*Yawning* God, I had a good sleep.
Jungkook made his way to the kitchen, his footsteps echoing in the empty hallway.
His mind was a whirlwind of conflicting emotions, but he shoved them aside, focusing instead on making himself a cup of coffee.
The water shimmering in the dim light. As he took a sip, he tried to drown out the nagging voice in his head, the one that kept reminding him of Taehyung's broken expression.
Minutes later, Jaekook stepped in. He stretched, yawning as he walked towards the fridge.
He raised an eyebrow but said nothing, pouring himself a glass of water and leaning against the counter.
Jeon Jungkook
Rough evening?
Jungkook asked, his tone casual as he took a sip of his coffee.
Jaekook glanced up, his expression guarded.
Jeon Jaekook
You could say that.
He replied, taking a sip of his water.
Jungkook shrugged, taking another sip of coffee.
Jeon Jungkook
Well, a rough day comes with a rough night.
Jeon Jungkook
And, did your guests treat him rightly?
Jeon Jaekook
Well, not really. You know, what hyung. I almost felt sorry for him. *Chuckles*
Jeon Jungkook
Well, don’t let it get to you. He'll be fine.
He said dismissively, his eyes flickering briefly towards the hallway.
Jeon Jaekook
You're right. *Laughs*
Jeon Jungkook
Yeah. *Takes another sip*

Did he do something? 🤨
Jungkook emerged from his bedroom. As he walked down the dimly lit hallway, he passed by Taehyung's room, his footsteps slowing as he neared his door.
Jungkook stared at Taehyung's tear-streaked face, the blade on the floor, and the blood trickling from his wrists.
A flicker of something—guilt, sorrow, anger—passed through him, but he pushed it down, burying it beneath his usual cold exterior. Without a word, he shut the door behind him with a finality that echoed through the silent house.
Jeon Jungkook
Well, yeah. No. He was bleeding.
Jeon Jaekook
Bleeding? Did he die? Cause if that's true, I'll be the happiest person! 😂
Jeon Jungkook
No. He won't die so easily.
Jeon Jaekook
Right. That b!tch won't die easily. 🙄
In the quiet of the kitchen, both brothers remained oblivious to the depth of Taehyung's pain, choosing instead to retreat into their own worlds, leaving him to face his suffering alone.
But what they don't know is that their other brother didn't leave him suffer alone.
