Marry into the Moore family

" No way Eva!" Rita thundered, her figure shaking violently as she stood in front of the displeased looking Eva. Eva was already panting lightly because of the way Rita shook her earlier accompanied by her screaming.

Her palette was now on the floor with the paint tainting the earlier spotless form.

" Mom, I still don't know what is wrong with the choice I made?" Eva inquired

" Do you know the shame that comes with marrying a cripple and an ugly one at that?" Rita asked still shaking from her violent outburst.

" First of all the young master has never been seen by the public, secondly I am the one deciding to get married not you" Eva pointed out, stating her stand in the matter.

" It is you who is getting married, but it'll be me who faces the ridicule. Eva heed to me and drop your idea of marrying Young master Moore" Rita chided

" I thought about this long and hard before making any move. I want to marry into the Moore family but not because of the young master but for their money and status" Eva stated

Rita had a complicated look on her face, after hearing what her daughter had said she was torn between choices to make. She could just let her daughter marry into the Moore family that way their status will elevate, but they will face ridicule too because of the physical state the young master suffered from.

" Eva... I" Rita stammered

Eva noticed that Rita was now partly convinced, so she added more points to her earlier confession to make Rita fully convinced.

" I released the news so that everyone will rekindle the fact about Serene's illegitimacy again. This way the Moore family will see it and request for the real daughter of the Woods family then I'll marry into the family and live happily with their money"

Rita was convinced about that already, but she was still worried about Eva's fame plummeting because of their greed.

" You planned well but will all this happen as you expect?" Rita asked

" Everything I planned against that shrew Serene has always been successful, so this one will certainly be successful, and we'll live a good life, think about it mom"

Rita had thought about it and was convinced, her daughter was now a master schemer even surpassing her at all levels.

" Why are you so sweet?, you immediately calmed me down after such an intense outburst" Rita said laughing to lighten the once tense atmosphere.

Eva wore a shy expression and laughed softly.

" It's just in me"

Serene had gone to a friend's place. She was going to do something she had not done in years, and she had to do it for herself and her half ruined reputation.

She knocked on the wooden door after highlighting from the taxi and hurrying to the apartment. The place was located in the lowly area of the city where houses were poorly built and individuals had to rely on one another to live comfortably.

The door swung open revealing the feminine-looking face of a man who seems to be in his early twenties. He was dressed in a plain ash colored top and black pairs of pants.

" Serene?" He said, his voice resembling something close to a whisper.

" No time Zachary, help me do something" Serene said hurrying past him into the room.

Serene settled herself into one of the sofas in the living room waiting for Zachary to settle in before discussing her issue further.

" I see you have been faring well ever since you got the job as a teacher" Zachary said, his face revealing no emotion.

' Just like uncle, always keeping emotionless face' Serene thought

Sinclair would have remained a human robot if Serene hadn't volunteered to marry him. He fell in love at first sight and suddenly changed his character to suit his Wife. Even with all the changes his expression was still cold, especially if Serene was not there.

" You saw correctly" Serene agreed to his statement.

" That's good " He muttered

" Are you still in contact with him?" he asked suddenly. Serene's expression froze for a moment before smiling lightly.

" I thought you'll be keeping tabs on me, you are a top hacker how come you didn't know about our relationship status by now?" Serene asked her voice loosing its once ecstatic vigor.

" I know how to respect privacy Serene" Zachary said leaning back into the sofa and spreading his legs a little looking carefree.

" Please don't taint my mood by mentioning that Man, I have not come here for such" Serene said, finally keeping her emotions in check. She was about breaking down at the memories that flooded in.

" What have you come here for, Serene?"

" I want you to trace an account for me " Serene said smiling lightly

Zachary's face lightened up as he heard her statement. He took this as a challenge, he has been treating his hacking skills as a way of challenging to suit his entertainment for so many years, and he loved every single moment spent on it.

" Oh my, what a blessing in disguise" He said with a smile. He looked much better and feminine as he smiled.

" Someone is planning on destroying me, Hailey suspects it's Eva while I suspect it's some else. Trace the account I'll show you now and tell me who the person is" Serene said. She unlocked her phone and showed him the account.

" it was created not long ago" Zachary said.

" Yes "

" Then I'll be back, just give me at most ten minutes " Zachary said dashing indoors to get his laptop.

Soon he started working on it making comments about the things he found interesting as he tapped lightly forcefully on his keyboard.

" Do you know anyone like Davis?" Zachary asked when he was done with the coding.

" No"

" The account was created by Davis" Zachary announced

" Do you want me to trace this Davis?" he asked

Serene nodded in approval and soon Zachary began his task.

'Who is this Davis' ? Serene thought

' Have I unknowingly offended someone?'
