Anger

Emma entered the building and there was only the security guard who pointed her to her office. Upon entering, she noticed how large and elegant it was. There was a sheet on the desk indicating the tasks she had to complete for the day. She glanced at it and realized there were a lot of files to go through. She left her bag on the back of the chair and started reading, unaware of the box in front of her.

She spent the whole morning immersed in paperwork, trying to keep her mind occupied and not think about anything else.

Meanwhile, Carter had arrived at the office and was looking at some papers, wondering if Emma had actually shown up for work. The whole morning had passed.

Knock knock...

"Can I come in, handsome..!" asked a beautiful blonde woman with long legs and a slim body.

"Cecilia, what are you doing here? I thought you were still in Morocco!"said Carter, sizing Cecilia up.

"I came back because I heard you're about to get engaged..!" said the woman, walking past him.

"That's right, and rumors sure do spread quickly!" said Carter, smiling.

"Of course, especially when it's about the billionaire, solitary, and untamable Carter Miller." whispered Cecilia into Carter's ear.

While Cecilia placed her hands on Carter's shoulders, Emma suddenly entered with a pile of papers.

"Carter, I was reading the investment papers about Quintana Roo and environmentalists are filing a lawsuit against you for obstructing one of the mangroves, and it's really important that..." said Emma, trailing off as she saw the woman caressing Carter.

"Emma, how nice to see you working for a living!" Carter said sarcastically.

"That's right, but I recommend that you start working too, or you'll lose all the money you have invested in Mexico!" Emma said, leaving a stack of papers on Carter's desk and glaring at the woman sweeping the floor.

"And who is she?" Cecilia asked.

"She is..." Carter started to say, interrupted by Emma.

"Oh please, don't introduce me, I don't think this woman cares," Emma said, walking out of Carter's office.

"But who does she think she is!" Cecilia said.

"Enough, Cecilia, stop flirting. She is Emma, my fiancée!" Carter said, removing Cecilia's hands from his neck.

"Oh my god, that's your future wife? Good lord, are you blind or have you lost your mind? Look at her messy hair and the way she's dressed!" Cecilia said mockingly, sitting down in front of Carter.

"Even though it's incredible, she is the type of woman I want to marry. Not someone who spends more time in front of a mirror than by my side!" Carter said, picking up some papers that had fallen to the floor.

"Well, it seems like she has put you in a terrible mood, so I'll leave you. And you know, if you need me, just find me at the Imperial Hotel in the suite!" Cecilia said, walking out of the office, swinging her hips seductively.
