My Mate is a Human

My Mate is a Human

Episode 1

Molly:

My name is Molly Hernandez Perez, I'm from Veracruz, Mexico, a very hot place, I'm 18 years old, in 2 months I will be 19, for as long as I can remember I've lived in an orphanage, I don't know who my parents are, as a child I became friends with a girl who has now become like a sister to me since we both share the same story, my skin color is medium fair and tanned, with hazel eyes, medium-length wavy black hair, I have no complaints about my body, I'm somewhat short, little by little you will get to know me.

I was talking to my friend when Sister Carmen arrives.

HC: Molly, I need you to go to the office, the Head Sister needs to speak with you.

Mol: Thank you, Sister Carmen.

I say goodbye to my friend and go to the office, I knock on the door, until I hear "enter".

Mol: You asked for me?

HS: Yes, I wanted to talk to you about something very serious.

I got nervous just from her saying that.

HS: It pains me to tell you this, but it's an orphanage rule and I can't do anything about it, the orphanage rule is that if you are not adopted and you have reached the age of majority, you need to leave the orphanage.

Upon hearing that, I started to cry because I didn't know what I was going to do, where I should go, I didn't know anything about the outside, how I was going to manage.

HS: I know it will be difficult, but you will get through it, I will give you some support so you can buy a bus ticket to go to the city.

Mol: Okay, Sister, I'll go pack my things.

HS: Perfect, you can call Miss Helena.

I left the office and headed to where my friend was, I told her that the Head Sister was calling her, she went to the office, a while passed and she came out crying, I suppose they told her the same thing they told me.

Helena: Friend, I have to leave the orphanage, I don't know what I'm going to do, I don't know anything about the outside.

Mol: Well, at least we're going together.

Helena: What do you mean you also have to leave?

Mol: Yes, apparently it's an orphanage rule, but let's go pack our things, the Head Sister told me she was going to give us some support for the bus ticket.

Sadly I started to pack all my things, I don't know what we're going to do, where to go, we don't have a home, we'll have to go look for work but we don't know how to do anything, but I know we'll learn how to do it, I just finished packing and I'm going with my friend to see if she's ready too.

Helena: Well, friend, that's everything, let's go.

Mol: Yes, let's go see the Head Sister.

We arrived at where the Head Sister was and told her we had everything ready.

HS: Good, I'm going to give you this support so you can go to the city and at least rent a place to live.

We took the support the Head Sister gave us, we went straight to the door, we stopped for a moment when opening the door, we're scared but together we will make it, we said goodbye to the Sisters and left.

Helena: Ready?

Mol: Ready.

We left the orphanage and went to the bus station, we bought the tickets to go to the city, we got on the bus, luckily there were seats together, we left our whole lives in that place and now we're going to a completely unknown place, but we're definitely going to get ahead.
