Marriage Of Deception| Author-Tanvi

First meeting

Ruhani Roy Kapoor lay on the bed, trembling in the dark room. Tonight was her wedding night with the younger son of the Singhania family.

There had been no wedding rituals. A man in a wheelchair was waiting for her. He had said coldly, "Send her to my room after she bathes. I want to conduct a virginity test on her."

"Virginity test," Ruhani thought, held no significance for him. He was merely taking advantage of her. To him, Ruhani was an object that he now had complete ownership of.

Suddenly, the door opened, startling Ruhani. She gripped the blanket tightly. It was said that the younger son of the Singhania family had a very dangerous and bad temper.

His mood would sour quickly due to his crippled legs and impotence, and he was often in a foul mood. Rumor had it that he had cursed his three previous wives to death.

However, many greedy people wanted to make money off this rich man, but no one in the whole town had the courage to marry their daughter to him, except for the Kapoor family!

The Kapoor family needed money. Their company was on the brink of bankruptcy, and Ruhani's father, Sanjay, had borrowed money but was struggling due to high interest rates. The creditors were threatening and intimidating them.

Ruhani's parents found a solution in this crisis—they decided to marry their daughter to the middle son of the Singhania family to get help and save their company through this relationship.

However, they did not want Ruhani's younger sister, who was still a virgin, to marry a crippled man. So, they decided that Ruhani should marry the middle son instead, even though he had been married before. Ruhani couldn't refuse her father, as her parents had raised her for the past 20 years.

She believed that parents always make decisions for the good of their children. However, Ruhani did not know that her father had betrayed her for money, to save his company.

Unaware of the deceit, Ruhani agreed to marry the middle son of the Singhania family. The sound of the wheelchair scraping the floor was loud, and Ruhani's breath was caught in her throat out of fear.

She could see a shadow approaching her in the dark. Suddenly, the blanket was lifted, and someone touched her very gently. The touch was rough and cold. "Ah..." Ruhani couldn't stop herself from screaming. The man laughed, "Ha ha... ha ha... What happened? Are you scared?"

He didn't stop touching her. His hands slowly moved from her cheeks to her neck, then down her body. Finally, his fingers started to touch her. Ruhani held the blanket tightly. She was barely able to stop herself from running away.

It was very difficult for her to stay there. Her heart was urging her to run away as fast as she could, but she managed to stay put.

The man's hands continued to move downward and reached below her waist. "Please stop," Ruhani screamed.

Before he could touch her any lower, Ruhani grabbed his hands. It was said that mentally unstable people could have violent tendencies. Thinking this, Ruhani trembled with fear and said, "Mr. Singhania, please don't do this to me...!"

"Why not?" he replied.

Ruhani was shocked. Lakshya had grabbed her hands and knew that she was trembling. "Why are you pretending to be a virgin?" Lakshya asked with a laugh.

Hearing this, Ruhani, who was lying on the bed, was stunned. "Could it be that...?" At the next moment, as the lights from the cameras turned on, Ruhani closed her eyes.

Lakshya withdrew his hands and, looking at Ruhani, said, "Should I call you Shreya or Ruhani, my dear wife?" His words sent a shiver down Ruhani's spine. When she opened her eyes,

she saw Lakshya looking at her with anger and indifference. Despite being in a wheelchair, his demeanor and nature were dominating. No one dared to talk to him or come close to him.

Was this the same man she had heard rumors about? Was he really so angry and harsh? He looked very handsome and good-looking.

It was normal for a famous, rich businessman to have rumors about him, but the rumors about Lakshya Singhania's anger and harshness were particularly prevalent. Thinking this, Ruhani Roy Kapoor was astonished.

After a while, she sat up on the bed, lowered her gaze, and said, "Look, you are mistaken. I am Shreya Roy Kapoor."

...Hearing this, Lakshya laughed, then took an envelope out of his pocket and threw it in front of Ruhani. Ruhani picked up the envelope slowly and, upon opening it, she was shocked....
