Eva's eyes has not stopped flashing with lust for Sinclair. How can a respectable lady think of stealing her own sister's husband?.

" I'm the real daughter of the Woods family" Eva revealed with a sly smile.

Sinclair looked at Eva as if she suddenly grew two horns. He felt uncomfortable being in the same car as this lady here. The heavy makeup and strong perfume was something he hated.

' Where is my wife now?' Sinclair thought, shifting away from Eva who adjusted so that their body will make contact.

"What do you mean?" Sinclair asked. Eva thought that her bait was about to be taken, and she decided to add more pressure to it.

" What I mean to say is that your wife is illegitimate, her father is unknown, but my father took care of her since she was born"

'What a great news right master Moore?'. Eva thought with an innocent smile plastered on her face.

 Master Moore will take the bait, Eva did not forget to put in good words for her father as well painting him to be the perfect father who even took in an unknown child bore by his wife to another Man.

" What if my wife is illegitimate?" Sinclair asked Eva whose face turned ashen by the sudden change of things. She did not expect to anger him with news like this, he was supposed to be disgusted by it and then take her as a wife, that was the plan all along.

" I... I..., what I'm saying is that Serene is not good enough for you!, I'm the real daughter of the Woods family, and we are compatible for each other, nobody in the society will question our relationship but if you're with Serene...."

" Stop it now!" Sinclair said his voice not loud but carried a chilly sense of danger. Eva squirmed in her seat as she shuddered at the chilly voice.

" Who are you to tell me who to be with?" Sinclair asked his hands already itching to slap off the innocent look on Eva.

" Young master...."

" Get out!" Sinclair said relaxing into the seat calmly as if his voice did not send shivers down one's spine.

Eva couldn't bear to sit in there anymore, she opened the door and ran into the house with tears in her eyes. She has never been blatantly rejected before, this was the first time. This scheme against Serene didn't work this time, but there will surely be a next time!.

Eva slumped into the sofa after banging the door close. She already made up her mind to get young master and young master she shall get!.

Davis slowly opened his eyes, groaning softly as he felt a sharp blunt pain at the back of his head. The last time he remembered, there was a woman that was with him and now.... Ha!.

Serene sat coolly on the sofa staring daggers at Davis who shuddered at the intensity of the stare. Without wasting much time Serene recounted the trending news to him and raised an eyebrow in a silent question as if expecting him to answer her.

Davis turned pale at the mention of the news.

' Did she know something about the news?' he thought and another wave of shock ran through him.

" What do you have to say about it?" Serene asked.

" I don't know what you're talking about, what does this have to do with me?" Davis asked

' Trying to be tough eh?' Serene sneered in her mind.

" It has everything to do with you" Serene said standing to her feet. She ripped out her whip that was secured to her belt and flogged it on the floor, the chilling sound made Davis shudder as he began to sweat on his back.

" I'll tell you, I'll tell you!" He screamed making Serene halt her actions.

" Then tell me"

Davis pointed to a cupboard that was built into the wall, it was stationed at the far end of the living room. Serene walked towards it and opened it revealing multiple phones.

She was quite surprised with the number of phones there.

" Phone number 20" Davis said still shaking from fear as he squirmed in his seat to find a comfortable position despite the strong ropes that held him captive.

Serene took out the phone returning back to her earlier position.

" Tell me the password" Serene said after turning on the phone. Davis told her still fearing she might whip him with that strong looking leather dangling from her hand. Serene proceeded to delete the post first before asking him how he got the news.

Davis divulged all the secrets to her.

' Such a soft man, cannot even keep your employers secret '

After hearing everything Serene's face obviously turned black.

Eva!.

So she was involved after all!.

Serene set the man free before hurrying out of the house. She checked the time and panic immediately sets in. She was supposed to meet with Sinclair this evening and the time was Four - Fifty.

She rushed back to the Woods mansion feeling her heart tightening with strange emotions. When she got there her eyes grew wide as she saw the black Maybach.

' He must have been waiting for a long time'

Serene hurried to the car and knocked on the tinted window. The chauffeur got down from the car feeling much better now that the lady boss is here.

He was suffering a lot in the car since Sinclair was there and the temperature in the car was cold throughout the wait.

Serene opened the door and got into the car feeling sorry to have kept her uncle waiting.

Sinclair did not notice that Serene was already in the car, and he carried on with his deadly expression, still thinking about what Eva had done in his car.

His behaviour passed the wrong message to Serene

' Is he angry because he had to wait for me?'

" Uncle"
