Episode 17

Today, the weather was exceptionally hot. In this country, finding a job is a tall order, especially for those who have only completed high school or less. Consequently, many people were enticed by a job vacancy announcement on social media.

Erza had committed fraud to ensnare victims by spreading information about job vacancies specifically for women, stating the need for female workers to work abroad with the promise of a very high salary.

However, all of Erza's deceits had now resulted in 20 women being held captive in a large truck, ready to be sent overseas, where they were to be forced into prostitution.

"Soon, your order will be ready to ship," Erza informed his client over a cell phone call.

"Alright, I'll wait at the port. I have prepared the money for you," the client replied, "But they are still 'untouched,' right?"

Erza chuckled softly, observing the girls inside the delivery truck—probably aged between 17 and 20—with their hands and feet tied, and their mouths sealed with black tape.

"Mmmhh... mhhhh... "

"Mmmhh... mhhhh... "

The 20 girls tried to resist, but they were powerless to escape.

"Hahaha... rest assured, I guarantee they are still 'untouched.'"

"Good, send them to me immediately."

Click!

After ending the call, Erza closed the truck door, while the roof had already been covered tightly to prevent anyone from seeing the victims inside the truck.

"Where's Markus?" Erza asked one of his men.

"Markus is at the butcher shop."

Indeed, Markus was responsible for executing victims whose organs were to be harvested.

"Alright then, you and Baron hurry and take them to the port, don't forget to bring the 1 billion from Mr. Andrew," Erza ordered Amar and Baron.

"Understood, boss."

...

Amar and Baron were now en route to the port, devoid of conscience; the truck they drove was full of innocent girls they had blatantly deceived, to be delivered to a trafficker named Andrew.

Andrew was a mafia who trafficked women to be sold into prostitution overseas and was also an organ dealer. He wanted everything to be in order, ready for resale, eyeing a massive profit.

Meanwhile, the 20 girls in the truck could only weep, incapable of any action.

Midway, Baron and Amar noticed in the rearview mirror what appeared to be a sports car following them from behind.

"It seems we have a tail. Who could that be?" Baron asked Amar, who was driving.

Amar, heartless, feared that their vile act had been discovered by another and sped up the truck.

They then heard the distinct sound of a gunshot.

Zdoorr...

"Shit!" Amar cursed, someone had shot one of the truck's tires, forcing him to stop the vehicle. He saw the sports car that had been tailing them come to a halt in front of the truck.

Baron and Amar, feeling challenged, stepped out of the truck and approached the sports car, with Baron pointing a gun at the driver's window.

"Get out, you bastard!" Baron shouted while pointing the gun at the front window of the sports car.

Emerging from the car was Marvin, though his face was concealed by a mask. He had been monitoring the movements of The Bloods gang because Markus, a member of The Bloods, was suspected of colluding in the murder of his mother.

Marvin exited the car casually, hands raised as Baron aimed the gun at him.

"Who are you? Why are you obstructing our way and shooting the truck's tire? You've messed with the wrong people," Amar warned Marvin.

Marvin just smirked, "It seems you're right. I've gotten involved with the wrong sort. You're no match for me!"

After saying so, Marvin swiftly kicked the gun from Baron's trigger-ready hand, sending it flying away.

"Arrrggghhh!" Baron groaned in pain, nearly breaking his hand with Marvin's forceful kick.

"Damn you!" Amar immediately attacked Marvin.

Marvin quickly took Amar down, sliding his leg out to trip him, causing Amar to fall.

As Baron tried to punch him, Marvin struck Baron in the face with a kick, followed by a hit to the neck and a punch straight to his chest.

Baron collapsed onto the asphalt.

Terrified at the sight of an incapacitated Baron, Amar attempted to fight Marvin again, but froze at the sight of Marvin pointing a gun at him.

"Quickly, release all the women you've kidnapped!" Marvin ordered Amar.

Marvin's gaze was sharp, instilling fear in Amar, who nodded quickly and rushed to the back of the truck to free the girls. Marvin followed him with the gun aimed at Amar's head.

Amar quickly untied the girls, removed the restraints on their legs and arms, and pulled the tape from their mouths.

The girls exchanged confused glances, unsure if Marvin was a malefactor or not, but could only look at each other and cry.

"It's better if you leave now, save yourselves!" Marvin told the twenty girls in the truck.

They sensed that the masked man was not evil, so they hurriedly exited the truck and scattered to escape. The idea that a rescuer had saved them was unimaginable beforehand.

"Please, don't kill me," Amar begged Marvin for mercy.

Marvin hadn't planned to kill Amar anyway, as he wanted to surprise Markus.

"Alright, I'll let you live," Marvin said, turning Amar around to write something on his back with a red marker.

"I'm counting to 10, you better run as fast as you can, don't let me catch you again."

Marvin started counting, "One..."

Amar bolted, needing to get as far away as possible so Marvin couldn't pursue him.

Zdoor...

A bullet grazed Amar's arm.

"Arrrggghhh!" Amar groaned in pain, running faster, clutching his bleeding arm.

Marvin could have aimed for his head, but he needed Amar alive so that Markus and Erza could read the message on his back.

Marvin sighed, watching Amar flee. Although his intent was revenge, unwittingly he had saved people almost trafficked into prostitution by The Bloods gang.

Yet, Marvin didn't consider himself a good person. Many had died by his hand.

Drrttt... Drrttt...

Marvin's phone vibrated, a call from Dewangga, who was currently with Athena gang members attacking Andrew's mafia group at the port. The action was meant to be a deterrent and to demonstrate that Athena was the most formidable mafia in the country.

"Is everything settled?" Marvin asked upon answering Dewangga's call.

"It's done; we've subdued them. Did you know we just got a lot of money? Their business wasn't trivial."

"How much did you get?"

"Who knows, maybe about ten suitcases full."

Marvin thought for a moment, "Hmm... just get rid of that money however you want—burn it or give it away." Marvin didn't want the business model like Andrew's to flourish, so the money had to be destroyed. He might be a mafia, but he was not one to harm the innocent. Kidnapping people, killing them for organs, and selling women into prostitution against their will were not his doing.
