Jungkook ran.

His lungs burned. The surrounding forest blurred in the dark. Branches clawed at his face like fingers trying to drag him back. Somewhere behind him, footsteps echoed—unhurried, heavy, too calm for a chase.

A voice sang through the trees, low and sweet like poison honey

Taehyung.

Jungkook’s heart pounded harder than his feet. He’d waited until Tae left the cabin, slipped out barefoot, blood still fresh on his cheek from last night’s "punishment." Tae said he did it because he loved him. Because Jungkook "belonged to him."

And once, that had sounded beautiful.

Now it sounded like a death sentence.

A whisper drifted behind him. He turned—too late.

Taehyung emerged from the shadows, eyes gleaming with madness and devotion. He grabbed Jungkook, slammed him into a tree, hand clamped around his throat—not enough to kill, just enough to control.
