Part-5

Jungkook had stopped resisting.
He wasn’t sure when it happened—when he finally let go of the fight—but it was somewhere between the cold floor and Taehyung’s whispered apologies. Somewhere between the abuse and the tender touches, the nights spent in silence, the mornings when Taehyung would kiss his scars like they were love letters.
Obedience came in layers—at first, it was survival. Then, as days blended into weeks, it became something else. He learned how to bend, how to take Taehyung’s demands with a quiet nod. He learned the way Taehyung looked at him after each “command,” like he was a piece of clay being molded, waiting to break, to crack open.
But with each act of submission, there was a dark piece of himself that quietly, subtly died. And Taehyung—his Tae—didn’t notice. Or maybe he just didn’t care.
Jungkook tried not to care either.
One evening, Taehyung came home from work, his usual charm slipping into something darker. Jungkook was sitting at the kitchen table, head down, as Taehyung paced the room with a look of quiet frustration. Jungkook noticed his clenched fists, the way his shoulders were taut with tension.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
Why were you talking to him?
Taehyung asked suddenly, his voice low.
Jungkook blinked, confused.
JUNGKOOK JEON
JUNGKOOK JEON
What?
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
The guy from the café
Taehyung continued, his voice tightening.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
The one who asked for your number
Jungkook stiffened. He didn’t want to lie, but his stomach churned.
JUNGKOOK JEON
JUNGKOOK JEON
I didn’t—he was just being friendly
Taehyung’s eyes darkened, pupils dilating.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
Friendly
He repeated, stepping closer.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
You don’t need anyone else, Jungkook, I’m all you’ll ever need
Before Jungkook could respond, Taehyung grabbed him by the wrist, yanking him up. The force of it made Jungkook stumble, but he didn’t fight it. He never did anymore.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
You’re mine
Taehyung’s voice dropped to a whisper, full of venom and something darker.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
No one else gets to look at you, No one else even breathes near you
Jungkook nodded, eyes cast downward.
Taehyung pushed him back against the wall. His fingers dug into Jungkook's arm like he was holding onto a lifeline.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
Say it
Jungkook swallowed hard, his throat tight.
I'm yours
Taehyung leaned in, lips brushing against his ear.
TAEHYUNG KIM
TAEHYUNG KIM
And I'm the only one who gets to decide when you leave
There was no comfort in the words anymore. No love. Just control. Taehyung's kiss on his neck felt like poison, not passion.
But Jungkook didn't move.
