The girl asked Ruhani, "Who are you to come between us, and how dare you stop me?"

Without answering, Ruhani slapped the girl hard, and the sound echoed through the corridor. The girl was shocked.

She angrily asked, "How dare you raise your hand on me? Who are you to come between me and this disabled Lakshya?"

Ruhani got even angrier and slapped her again. Though Ruhani looked very simple, her aura was filled with courage.

She looked at the girl and said, "I am Lakshya's wife. How dare you insult my husband in front of me and use foul language against him? Before I beat you more, get out of here!"

Despite hearing this, when the girl still stood there, Ruhani said, "Are you still standing here? Should I call the security guard to throw you out, or should I push you out myself?"

Saying this, Ruhani pretended to call security. "I will see to it that you beg for your life at my feet soon," said the girl angrily before storming off.

Lakshya silently watched Ruhani in amazement. She didn't seem weak or submissive at all now. He kept staring at her, feeling emotions for Ruhani that he couldn't understand.

When Ruhani turned to look at Lakshya, her expressions changed completely. He said, "I underestimated you."

Ruhani nonchalantly replied, "Although we had stated that we wouldn't interfere with each other, we are husband and wife. As your wife, I can't stand anyone insulting you, no matter who they are." This left Lakshya stunned.

He laughed strangely and said, "It seems getting married has made you very emotional. How quickly you accept another man as your husband!"

Ruhani looked at him in surprise and, without saying anything, went behind him and took hold of his wheelchair. "Since I'm here in your office, you should also remember your promise," she said.

Then Ruhani took him into the office. She asked Lakshya, "What work do I need to do?" Lakshya did not respond but instead, showing his arrogance, said, "It seems you're not afraid of me."

Making a face, Ruhani said, "I don't have any desire to be your assistant either, but I can't refuse Grandpa."

Lakshya angrily asked, "Are you trying to scare me by mentioning Grandpa?" Ruhani replied, "What do you want, and why are you doing this? We are both victims of these circumstances. Can't we treat each other properly?"

Then she saw that the office was a mess, with papers scattered on the floor, probably by that girl. Thinking this, she picked up all the papers and neatly placed them on the table.

Seeing her quietly working, Lakshya thought that Grandpa had sent another greedy woman to keep an eye on him. Watching her help him made a place for Ruhani in his heart, but it could also be part of her plan. Anything could be possible; she might be doing all this to get close to him.

Lakshya felt this girl was more cunning than the others. Just then, Aarav entered the office and said, "Sir, the meeting is about to start in 10 minutes."

Seeing Ruhani in the office, Aarav was surprised. He couldn't believe she had come to the office so quickly, that too on foot.

Lakshya was about to ask Aarav to take him to the conference room when an idea struck him, and he said to Ruhani, "Do you really want to be my assistant? Alright, I'll give you a chance to prove yourself!"

Then Aarav took Lakshya to the conference room, and Ruhani followed them. When Ruhani entered the conference room with Lakshya, everyone was surprised.

Everyone knew only Aarav took care of Lakshya. Now that there was a girl with him, everyone wondered what their relationship was.

Ruhani had worked as an assistant before but had never seen so many people together in a conference room. The Singhania Corporation's conference room was very large and beautiful, being one of the world's leading companies. Seeing so many people, Ruhani's confidence wavered.
