Episode 7

Molly

I got home and took off all my clothes and got into the shower. I was very scared; I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened at the bar. If it weren't for him, I don't know what would have happened to me.

I get out of the shower and put on my pajamas. I go to the kitchen and make myself some coffee when my friend arrives.

Mol: Helena, you're here. How was it?

Helena: It was good, friend, but I'm super tired. And how are you?

Mol: I still see that man's image in my head.

Helena: Scumbag, but the good thing is that he got what he deserved. By the way, Cass said that you should take the day off tomorrow; she feels sorry about what happened.

Mol: Good. Well, I'm going to sleep now. See you tomorrow.

Helena: See you tomorrow, Mol.

I go into the room, get into bed, and immediately fall asleep. But suddenly, I started having nightmares. I woke up screaming. My friend came running in.

Hela: What's wrong?

Mol: I was having nightmares.

Helena: Do you want me to sleep with you?

Mol: Yes.

She has always been the strongest; she always defended me in the orphanage. I immediately fell asleep again.

I turn over and feel nothing beside me. I get up, take a quick shower, put on something comfortable, and go to the kitchen. There's a note stuck on the fridge.

"MOL, I WENT TO THE STORE. I MADE YOU COFFEE. BE BACK SOON."

I had breakfast, washed the dishes, and started cleaning the apartment when Helena arrived.

Helena: Hello, sleepyhead. Help me with the bags.

Mol: Okay.

I grabbed some bags and started putting them away where they belonged.

Helena: Everything is so clean. Hey, Mol, I've been thinking about something.

Mol: About what? Tell me.

Helena: I was thinking that I wouldn't want something like last night to happen to you again. I can work for both of us.

Mol: Don't be silly. I have to work to be able to pay the rent.

Helena: I know, but why don't you look for something different? I'm sure Cass will understand.

Mol: No, Helena, I don't want to leave you alone. We got in there together. You'll see; nothing like that will happen to me.

Helena: Just think about it, okay? Well, I'll leave you. I'm going to get ready.

Mol: Okay.

Helena went to her room. I stayed thinking. I have to work; I can't leave everything to her. I'm going to keep working there with her, and I decide not to stay even though Cass gave me the day off. I go into the room, grab my things, and go out.

Helena: Where are you going?

Mol: I'm going to work.

Helena: Mol, last night I told you that Cass gave you the day off. It's better if you stay.

Mol: No, Helena, I have to go. It's my obligation.

Helena: As you wish. You're so stubborn.

Mol: 😁

We left the apartment together and arrived at the bar.

Cass: Mol, I told your coworker to tell you that I was giving you the day off because of what happened last night.

Mol: Yes, she told me, but don't worry, nothing will happen, and I have to work. Excuse me, I'm going to put on my uniform.

I went to the back room, took my uniform, and put it on.

Cass: If you don't feel comfortable working today, you can go home.

Mol: Thank you, but I feel fine, and I'm going to work. Excuse me; I'm going to wait on customers.
