Molly:
My name is Molly Hernandez Perez, I'm from Veracruz, Mexico, a very hot place, I'm 18 years old, in 2 months I will be 19, for as long as I can remember I've lived in an orphanage, I don't know who my parents are, as a child I became friends with a girl who has now become like a sister to me since we both share the same story, my skin color is medium fair and tanned, with hazel eyes, medium-length wavy black hair, I have no complaints about my body, I'm somewhat short, little by little you will get to know me.
I was talking to my friend when Sister Carmen arrives.
HC: Molly, I need you to go to the office, the Head Sister needs to speak with you.
Mol: Thank you, Sister Carmen.
I say goodbye to my friend and go to the office, I knock on the door, until I hear "enter".
Mol: You asked for me?
HS: Yes, I wanted to talk to you about something very serious.
I got nervous just from her saying that.
HS: It pains me to tell you this, but it's an orphanage rule and I can't do anything about it, the orphanage rule is that if you are not adopted and you have reached the age of majority, you need to leave the orphanage.
Upon hearing that, I started to cry because I didn't know what I was going to do, where I should go, I didn't know anything about the outside, how I was going to manage.
HS: I know it will be difficult, but you will get through it, I will give you some support so you can buy a bus ticket to go to the city.
Mol: Okay, Sister, I'll go pack my things.
HS: Perfect, you can call Miss Helena.
I left the office and headed to where my friend was, I told her that the Head Sister was calling her, she went to the office, a while passed and she came out crying, I suppose they told her the same thing they told me.
Helena: Friend, I have to leave the orphanage, I don't know what I'm going to do, I don't know anything about the outside.
Mol: Well, at least we're going together.
Helena: What do you mean you also have to leave?
Mol: Yes, apparently it's an orphanage rule, but let's go pack our things, the Head Sister told me she was going to give us some support for the bus ticket.
Sadly I started to pack all my things, I don't know what we're going to do, where to go, we don't have a home, we'll have to go look for work but we don't know how to do anything, but I know we'll learn how to do it, I just finished packing and I'm going with my friend to see if she's ready too.
Helena: Well, friend, that's everything, let's go.
Mol: Yes, let's go see the Head Sister.
We arrived at where the Head Sister was and told her we had everything ready.
HS: Good, I'm going to give you this support so you can go to the city and at least rent a place to live.
We took the support the Head Sister gave us, we went straight to the door, we stopped for a moment when opening the door, we're scared but together we will make it, we said goodbye to the Sisters and left.
Helena: Ready?
Mol: Ready.
We left the orphanage and went to the bus station, we bought the tickets to go to the city, we got on the bus, luckily there were seats together, we left our whole lives in that place and now we're going to a completely unknown place, but we're definitely going to get ahead.
We had fallen asleep, until a man woke us up and told us that we were already in the city. We nervously got off the bus, went to the ticket counter, and asked the lady if she knew of any place that had apartments or rooms for rent.
Lady: Yes, ladies. [She] gave [you] the address and ask there.
Both: Thank you.
We left the bus station and looked for a taxi until we found one. We gave him the address and when we arrived I paid the taxi driver and we got out. We went in, spoke with the person in charge, [and] she told us that she had a semi-furnished apartment. The good thing about it was that it wasn't that expensive. She gave us the keys and we went up the stairs. When we arrived, we entered the apartment and it was all beautiful. We toured the place and went directly to the bedrooms. I chose mine and my friend [chose] hers. We were about to finish putting our things away [when]...
Helena: Friend, we have to look for work, to be able to pay for the apartment.
Mol: I know, friend, but where are we going? We don't know the city. What if we ask the manager here if she knows of any place that needs employees?
Helena: Yeah, let's go.
We went down and went to talk to the manager. She told us that she knew several places that needed employees. She told us that it was not far from here. We thanked her and went up to sleep.
[I] entered my room, took a shower, and got into bed. I felt strange. I couldn't sleep, so I got up and went to my friend's room. [I] knocked and heard her say, "Come in."
Helena: You can't sleep?
Mol: I can't. Can I sleep with you?
Helena: Yes, come on.
I walked to her bed and got in.
Mol: I miss the orphanage.
Helena: Me too, friend, but we have to get used to the idea that this is now going to be our life and we have to learn.
In a few seconds I fell asleep.
I wake up feeling that there was no one next to me. I leave the room and go to mine. I take a shower and put on comfortable clothes.
Mol: Did you fall out of bed?
Helena: Ha ha, very funny. I just wasn't sleepy anymore and I got up to go to the supermarket and buy what was needed.
Mol: And how did you know how to get to the supermarket?
Helena: Well, I went to ask downstairs [and] they gave me the address, which, by the way, is not that far from here, so... thanks.
Mol: Ha ha, thanks for bringing the groceries.
We had breakfast [and] each washed her plate.
Helena: We have to go see about the job.
Mol: Yeah, we have to go.
We both went to the room and got changed, grabbed the keys, and left. We walked until we reached the place. We went in [and] a girl approached us. She looked us up and down and then gave us a laugh.
Girl: Can I offer you something?
Mol: We are looking for work and they told us that you need people here, that's why we came to ask.
Girl: Yes, of course. We are looking for two waitresses. Do you have any experience?
We both looked at each other and said: We don't have experience, miss.
Girl: Well, don't worry, you will learn here. You're hired.
My friend and I hugged each other.
Helena: And when do we start?
Girl: If you can, tonight.
We both looked at each other and said: We accept.
Girl: Well, welcome. My name is Cassandra and I will give you a tour of the place. I will give you your uniforms.
Helena: Okay.
Mol: Okay.
Cassandra began to show us the place. The place is very big and beautiful. She took us to a room where the other girls were. We weren't going to be alone. She introduced us to each one. Some of them didn't like us and others did.
Cassandra gave us the uniforms [and] we went to the bathrooms to change.
Molly: Hey, this is too small. I don't want to go out like this. I'm embarrassed.
Helena: I know, friend, but we have to do it. Mol, let me see.
Mol: I'm embarrassed.
Helena: Let's go, friend.
Mol: Okay.
I go out embarrassed and I see my friend and I tell her...
Mol: Oh my God, Helena, you look amazing.
Helena: Friend, you don't fall behind!
We left the bathroom and went with the other girls.
We went with the girls, I was surprised because they looked incredible, Cassandra arrives and tells us girls, are you ready, it's almost full, please go and attend.
We left and it was almost full of people but more men, they all went to various tables, I did the same, when Cassandra tells me
Cassandra: Mol I need you to take this to one of the VIP rooms
Mol: Okay
Cassandra gives me a tray full of beers, I go up to the room and find her and there are some very handsome, hunky men sitting in it, but they look like jerks, I approach and I'm putting and one of them wouldn't stop looking at me, I finished putting everything away and I tell them
Mol: Do you need anything else?
The one who was watching me said
X: Yes, I want you to sit next to me
Mol: I'm sorry, but that's not allowed, if you don't need anything else, I'll leave.
I left that table as quickly as possible and started serving other tables, I find Cass and she tells me that I could go, as well as Helena, we went to the bathroom and took off our uniforms and left.
Mol: How did it go?
Helena: Well, everything is quiet, and you?
Mol: Look, Cass sent me to drop off some drinks at one of the VIP tables and it was all very handsome men, they looked good on their bodies but the problem was that they looked like jerks, one of them couldn't stop looking at me, When I asked them if they didn't need anything, that guy told me to sit next to him, I told him that he couldn't and I left quickly
Helena: Oh friend, you have to be careful with those guys
We got home, I took a bath and went to sleep, I was more tired than hungry.
I wake up because a delicious smell had reached me and my stomach wouldn't stop growling, I got out of bed and went to take a bath, I put on something comfortable and went to breakfast
Mol: Uff how delicious it smells
Helena: Come sit down, breakfast is ready
We had breakfast, washed the dishes and started cleaning the house, it was 5:00 pm and we took a bath and went to work
Mol: Good luck
Helena: Same to you
we arrived, we changed and waited a bit for more people to start arriving,
Mol: Helena, this place is packed with people, today we are going to be late
Helena: Well, let's go for it
We started serving the people, Cass arrives and tells me
Cass: Mol, I need you to go to one of the rooms to bring these drinks
Mol: Right away
I grab the tray and go looking for the table and I realize that it is the same one from the other night and the same men only there was another one with them, which I found very handsome.
Mol: Good night
I started to leave the drinks on the table and the same man from the other time, starts telling me things
X: Tonight you will sit with us
Mol: I repeat that this cannot be
X: Come on baby just for a little while
Y: Stop bothering the lady and let her finish her work
I turned to look at the one who had defended me and it was the one that seemed very handsome to me
Mol: Thank you very much sir, I'm leaving.
It gave me great joy that he defended me, but what am I thinking, he is a client, I stop thinking about it and concentrate on doing my job to finish as soon as possible and go home.
Cass: Mol, I need you to go to that table and after that you can go home
Mol: Thank you so much
I bring the drinks and it was a table before where the other men were, I leave the drinks, I finish there, I go to the bathroom but before I arrived I felt someone pull my arm
X: Why so lonely mommy?
Mol: Sir, please let me go, you are very drunk
X: I'm going to make you mine
Mol: Please let me go 😭
Suddenly someone pulled the man and started hitting him, Helena arrived and hugged me, security arrived and took the man away.
Mol: Thank you very much again, I don't know how to thank you
Y: You're welcome, but are you okay?
Mol: Yes, thank you
that man who had defended me once more, left, I grabbed my things, changed and left as quickly as possible for my house.
