New Vengeful Life - Taekook - A set-up as marriage

The next morning, Jungkook was woken up early. He wanted to sleep more because he didn't get proper sleep last night. His nightmares are really increasing day by day. Usually it's not that grave or the things he sees aren't that affecting, but recently the memories of his past life has been reflecting a lot in the nightmares causing him too much of mental concussion. He wanted to relax a bit, so he sat outside in the courtyard with his messy hair and entangled thoughts while pouting in his own thought land.

Right then he hears footsteps and turns to see that Shi Zhang waddling into the courtyard while having trouble in carrying a huge wooden box. He sits up straight with a confused face and his bed head as he watched her with sleepy eyes. Shi Zhang walks closer to him and places the box near him as she huffs for breath. Jungkook frowns and bends near the box only to hear some shuffling and squirming inside the box, he gets surprised.

What's there inside? It's squirming... and making noises.. ( he asks shi Zhang as he pokes the box eith his finger and sqauts down )

( she laughs seeing the face of Jungkook and passes him a note which only had Jungkook's name written on it )

I don't know what's it and who has sent it. It's a gift box that was delivered on your name. It was kept on the entrance of the manor. Some Jeon Sui maids were about to open it when i reached on time. It just had your name on it.

After hesitating for a few moments, Jungkook walked out of the gate and saw the young manservant lying face down a few steps away from the gate. It seemed as though he had fallen down and fainted. Jungkook frowned. He looked around. Seeing no one, he went around the unconscious manservant and left in a perfectly composed manner.

Up in a tree, a young man in black played with the stones in his hand. His long eyelashes drooped, covering his contemplative eyes. He smirked a little as he saw Jungkook taking baby steps and escaping. His heavenly handsome face was covered somewhat in a mask. He didn't take his eyes of Jungkook till he was no more visible. He again leaned down on the tree branch and hummed a little like in relief. He had come to the Jeon Manor to investigate some matters but came across an unexpected scene. It seemed that the Second young master of the Jeons and the Eldest Young master Choi had old scores to settle. It was very shocking to see the ruthless way he acted against his enemy. Jung-hoon and Ran-Dong had finished talking about the official matters, so they casually strolled around the manor, talking about the marriage between the two families. Although Ran-Dong was lecherous, he was also cunning like an old fox. He was being vague with his words. Xia Yan, keeping them company, sneaked in a few words, but Ran-Dong's attitude was obscure, saying it depended on Taeyong's wishes. Xia Yan went to the small guest room first that was just to the left of the corridor. The room was tranquil, the teapot and the teacups on the table were in the same position as before, undisturbed. Both Jong-in and Xia Yan stared blankly, only to hear another scream. This time, it was loud and clear, coming from Jeon Sui's bedroom that was just the next room to the guest room after some gap. For a second, Xia Yan could not help wonder why the location had changed to Sui's room. But then, a foreboding feeling rose inside her heart. She pushed Jong-in , who stood in front of her, away and rushed into Sui's room. As soon as she entered the room, she smelled the strong and nauseating stench of blood. Xia Yan’s eyes jumped at the startling sight of blood on the ground. A sound of weeping reached Xia Yan’s ears, making her feel as if struck by lightning. She took a few steps forward. Wasn’t the one standing in the room crying Jeon Sui??

Ran-Dong stared with wide eyes as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He rushed to Taeyong's side and shook him.

Taeyong's head was covered with blood at Sui's feet. His former appearance couldn’t be seen at all.
