It was a cold Monday morning and Sakusa woke up earlier than his boyfriend.
It was rare since most of the time, Atsumu would be the one to wake up first.
It will be tough waking him up because of this weather, Sakusa thought.
Sakusa sat on the edge of the bed and tickled the blonde’s feet.

I won’t stop ‘til you get up.
Sakusa smirked, continuously tickling his boyfriend’s feet.

We're going to be late for practice.

Come on. Coach will get mad at us again.

Atsumu rose his pile of pillows then stood slowly off his bed, his shoulders drop and looked lazily at Sakusa.

Yeah, my Mom is coming to watch our game.

And that was how Sakusa knew he f*cked up.
Well, not exactly f*cked up YET.
He was just so--soooooo nervous.
The total opposite for Atsumu.
He’d been hesitant about telling his parents about their relationship at first, fearing that it was too soon and that it would freak Sakusa out.
But his parents inevitably demanded they be introduced to Atsumu’s first real boyfriend as soon as possible.
Not that he had any reason to be worried.
The event of Sakusa meeting his parents was inevitable.
And though he won't admit, Atsumu was pretty sure he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the clean freak.
(He’d given up on trying to keep his sappy thoughts in check, it was no use anymore).
But he still thought that he’d be moving too fast.
In the end though, he decided to quit overthinking and just ask let his Mom meet his boyfriend.
Obviously all of their friends already knew, including his twin Osamu.
But parents were a different story.
As their morning ceremonies finished, with the two of them inside the car, Sakusa was staring at the air.
Atsumu
What? I thought you said you don't want to get scolded?
Well, not that Sakusa was scared.
He actually wants Atsumu to meet his parents first, not that it matters who goes first though.
Eyes on the road and mind somewhere elese, Sakusa started the car, driving the two of them to the gym.
Atsumu couldn't help but wonder if meeting his parents was a stretched-out step after all.

You know I can tell Mom to not come if you're not comfortable with it.
Kiyoomi
No, it's not that.
Atsumu
Then why the long face?
Atsumu laughed at that, smirking at his boyfriend.

Sakusa grimaced at Atsumu's teasing tone.
