After the Supreme gave the orders, I didn't wait, I went through all the procedures and immediately traveled. It's a long journey, it takes me more than a day to arrive, even though we have a private jet. I arrived at Silver Moon Pack and went straight to the Alpha's mansion. I was greeted well, although he wasn't present. I was informed that he was inspecting the borders. They quickly settled me in a comfortable room. I took a shower and went down for dinner, I had been traveling all day and was hungry. The Alpha finally appeared and welcomed me at the dinner table, and we ate in peace. I thought it was best to talk to him after dinner, so he would be less nervous and more at ease, after the initial impressions.

"The Supreme sent me here to see how you're doing as the Alpha. So, are you able to handle everything?"
I noticed that he had a strange smell, mixed with his own, the smell of blood and death, but I didn't say anything, I didn't want to scare the little bird.
"Yes, my father spent a year preparing me to take over everything and I also have the Betas who help me a lot."
"Are the Betas young too?"
"My direct ones, yes, but the most experienced one is Beta Leonel, who I kept from my father's team."
"Why?" I asked to poke at him.
"His son, my friend David, was never very interested in the Pack, always with jokes and silly pranks, his brother is more interested, but still too young, so I thought it was best to wait."
"I heard you found your mate, where is she, can I meet her?"

I left the room, heading towards the stairs, since I arrived, I have been sensing a very distant, but sweet and delicate scent. I follow the corridor and the perfume becomes stronger when I reach the Alpha's room. Which means that there was a woman there until recently, maybe yesterday. The worst part is that I recognized that scent.

"That area is guarded by a very strong magic, created by a guardian sent by the Creator God Himself, to protect a group of very special beings. They are part of our species, but they are descendants of indigenous tribes. They are the Red Blood."
"So that's it, they are special. But why?"
"Why what?"
"Why are they special? Hell, are you even paying attention? Why do they need to be protected and why can't I, ME, protect them?"
"I already said, they are special because they are indigenous descendants, they are protected because they were almost wiped out by the greed of men and supernaturals, and finally, their ancestors were among those who tried to destroy them, to take their lands."
"That explains why my ancestors were all killed and no one knows anything about it. There's no record of these land disputes" I remembered never having read about this subject.
"Yes, and from what I know about you, you have never been greedy enough to wipe out an entire tribe to take their lands."
"I would never do that. So, is my mate there?"
"It's possible. There seems to be a prophecy about a young woman who will unite the Packs from north to south. It could be her."
"That would explain why she is the mate of a supreme!" I affirmed, more than asked.
"Yes."
"Did the guardian say how we can enter?"
"She said you need to ask, and if you are part of the future plans of the Pack, the barrier will open for you to pass through."
"I understand. Thank you, Laila. You have been wonderful."
"Message received, magnificent and now, inaccessible, Supreme. Good night to you too, and don't forget to send me the items I need, I left the list with your housekeeper. Goodbye!"
She left the same way she arrived and I am too restless to sleep, so I'll go for a run. I run and leave through the door, letting my wolf out, and we head towards the hill. Once we reach the top, I howl at the new moon, so thin, but so bright in the sky.
