idea why he is like this in the first place.
"Yeah, see you later-probably sooner." Vincent replied the older ignoring the excuse he had given for saying that.
Jamie looks up at Vincent not knowing what to say as he watched him enters his car driving out of the school.
Giving a sigh as he realised the boy's car is out of sight, Jamie turned around walking back into the school but stopped in track as he noticed his friend, Liam resting against the school front door looking at him as he munch on the doritos in his hand.
"What?" Jamie frown slightly, not like the fact that his friend had been watching his little scene with Chanel's brother while eating snacks.
Liam shrugs before walking back into the school while Jamie followed.
"I am leaving." Jamie said after a few minutes of silence between them.
Liam turned back to Jamie placing down the bag of doritos in his hand on the table picking up his phone. "Okay, Kayla said she will be a bit late today because she had to run an errand for her mom"
Kayla is Liam's girlfriend and little. Both had been together way before Jamie met Liam. They both are so cute together that Jamie envy their relationship sometimes.
Kayla is in her final year at the University and about a year older than Jamie. Jamie would have also been in his final year or maybe third year if he haven't dropped out of school and ran away from home.
Jamie mentally sighed as he picked up his bag, "I will take my leave then."
"Jamie"
Jamie heard Liam called as he turned back to him.
"You are okay right?" Liam asked. "I mean do you want us to hang out today?, Instead of you just going home right away. I feel like it actually been long we hangout together outside work." Liam added looking at the younger.
Liam is about four years older than Jamie, he had graduated college some years back in education and had decided to open a primary school afterwards.
Jamie stares at his friend for a while before turning around, "no, it's okay, I feel like going home. I am quite tired today."
"Alright then, see you tomorrow." Liam replied not really convinced with his friend excuse.
Jamie nods walking out of the school.

Walking the long journey back home didn't help take Jamie's mind off things like it used to do. He clearly had a lot of things bothering. A lot of things to brood on.
From his friend to the strange boy he just met today but already giving him a weird feeling to his life in general, everything really gets Jamie on the edge.
His friend, Liam. Jamie can't denied the fact that he really was trying to give him and Liam some space. Not like they were really that close before, he was just his online friend who had taken him in and took care of him. He even gave him a job and an apartment for him to stay.
The apartment was actually Liam's old apartment, he had lived there when he was still a college student, Liam told him his parents had bought it for him then but he moved out to buy a bigger one when he started dating his girlfriend and had given Jamie the place to stay when he came. That's how much special Liam was to him.
But his reason of avoiding Liam was because of recent, Jamie is starting to realize he did see Liam more than just a close friend of his. From him wishing he could be his caregiver to him seeing them as potential partner.
Knowing that Liam is in fact taken by a nice and beautiful girlfriend whom they had been together for years, Jamie couldn't help but feel so worst about him.
It's not that he is that desperate to have a daddy or caregiver, but he really does need that. Most time when he is in his little space he cried himself to sleep because there is no one around to take care of him.
Bringing him to the boy he met today-
Vincent. Maybe it the way the boy had looked at his sister, with so much love and affection to the way he had carried her like she was the most precious thing to him at that moment.
Jamie want all of that too.
He want someone who will care for him and treat him like he was the most important to them. He wanted to be loved too.
His life. Jamie realize how much mundane his daily life had been generally. When he was not at school, he is at home doing nothing much than him being in either his big space or little space-which he preferred being in most of the time.
He wanted a life too, an interesting one at that. He want to have someone he could rely on and share things with.
He missed his brothers, they had always been there for him, they had always love and cared for him, yet he ended up disappointing them.
Not like he hate the way he is, he knew he can't change who he was but he wish he could go back in time to the day he had decided to skipped school and come back home.
Maybe if he hadn't done that, maybe if he had decided to endure and force himself to stay in his big space at school rather than come back home that day to stay in little space, maybe things wouldn't have turn out like this, maybe he would have been more happy right now, maybe he would have gotten himself a secret caregiver who will love and care for home, maybe-
Feeling the tears he couldn't keep to himself any longer gliding down his pale cheek, Jamie wipe his tear with a low sniff. He brings out the key to his apartment from his bag opening the door. He entered his apartment welcomed by the cool embrace of his room.
Jamie pull off his bag from his shoulder dropping it in the floor and taking off his shoes before walking towards his bedroom-towards his little space fort. Too tired to even change his clothes, Jamie picks up one of his pacifier sucking on it as he laid down in his fort pulling the biggest stuff animal-a child-lifesized bear he had, given to him by Kayla on his last birthday.
Jamie hugged the stuffed animal to himself as he cried himself to sleep.
