Upon arriving at the restaurant, a charming place known for its intimate setting, Ethan handed the keys to the valet and offered Rachel his arm as they walked inside. The restaurant was cozy and elegant, with soft lighting and a gentle hum of conversation from other patrons. The aroma of freshly cooked food wafted through the air, making their mouths water in anticipation.

Rachel asked, noticing the sudden tension in Ethan’s posture.

Rachel nodded, accepting his answer, and suggested,

As Maya stepped out of the washroom, she casually glanced toward the table where Ethan and Rachel had been sitting. Her smile faded as she noticed the empty table, the chairs neatly pushed in as if they had left in a hurry. A wave of disbelief washed over her, followed swiftly by anger.
She clenched her fists, her mind racing.

"How could Ethan do this to me?"
She thought, feeling a surge of resentment.

The realization that Ethan had chosen Rachel over her, even in that brief moment, stung deeply. It wasn’t just about him leaving; it was about him leaving her behind, as if she meant nothing.
Maya stood there, the anger bubbling up inside her, her mind plotting her next move. She wasn’t going to let this slide—not without making sure Ethan knew just how much it hurt her.

A smirk curved on her lips as she turned away, her mind already crafting a plan to pull Ethan back into her orbit, no matter what it took.
Maya didn’t care about right or wrong, she had become obsessed for Ethan. She wanted to see him humbled, no matter what it took. She was determined to find a way to make him submit and experience defeat.
