Feeding medicine to the unconscious Jungkook wasn't easy. Still Taehyung was never going to give up. He was a little hesitant to continue the procedure of feeding with his mouth continuously while Jungkook isn't in his senses. It bothered him when his lips touched the dried and pursed lips of Jungkook, which ones returned every little touch of his with utmost adore, love and affection. But even if had to bear the pain, it was very important to put the medicine into Jungkook's body. So he had to do that again. His heart pained, wriggled like a innocent trapped and chained without fault, but all he could do was wiggle and suffer, making Taehyung suffer the pain all throughout his body. The one unconscious was Jungkook, unaware of the stings and bruises Taehyung took in return.

As Taehyung sat on the bed with Jungkook in his embrace, watching the rise and fall of his partner's labored breathing, memories flooded his mind. Jungkook's breathing used hitch even when he tried to initiate something intimate. Taehyung's eyes turned glassy as he caressed his lover's cheeks and hair. The laughter under cherry blossom trees near the lake, the secret meetings in the back garden, the endless nights spent sleepless in each other's arms, the electrifying touch and hold in those moments of closeness, the little pats on each other to have quick slumber, the urgency in heart to return home sooner, the longing to be with each other in moments of separation, and the quiet nights spent whispering dreams and secrets in each other's ears. Each moment was a thread in the fabric of their love, now frayed by pain. His heart ached, longing for the vibrant, spirited jungkookie of his who had once danced through life with him. Yet, amid the sorrow, these memories were a reminder of the profound joy they had built together, and a promise that their love, tested by this trial, would endure. When in each other's arms, holding onto each other tight, the difficulties didn't felt this difficult. For Taehyung, any of those obstacles, any of those dilemmas, that could break even the strongest spine with its arrival, meant nothing but some little hurdle when he takes a look at Jungkook. Just a look at those galaxial eyes filled with hope and love of his koo, a Meraki of dream and life for him and Taehyung attains salvation. Because he knows that at the end even if he dies, he would take his last breath with his own head on his Jungkook's lap. And he wants nothing else but that.
