Don't come close to me

Thinking about all these things sent a shiver down Ruhani's spine. She wondered, does this mean that things aren't always what they seem?

If that's the case, it applies to Abhinav as well. He always claimed that he had no interest in physical relationships and kept apologizing to Ruhani for keeping his distance.

But eventually, he showed his true colors. In the end, he brought his girlfriend home and kicked Ruhani out.

He kept Ruhani deceived for two years. There's nothing more dangerous in this world than a human being. Suddenly, Ruhani realized that Lakshya wasn't as bad as he pretended to be.

After all, like her, he was also trapped in this difficult situation. Somewhere, both of them had fallen victim to the betrayal of their families.

When Ruhani looked up, she saw two people standing in front of her. Aarav was standing behind Lakshya's wheelchair, and Lakshya, sitting in the wheelchair, was staring at her.

If her thoughts about Lakshya hadn't changed, she would have left immediately. But after finding out that Lakshya was also being deceived by his brother and grandfather, Ruhani began to feel some sympathy for him.

But she hadn't forgotten how Lakshya had forced her to get an abortion. Remembering this, she turned and started to leave. Lakshya shouted, "Stop...!"

Ruhani turned around and, with an angry expression, said, "What do you want to say?"

Lakshya replied, "You are my assistant, and you haven't come to the office for two days without any reason. Do you not care about your job?"

Hearing this, Ruhani remembered what Mr. Singhania had said. She wasn't there as Lakshya's assistant but as Mr. Singhania's spy. Thinking of this, she said, "Why do you even need an assistant? Anyway, let me relieve you of this trouble. I will no longer work as your assistant."

Hearing her words, Lakshya angrily said, "What do you think of yourself? You become an assistant whenever you want and leave the job whenever you please."

Ruhani, surprised by his words, asked, "What do you want from me after all?"

Aarav, angered by this, said, "You are a very cunning woman. Despite everything, Lakshya Sir cares so much for you, looks after you, and even allowed you to keep this illegitimate child. How can you...!"

Lakshya, infuriated by Aarav's words, shouted, "Shut up...!"

Aarav fell silent. Ruhani looked at both of them with disbelief and asked, "What did you say?"

Ruhani clearly remembered that preparations were being made for her abortion in the operating room. So, did Lakshya stop the doctor from performing the abortion in time? She couldn't remember much due to unconsciousness; all she recalled was that when she woke up, she was in the Singhania Mansion.

Lakshya, with an arrogant tone, said, "There's no need to think too much. I don't care about doing anything for a woman like you." With that, he left.

As Ruhani watched him leave, she began to wonder how this could be possible. She had thought her abortion was done.

After hearing Aarav's words, she realized that she didn't feel any pain or discomfort in her body. After a while, Ruhani called her friend and went with her to the doctor for a checkup to see if the baby was okay.

She had thought that Lakshya would never accept this child. Tanya said, "It seems that Lakshya isn't as bad as you thought. What have you planned for the future?"

Ruhani replied, "I don't know. I want to take things one step at a time." Ruhani hadn't dreamed big about her life. After her first marriage, she had dedicated her life to Abhinav. And now that she was with Lakshya, her only goal was to stay in the Singhania family. Tanya curiously asked, "But who was that man that night? Did it ever occur to him that you could be pregnant? Did he even try to find you? Have you ever thought about finding that man?"

Ruhani replied, "Why should I find him? I have no interest in knowing anything about him, and I don't want to know anything. I don't even remember what he looks like. It was raining heavily that night, and I couldn't see his face due to the darkness. I'm Lakshya's wife. If he even suspects that I'm looking for that man, he'll throw me out of the house."

Tanya said, "I'll find out about it."

Ruhani said, "Thank you so much, Tanya."

Tanya replied, "Why are you thanking me? I should be the one thanking you. You saved me from being bullied in school and always stood by me.

Tanya had been adopted by her family, and due to their poverty,

she was often mocked at school. But Ruhani never left her side and always fought against those who bullied her. After that, they became very close friends.

As soon as Ruhani entered her room, she was surprised to see Lakshya there. He usually was at the office at that time, but today he was sitting at home reading a magazine. When Ruhani approached him, she noticed that Lakshya was busy with a video conference.

Ruhani quietly stood near him, listening to him talk. Lakshya was completely focused on his magazine. After a while, the meeting ended. As soon as Ruhani took a step towards him, Lakshya said, "Don't come near me."

Hearing this, Ruhani stopped where she was.
